About this cottage rental
You’ll love being able to see the sea from the front of the house.. Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: Freeview TV, DVD Player
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Induction Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Coffee Machine
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, Freeview TV Ensuite Wet Room: Shower, Toilet
First Floor:
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds, Freeview TV, DVD Player
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels included and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Private parking for 1 car. On road parking (seasonal restrictions); additional public car park nearby. No smoking. . A recently built fabulous property set in an enviable location and only 400 feet to the beach. The Boat House offers room for four people and space to relax. On the ground floor you’ll find the master bedroom, complete with shower/wet room and plenty of storage. Upstairs is the second bedroom with twin single beds and space for the travel cot, and family bathroom. The house benefits from plenty of natural light and modern plantation shutters to the windows and the second bedroom also has Velux windows and blackout blinds, along with free Wi-Fi. You will find a folder within the property listing many local attractions, pubs and restaurants.
Mersea Island benefits from some fantastic shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs as well as being famous for its seafood and brightly coloured beach huts. Enjoy a drink or something to eat in one of the family friendly pubs and restaurants. Mersea Island is great for anyone who wants a break beside the sea but there are lots of activities to keep you busy too - walking, cycling and sailing to name a few. The Boat House is an ideal location from which to explore Mersea Island.
Cudmore Grove Country Park is situated a short distance away at East Mersea and is terrific for those who prefer green open spaces and quieter spots, why not take a picnic? Should you decide to travel, only 20 minutes away and you can find yourself in the historic city of of Colchester or Maldon, both worth a visit. There are two beachside cafés, a park, a small shop (seasonal) and a bar serving food all within 5 minutes walk of the property. There are further amenities just over a mile away including butchers, bakery and supermarkets.

The property was scrupulously clean & was lovely.

The house was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Lovely welcome from the propery owner. Dog friendly beach only a short walk away. Shops etc. a slightly longer walk, or a short car journey. Great place from which to explore Mersea island and the surrounding area.
