A great adventure for a couple. Centrally located to all major attractions in Sarasota and just minutes from SRQ airport. Home is practically brand new and reminds us of our boating adventures. Make sure to kayak the canals and walk to the sunset beach in the little neighborhood to the west. Tom, the host was super helpful and did a great job in building the water home. Make sure you get the exact address of the marina too. Enjoy!!

Great marina neighbors and quick paddle out to the bay.
some instructions on operating things in the unit would help but everything worked great.

What a sweet little houseboat this is. Tom has worked hard to transform and create this houseboat. It’s nicely decorated and very clean. It is small but great for a few days. Good location and Tom let us use his tandem kayak to cruise the canals and Bay Area. The Ramada next door has a great Tiki bar with views of the water

We enjoyed our stay on this houseboat. It's small but has everything you need. Very well thought out design. Kitchen was stocked with coffee and some drinks in the fridge. Bathroom had shampoo and soap. Bath towels and beach towels were provided. AC kept the space nice and cool. Marina was quiet at night and parking was close by.
Kayaks were available for use. Location was close to local restaurants and one was within walking distance. Tom was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely consider visiting again.

We were excited to stay on a houseboat and it did not disappoint. Close quarters but enough for me and my sister to stay in. It was quiet in the marina and we got some kayaking in, any other boaters we came across were helpful and friendly. The bathroom is small but functional, the ac was cold and kept the living quarters comfortable. Tom added some water and other drinks to the mini fridge which was a nice touch. We brought towels, not knowing what to expect but there were bath and beach towels and small travel shampoos and soaps. We would consider visiting again.

We had a wonderful time staying on the boat house. We are boaters so it felt like home. We made friends with a couple of people living on their boats and had interesting mornings drinking coffee and chatting on the deck. Very clean and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed. The drinks and bottles of water were a nice welcome. Thanks for having us!

Great overall experience. Very clean and very handy place to stay. Parking is super close to the houseboat. It was near all the places we wanted to see. Kayaks were a great addition and the canals around there were fun to explore. You can get live shrimp at the nearby 24/7 Exxon bait shop and a minnow bucket was provided to put the bait in. Caught four fish in the couple of hours that I fished. Only addition needed in my opinion would be a couple more pillows. Otherwise perfect.

Staying on the slip 21 boat house was a treat! Tom Has done a remarkable job building this space. It is very clean, bright, comfortable and all the details have been covered.
The marina it’s self is in need of the same detail to cleanliness and attention that Tom put into his boat but that’s beyond his control.
We slept very well and this was a great place to come back to after being at Anna Maria Island beaches.

This is a small houseboat. This dock area is kind of hidden among some other buildings and a bit challenging to find. The dock was empty with no others around.
The boat itself was very clean. Pictures are accurate. It is small. Two adults are about all you can reasonably fit. You will feel the boat move as you move around.
Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom also very clean. There are a few quirks including how the toilet operates but all are readily figured out.
The common area is clean and nicely outfitted. We did spend a little time in the small deck/porch and that was pleasant.
Host was easy to communicate with and fast to respond.

Small marina with friendly people living and working there. Quiet except for occasional plane which was not bothersome. Houseboat owner built it himself with great quality of work and tastefully decorated. Everything you would need was supplied. Definitely would go back.

We needed somewhere to stay for just a night and this was absolutely perfect and something different than a hotel room. So clean, beautiful décor, very functional and the property manager was wonderful and accommodating. If I am ever in need of a place to stay in this area again I will definitely book again!

The accommodations were wonderful and decorated beautifully.
It was very clean and the location was great. The owner was on the property and assisted us immediately when we asked for help. The restaurant he suggested was amazing and walking distance. We will stay here again. We loved it!

A fun change from a hotel. The cabin is completely updated and very clean. The best part was the kayaks and seeing the dolphin play in the water!

Anniversary trip
Loved the newness and decor of the place. Kayaks were a nice bonus. Space heater kept us warm on a couple chilly nights. Enjoyed waking up in the morning and seeing the water and birds. Bathroom door could use some WD40. 😉 Liked that it was a gated marina. Drinks left by owner were a nice added touch too. Overall this was such a cool place for a couple to stay for a few days.

Break from the norm
My son and I stayed here when he played in a showcase at IMG. Very close to campus and a nice break from the usual hotel accommodations. Very clean and comfortable for 2. We had a great time and would definitely return. The owner response was impressive. Good people. We will be back.
