Fine for 1 night. Needs some TLC.

The inside is fine. It is clean and has almost everything you need. The location is good, as a short walk along the river takes you into the town.

The outside area really lets this place down. There are building materials lying around outside and the area next to the patio is in desperate need of a tidy up. It does not give a good impression when you arrive and it is a shame, as it could be made so much better. The patio is not finished as some slabs are loose. A couple of things inside: No soap or towel in the toilet. The shower room of the double bed had an empty soap dispenser, some very watered down soap and a very small square of soap. The air con unit in this double room is taped over and though it does work, we couldn't use it as it makes a loud sound approximately every couple of minutes. As a consequence, we became hot during the night.

An enjoyable stay in a lovely part of Normandy.

Location was good. Very near the banks of the river Seine. Everything that I needed was there, or provided later by the host who answered my messages promptly. Very comfortable.

The outside space. An unseasonal amount of rain meant that the garden was badly in need of trimming and tidying. However, when I mentioned this to the host, he assured me that a gardener was going to sort it out. When he/ she does, it will be a lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal.

Not what we expected!

It was convenient to get to Giverny.

Impossible to find - no directions were given to find the apartment other than park on the left. A very nice young man helped us find the apartment. Then we had a lot of trouble opening the key box. Finally it popped open and we couldn't open the door. Everyone tried with no success then I moved the door handle up instead of down and the door opened! The family in the apartment next to us also had the same problem - knocked on our door and asked how we got in. So directions with street names of where to turn to access the apartment would be very helpful (we parked very far away because the road was blocked) and how to work the door. Not common to pull the handle up instead of down. Also, quite surprised that we were asked to vacuum, mop the floor, do the dishes, etc before leaving. We didn't. Not sure if the sheets on one bed were changed - the sheets really looked like someone had slept there! Next to the patio was an overgrown plot of weeds. Not a very nice area. This place could be fine with a little TLC.

Nice time catching up with friends.

It’s a new built unit. Nice set up with big table and chairs. Sitting area outside. Good kitchen with enough utensils.it hs a small dishwasher .2 bedrooms and bathroom and one toilet. Great area for walks to Vernon over looking the Seine. Easy drive to Givency. We would stay again.

Although there are many good points about this property there are many areas that can be improved.

The property is in a good location on the banks of the Seine and a mile from the railway station (line to Paris). It is easy to get to Giverny (Monet house and gardens). High class knives in the kitchen and good quality kitchen furnishings. When we asked to change from the double bed to two single ones (as I have broken my arm and need more room) the owner came very promptly to change the bedding. The table and chairs outside (with umbrella) were good in the nice weather. Very clean and good quality furnishings.

Facilities in the kitchen were poor despite the modern ambience as described above: there is no kettle; no coffee-making facilities other than a maker that requires specific coffee pods to be bought (and is very environmentally unfriendly) and no grater (for carrots, cheese etc) - the owner said he would provide one when we asked, but he did not. There was no corkscrew/bottle opener, although the owner brought one after a day or so. There are no instructions for the coffee maker, the induction hob or the washing machine or indication of what sort of soap to use for the latter. There is no jug (or pan with a lip); the only saucepans, though good quality, were enormous - about 26cms diameter; no oven gloves and only 3 thin cloths in the kitchen (I burnt myself getting food out of the oven); no towel for the kitchen or toilet (we asked for some but they were never supplied). There was no wi-fi until the second day we were there. There is only one settee/easy chair. This is very low and difficult for people like us who are elderly (I sat on pillows, otherwise I couldn't get up!). We asked for 2 spare pillows (one to put my damaged arm on at night) but we were not given these and the owner had taken away the bedding for the double bed which we were not using. Sadly, these made our stay less than happy. The entrance to the property is through an area full of builders' rubble - not very attractive at all. This could have been tidied up at least.

nice apartment and nice city Vernon to visit for short trip. I can highly recommend this

very nice apartment. good equipped and with parking directly at house. with terrace. every room is air conditioned which was very good in the hot July.
