i would love to visit there again anytime soon

Place was super and enjoyable. workers were so friendly and lovely. breakfast was super and rooms so clean. i love their outdoor swimming pool.

If it wasn’t for the lady Ruth I wasn’t going to recommend the place. She did all she can to accommodate us

Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Two ladies doing all the work. And we waited so long at the gate. My room’s key was missing, we had to risk our lives and trust God for protection.

Absolutel mess, loud and worn-out facilities

The staff was relatively friendly.

The facilities are worn-out, with plugs hanging from the wall. It didn’t look like what you see on the pictures. They advertised a TV but it didn’t work. The place was playing loud music. My partner and I could only sleep at 1 am in the morning.

Worst booking

Absolutely nothing. The place was horrible from the moment we arrived. It didn't feel safe and very untidy

It looked untidy. Nothing like the pictures on booking.com. It was untidy. The lady was extremely rude who came to see what we were complaining about. Another couple had also complained and wr all had left 30min after arriving. Pools weren't working. It didn't feel safe. We asked for a refund and we were met with threats.

The place looked nice though it was still being developed/fixed.

The staff member that served us breakfast looked like he just woke up,didn't look neat at all and didn't ask us how we prefer our eggs prepared. From the house to the parking you have to walk up a steep which is very tiring.

The place is so beautiful, peaceful and very clean. The staff was very welcoming and helpful at all times. Breakfast was very delicious.

A disappointment, avoid avoid avoid

The property was in a deplorable state, overwhelmed with clutter ranging from broken down cars and construction debris to shattered chairs and dangling electrical cables. Adding to the misery, they used a wine cooler as a makeshift fridge.

The list of issues seemed never-ending. Considering the condition of the guesthouse, I must emphatically recommend giving this one a wide berth if you value any semblance of comfort or quality during your trip. Spare yourself the unpleasantness and seek alternative accommodation with more class and better standards.

it was ok because o wanted a s weekend away from home but i dont see myself going back there again

the Lady that welcomed us was on the call on our arrival and she pointed us to our room while on the phone, we were not even sure if we were directed to the correct room,we had to call her after her call and ASK her question about our stay and what time will the Breakfast served, i was not impressed at all, i stayed there because i have already paid otherwise i would have drived back

Maupa is perched high on a hillside and provides a majestic panoramic view of the surroundings.

Exceptional, well set out and leisurely and very tasteful

The plugs in the rooms must take into account the need for side lamps on pedestals. The desk(s) should also have better electricity connection and finally WIFI could be better as the signal was very weak

View from lounge

Walk to house. Very dangerous Driveway had a 45 degree incline. Very bad to have to reverse out of that. Our car got damaged. Service pathetic as they did not answer their phone or open the gate when we arrived there

Totally rude and disrespectful, disappointing!!!

I booked online as I was on my way to JHB. As I went through Polokwane they robbed me with all my belongings including the car. So I was stranded. After all stress and shock I phoned her yesterday asking if it’s possible for refund and I explain to her what happened. She said this is a business she can’t pay everyone back then she’s not gonna keep the doors opened I should’ve phoned her. I told her they took everything. I WhatsApp her and ask nicely if she can and she ignores me, with no answer yes or no… I think she’s rude and disrespectful

Superb

I enjoyed the atmosphere,it was quite and the view it's so wonderful and relaxed.the staff gave excellent service thanks to thapelo and the lady who was assisting us.

If they could put a kittle,tea things and iron in every room Also add chairs or couch to relax in rather than sitting in the bed.

Their breakfast is very delicious, their rooms are very big and clean, all three swimming pools are very clean, the place is very unique and the mountain view is very attractive, we really enjoyed our two nights there.

The place is beautiful can't wait to come back as soon as they are done with the renovations

The location is great, quite, safe and peaceful. They serve the best breakfast we loved it. I loved how friendly and helpful the staff member was (Magauta). Ausi Mpho making sure that we have all the things we requested 😊 there is an indoor swimming pool😍

Due to the renovations we did not have the outdoor mountain view experience we were looking forward to.
