Niesamowite miejsce ze świetną energią. Zespół który pracuje w hotelu jest wyjątkowy. Jedzenie w hotelu w 70% pochodzi z ich własnych upraw. Jest bardzo ciekawe i smaczne. Widok z pokoju jest cudowny.

Buahan gives a completely new perspective in a hotel stay (a modern take on a traditional Balinese house) while giving you a true experience of the culture and appreciation of nature and wilderness. You won't leave without learning something about yourself. It is an escape with an open, breathtaking view of the world like no other, an elegantly designed room using natural materials for construction and furnishing, with hospitality that is genuine and warm, and cultivated foods to detoxify your body and soul. I could only dream of a place like this away from a polluted, busy civilization. If you don't like this place for any reason, you are missing the point.
I didn't like that I had to leave.

Everything was beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very private, the pool is just great size with beautiful views (definitely go for the valley views instead of the river). The bed is extra comfortable and cozy, as beautiful when they close the curtains at night.
Plenty of activities also free of charge like hiking, waterfall, farm… staff is unreal, everyone is very attentive and smiling all the time. Arpa was available at any time during the whole stay doing everything and beyond to make us feel like home. We were shocked with R, he makes the most beautiful cocktails with all farmed ingredients and even prepare their own alcohol. Food menus are very curated and delicious.
Definitely worth the expense to stay in this marvelous property, they have done a great job with sustainability and it’s beautiful seeing they tried to touch the least possible the environment and surroundings.
Everything was more than perfect, it was a true pleasure to stay

Our stay at Buahan, under the gracious care of De Gus, exceeded all our expectations. From the impeccable service to the unique atmosphere and exquisite local food, everything was simply top-notch. This place is a hidden gem, with its tranquil surroundings and beautifully designed rooms. We highly recommend it to fellow Arabic travelers for an unforgettable experience. This place truly offers a taste of paradise.

Nothing short of spectacular!
One of the most unique places on earth to spend an evening. We had a fabulous time.
The occasion was our 10th anniversary, thank you Susi and all the team for making it a special time.
We travelled North and around the coast via Lovina to spend the evening here. We would recommend other visitors do this if you are centrally located as we found the drive a bit more comfortable and accessible. We have taken southern roads before and the travel time is longer in our opinion.
There is a narrow private access road into Buhan which is charming and the facilities are very private and secluded. We loved this.
On site the surroundings are stunning and this is a gross understatement. The vibe comes with a true Balinese cultural service experience we cannot praise all the staff enough.
What we would typically expect from a hotel lobby, reception experience is something entirely different here. It redefines this experience for a guest. You have to go there to experience it first hand. There is no obvious defined lobby or reception as such the whole experience is tour in stages and makes for a very warm hospitable experience.
The accommodation is nothing short of dream worthy. Photos do not it justice no matter how impressive the photography. Be prepparred for a complete outdoor experience in complete privacy. The Treetop construction is both fascinating and uplifting to experience. The private pool and adjacent resting cabano areas are perfect for chilling out and lazing around. In the evening we sat by the fire pit and the guest team prepparred all the bamboo screening and internal nets (for those scared of the local wildlife). In that respect, despite the obvious outdoor venue there is very little of this for anyone with any concerns.
We were also extremely impressed with the level of overall material finish, like the sanitaryware, showers, bath etc. Whilst this is undoubtedly a luxury experience nothing has been short cut.
There was nothing we didn't love.

From the moment of arrival, we felt instantly relaxed and excited to begin our holiday. It was lovely chatting to the Resort Manager Puspa and hearing stories about the Buahan journey thus far from an insider's point of view. Buahan's commitment to sustainability, fostering community and encouraging guests to be at one with nature are highly commendable.
For us it's the amazing people, exceptional food and unique experiences that made our stay truly wonderful and unforgettable. A special mention goes to De Gus, our host who was professional, friendly, engaging and always anticipated our needs. On numerous occasions he went out his way to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of.
Special thanks to Chef Eka and Chef Agus for the mouth watering meals they prepared for us. We love the concept of 70% plant based, and also the opportunity to go foraging for ingredients, we have learnt so much!
A few tips and must do's to share based on our experience:
- Tjampuhan Waterfall Trek --> Descend down gravel pathways and you'll be rewarded with Buahan's own private waterfall, beautiful and mesmerising.
- Pop-up lunch at Tegal Dukuh, Taro Village --> The perfect blend of culture, adventure, education and of course, delicious food.
- Yoga @ the Pavilion --> Best way to start your day, breathe in the peace and tranquility, practising yoga amongst the lush forest and greenery.
- Cocktail hour @ Botanist Bar --> Enjoy the 'Salak' Cocktail (whiskey sour with a Buahan twist!) during sunset
- Subak Buahan Trek --> A delightful trek exploring local plants and flora, finishing with a stroll through paddy rice fields.
Last but not least, if you're reading this review and researching a resort to stay at in Bali, look no further and book Buahan - it is truly one of a kind, an experience like no other!
Wish we could have stayed longer!

Banyan Tree had everything we were looking for a unique relaxing getaway.
The villa was super comfortable with a magnificent private pool, the food was delicious, the spa amazing and the view of the jungle and rice fields majestic.
Although the food was very special, we found ourselves hungry at the end of the tasting menu on both nights. Also, it could be nice to have a few options to choose from even though the kitchen was very accommodating.

feeling of being in the middle of the jungle in contact with nature

The great welcoming service, and the nice atmosphere of the place
Season change causes many insects to escape the jungle and come into in the room. However, they provide you with shades to cover your bedroom and also you get an Insect spray if you request
