It’s a good house in a convenient location. It has great potential if properly maintained. It wasn’t properly cleaned. The outdoor furniture is very old, dirty, and torn. The bedsheets - not sure how often they get washed. The house and bathrooms were not professionally cleaned. In the kitchen there was one pan and just 2 pots in a 4 bedroom house that can sleep up to 8 guests and those were dirty. There was an old salt shaker & pepper in the house. The bathroom mats were old & dirty. The showers don’t have plastic liners resulting in water on the floor when you take shower. You have to clean the puddle after taking shower. We notified owner and they brought one cloth shower curtain which is useless. There wasn’t enough toilet paper and kitchen paper towels. There was only one trash bag. There was no facial tissue or dishwasher soap or enough laundry detergent. We had to ask the host for all these items including bathroom towels. The deadbolt in the house doesn’t work. The owners seem to be either not trusting the guests or are trying to a few dollars by skimping on the supplies. They really need to do a better job maintaining the house and provide adequate supplies.

The host is very communicative and accommodating! It is an ideal home if you're just going in and out.
This is based on our experience so im not sure if others will run into these issues i listed below. I did leave five stars because it is minimal (nothing beyond) to what to expect for a vrbo stay
I would recommend the host provide more paper towels and toilet paper. We did not have any trash bags or dish washer pods either. The shower towels are very thin so did not dry overnight. It looks/feels like a beach towel. But, we did end up requesting for more towels and dishwasher pods and they accommodated us very quickly!
Upon entering through the front gate we were SWARMED with these flying mosquito looking bugs. We had to buy insect repellant and sprayed it around the doors and they mostly disappeared throughout our stay. I would suggest you or the host provide bug spray if you want to hang out in the patio.
I would also suggest providing more blankets downstairs since the house gets cold. We wanted to enjoy movie night in the living room but it wasnt as cozy.
All of the rooms are upstairs so be aware if you have any elderly or small kids.
The beds were super comfy!!!
Overall we enjoyed the neighborhood and house. Just wish there was more supplies.

It was absolutely great except for one thing - the kitchen had almost no cooking utensils. Usually a vacation house, especially a family house like that, is fully stocked. I had to buy measuring spoons, a whisk, spatulas, salt and pepper. Other than that, showers were wonderful, the beds were super comfortable, like, incredibly comfortable, massive TV and great family room for that. The lake is very pretty at night. I would stay there again but bring a bag of kitchen supplies.

Clean and sunny. Most everything you need in the unit. Nice relaxing location. Easy communication and easy check-in and out.
Good location and terrific French restaurant several blocks away.
Would definitely stay here again.

Nice property on the lake.

Awesome lake location. Immaculate home. There was no central heat so there were plug-in heaters in every room. That should have been noted pre-arrival. Lighting in all the bedrooms was lacking with exception of master bedroom. No paper towels or Kleenex. However, we did very much enjoy the house, esp the patio on the lake and our stay.
