Great experience enjoyed my stay will definitely be back.

For an inexpensive place to stay, it was fine but there is nothing fancy if you’re looking for that. If you’re planning to stay bring an extension cord for cell phones because there wasn’t an outlet near the bed. Also the only mirror was a small mirror above the small vanity. It would have been nice to have a dressing one on the bathroom door. A small area rug would have been a plus as well.

Overall good stay. The building's a bit run down on the outside and the parking area and stairs were dirty. I requested the address to the exact location of the property and was directed to the website where i was unable to find it. I requested it again and was ignored. The location was great and the room was adequate. Nothing fancy but nice.

The building has a rundown look. The tiny refrigerator doesn't work well and drools water onto the floor, toilet keeps running with nearly every flush, the front stairs have irregular tread heights from one to another making ascending and descending a bit tricky. Also, some of the steps have an uneven tread surface also making their use tricky. It is a dangerous situation for those that are unaware or anyone who is a bit of a fall risk. Love the location as it right across the street from the Pink Pony Pub which was next door to the Gulf Shores Motel we stayed at when I was a "tweenager" in the 60's and 70's.

Great Location, convenient to shops and restaurants, beach access is right across the road. The Hang out is a block away. Room was clean and provided a nice stay.

We stayed in this property while we were attending Hangout Music Festival. The location was very convenient and close to the venue, which is exactly what we needed. It was also very affordable and fairly quiet. The property itself was quite old and dated, and the room was very small. The room smelled vaguely of mildew. A renovation would really do this property some justice. Nonetheless, we only needed to be close to the festival and the free parking was a major plus.

A lot smaller than the pictures showed. The bathroom ceiling had lots of water damage. Basic toiletries were left, but if you know that the guest is staying for a week, leave more than one roll of toilet paper. My biggest complaint was the remodeling next door. This was my vacation and the noise from next door would not allow me to sleep past 7. It would have been nice to have been notified that they were remodeling or at least moved my room. Walls are super thin and you can hear everything from the other rooms. I also wasn’t left a parking pass/welcome pass in my room so that whole first night I worried about my car being towed. I did like I could walk to beach and to the souvenir shops and the hangout.

We could not have asked for a better location. We went to the beach everyday with ease. Within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and shops. They had a texting service which made it easy to communicate with the team and check-in. This place is small, but perfect for two people. We are very active, but did spend time to chill in the room. We had plenty of room for our things and to get ready. They had drawers for each people, and the nightstands have 2 big drawers as well. When we wanted to relax, we used the bed to lounge. The kitchen is plenty big for 2 people on vacation.
The only issues we had were dirty comforter on the bed and the a/c was not fulling functioning. The comforter had some caked on, sticky food stuff. We didn’t even sleep under the sheets/comforter. It wasn’t a stain, it was fairly new ick. There was also previous renters papers and sheets in one of the drawers that was forgotten by the cleaning team. The maintenance team brought us a fan which was very nice.
We would stay again.

The photos make this property look so much better than it is. Also, when we opened the door in hallway the odor of pot was terrible. We opened the door to room and it reeked of mold and musty. The only night we stayed, we couldn't sleep because of the pot, and musty ordors. Our only saving grace was the property management company - Gulf Shores Rental. They found us another property which was outstanding. I would not recommend this property unless you are a young pot smoking person.

Gulf Shores Rentals do a great job of communication and are extremely friendly if you have to talk to someone. This property is directly across from the beach and The Hangout - no view to speak of but if location and value are high on your list this is it. The property is very quiet, has plenty of parking, an elevator and laundry room. The bed here IS quite high, not an issue unless you can't climb in! Everything in the unit works well. This is my 2nd year to stay in this unit.

Unexpected and unannounced Latino beating on my door trying to get into my rental saying he was changing out the buildings modems. I refused entry. Don't know this guy and he is not accompanied by a management person.
Went to dinner. Came back and was disturbed by the strong oder of smoke in my room. Checked the hallway and no smoke. I have COPD and use a puffer twice a day. This smoke smelled like cigarette smoke and did not dissipate quickly. Had trouble breathing and sleeping that night.
Next day contacted my leasing agent and they knew nothing of a maintenance man needing to access my room.
I will not stay there again.

Reviewer Comments:
The location of this place does not outweigh the negatives. First, there is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up 20+ stairs just to the first level. When we entered the room, we were overwhelmed by a mildewy smell coming from the ac. The door open right against the bed, which is over 4 feet tall btw- good luck getting in. The bathroom sink is outside of the tiny, dilapidated bathroom and is only about 2.5 feet tall. The mini fridge did not cool very well, the side of the stove had rust, and it looked as if there was either rust or mildew on the two chairs at the little table. My husband and I ended up paying more money to stay elsewhere the last two nights. You can spend the same amount for a nicer place in Ft. Morgan, or even outside the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach immediate area because there is plenty of public access to the beaches.

My spouse and I stayed for two of the four nights before we found another place to stay. There is no elevator available, so you must take stairs up (22 to the first level). Once you enter the room, the first thing that hits you is the mildew smell. Then, you realize that the bed is about 4 feet tall and difficult to get into, and the "bathroom" sink that is on the outside of the tiny bathroom is about 2 feet tall (as are the two end tables by the bed). There is a small oven but it has rust on the side next to the cabinet. The small fridge did not cool well. There is a small table and chairs, but the chairs look like they have mildew or rust on the seats. The ceiling in the bathroom is not in good shape, and the bathroom is very small. I would not recommend this location at all. Yes, it is right across the street from the beach, and in a great area, but you could find so much better for the same price a bit farther from the beach. There is ample beach access in Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

gulfview 209
It was actually perfect for one person. I would not recommend 2 staying in this unit. The kind bed is good for that, but the bed took up the overwhelming majority of the room. It looked HUGE in there. I think a queen bed or even a full bed would kind of open it up a bit more. I would guess that Beachview Condos is likely one of the oldest condo buildings there. Don't get me wrong, it was clean and secure and everything I needed was in the unit. The two nightstands and chest could be updated a bit. And the table/2 chairs could be of better quality. Again, it comes down to available space, and the king bed took up most of the room. BUT OVERALL, it was perfect for one person mainly hanging at the beach.

Knowing that this is a "non-view, non-balcony" property directly across from The Hangout and GS Public Beach it was exactly what I expected as far as location. The common areas were in good shape (laundry, elevator, etc) and parking was good. The unit had a couple maintenance issues when I arrived but Gulf Shores Rentals fixed the issues immediately the following day and explained that I was their 1st tenant as managers for this particular property. The unit was very clean, stocked well with kitchen ware, and just as represented in the photos. The tub/shower were excellent. I would highly recommend this unit if you are looking for reasonably priced accommodations with an exceptional location and are ok with no balcony or view.
