So close to everything yet feels so secluded.

It was a very relaxing stay in the woods. Plenty of wood for campfires to burn which was really nice also.

Love this place! Ive stayed here several times and will continue to booking this place. Love the convenience especially if your a mtb/hiker/and or trail runner. The place is very private and peaceful and town is not far at all.

Absolutely perfect location! House is beautiful, with new furnishings, and all the modern comforts of home and then some! I think the best part is John (and all) commitment to great customer service... I never waited longer than 5 minutes for a response to a random question --- top notch service you don't even get from 4 star hotels! If I could give a higher rating I would!! Highly Recommended!!

Awesome place to enjoy peace and quiet, close to bike trails and hot springs. The best of all worlds!

We travel quite frequently and wanted to stay at a dog friendly place away from the hustle/bustle. Cute little cabin with all the amenities of a luxurious hotel room. The owners even had place ready earlier than check although we werent able to take advantage of it. Very scenic location away from the noise/crowds of the main drag in Hot Springs. Place has everything youd need for your stay including an extra bedroom, coffee maker and even a short walk to the Northwood trails. The main drag of town itself is just a few minutes drive from the cabin and offers its own parking. Interior of the cabin was fine, no issues whatsoever. Appreciated various supplies/resources which were available to us including maps/batteries/soap etc. We appreciated the privacy/quietness, highly recommend. Would easily stay here again.

The property was beautiful inside and out. Our puppy, Buttercup enjoyed walking around the property. We, also, liked that the distance to the downtown area was a short drive.

Amazing cabin in an amazing place. The cabin has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Everything is so new and clean. The place is in a very private and quiet place close to the mountain bikes trails. We enjoyed so much! It was a really relaxing, family time weekend!

Everything was perfect! The owners try to think of EVERYTHING to make your stay like home! I can’t even begin to describe how peaceful and beautiful this place is. The cabin is new and super comfortable. Very close to everything but you feel like you’re a million miles from anything!! We Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back this way.

Located at the Waterworks trailhead to the North Woods Park. Seconds from great hiking and biking.

We loved the location - out in the woods yet close to town and right off the Norhwoods hiking trails. We enjoyed hiking the Northwoods trails and the Hot Springs National Park trails with our dog. It was a quick and easy drive into town (with a free parking garage) to enjoy the park, bathhouses, etc.
We have a few recommendations to make the property even nicer: (1) It would be helpful to have a dresser or armoire or something for clothes storage in the bedrooms. There are no closets or drawers anywhere in the cabin to store clothes. (2) The heater is VERY loud when it turns on. It woke up both my wife and me when it came on at night. (3) The Internet signal is not very strong. Granted, we were trying to "get away from it all", but we wanted to watch our team play basketball, and the signal was not strong enough to watch the game.

We came out here for a weekend in Hot Springs. The profile of the house looked great, but the location and space really exceeded our expectations. We were secluded, but 7 minutes from downtown, and the waterworks trail is right off of the property. Our kids had so much fun running around outside! We used the queen bed for our 2 y/o, and brought a pack n play for the 1 y/o. We loved the local coffee provided at the cabin as well. All in all, if we come back, we will definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay here. There was planets of room for my wife and me as well as our three boys (10, 8, and 6) and our dog.
The boys loved the wilderness aspect of the cabin, playing in the woods and starting camp fires in the awesome fire pit.
We loved the quiet atmosphere of the cabin and it was literally only a 5 minute drive into downtown Hot Springs to see all the sites that the city offers.
Will definitely be back again!

We loved this location, it’s secluded and beautiful but 5 minutes to the historic district. Great outdoor space for our 3 kids to run around! The house is great, we’ll decorated and clean. My boys loved the old school Nintendo! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for hosting us in your lovely cabin.

We had such a great time and loved our stay!

We had a lovely stay at the end of October! The cabin was super clean and cozy. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen! Perfect location, just about 5 minutes from town, but still felt off the beaten path. Just a note that there is no wifi as of October, and not much cell reception! Which is nice to unplug, but just be aware.

Easy access to trails and a short commute to downtown Hot Springs.
Highly recommend.

This property exceeded our expectations and our family had such a wonderful time. The details are lovely and a great location-easy to go hiking/biking, and 5 min into town. Will definitely recommend northwoods basecamp to friends and family!

Adjacent to the North Woods trails. Bike in/out. Very close to historic hot springs. Great for our family of 4, teen in the second bedroom and 8yr old on the air mattress (no pull out couch as advertised).

We had the best time at this cabin! It was so clean and tidy. We will be back again! The host communicated very well and answered all my questions.

This is our favorite find to-date! Secluded cabin in the woods yet close to everything. Cabin is brand new and very comfortable. Loved the little touches of coffee from a local coffee company and the Nintendo. My kids enjoyed some down time playing the vintage games. Wonderful place and quick replies to questions. Great stay!

The cabin was just as pictured. Very clean and had everything we needed. However, if we were to stay longer than 4-5 days, a washer and dryer would be a nice amenity. Beds were comfortable and new and linens were nice and clean. Would stay again.

Family of 5. Loved the quiet location and cleanliness. Felt at home there. No AT&T cell service at the location an no WiFi. We didn’t mind it. If we return to the Hot Springs area, we’d stay here again for sure.

Beautiful, quiet, clean place
This place was exactly as advertised. It was well equipped with everything we needed and more. The host provided bottled water and coffee, which was very nice. The location is about as good as it gets if you’re not on the lake. It looks like they’re planning to build more cabins on-site, which will detract from the peace and privacy, but will probably be popular with groups wanting to stay together.

Hidden Gem! (but not for long)
This cabin is absolutely awesome, exactly what we were looking for...3 minutes to the city square and only a couple hundred yards to hiking rails. If you are a mountain biker this place is perfect for you! We had a great time and the house had everything we ever needed + secluded in the woods. Would highly recommend!

Relaxing getaway!
The cabin is nestled in the woods just a few feet away from the Northwoods Bike Trail. It offers peaceful seclusion while being only minutes away from Downtown Hot Springs. We enjoyed being able to unplug and spend quality time as a family. The newly built cabin is beautifully decorated and has all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay. This place is beautiful, peaceful and well worth the stay.
