Happy Daze is a Luxury, waterfront duplex located in a quaint neighborhood in Orange Beach, Alabama.
Happy Daze is a four (4) bedroom four and a half (4 ½) bathroom east side duplex. The duplex boasts a private pool, waterfront views, an outdoor kitchen area, and a boat dock. ONLY the right (east) side of the duplex is available for rent. The left (west) side is a private residence and not for rent.
Adequate parking for two (6) vehicles maximum. No parking pass required. DO NOT park on the opposite side of the driveway or on the grass.
You must notify us prior to arrival if you are bringing a boat for the slip! Lift is not available!
There is a $50 fee for the slip!

The bottom floor is the main living area. The main floor has a living room with a large sectional couch and chairs with ottoman, a large HDTV, and coastal décor. The living/den area opens up to the kitchen with brand new stainless appliances, granite counter tops, and designer backsplash. Next to the kitchen is a dining area that completes the open floor plan and leads out to the back deck with waterfront and pool views. On the front side of the main floor is the downstairs primary bedroom with a King bed, HDTV, and a private bathroom with both a tile shower and jetted soaking tub.
Upstairs on the second floor you will find a second primary bedroom with King bed, HDTV, a private deck, and a private bathroom a tile shower and an clawfoot tub. The Bunk Room hosts two (2) twin bunks beds and a private bathroom. The Guest Bedroom across the hall has a Queen bed, HDTV, and a private bathroom.
Below the home is an outdoor kitchen with a Big Green Egg charcoal grill, barstool seating, and a wooden sing. The duplex shares a private pool with the private residence next door. There is a boat dock and this duplex is boat friendly. Feel free to bring your boat and dock it here.
*Please note, this duplex is located in private neighborhood with several full time residents. We ask that you consider this before booking. We do not allow loud music or parties at this home. The pool closes at 10PM each night for the consideration of the neighbors.
**The closet beach access is approximately two miles away at the Cotton Bayou Public beach access on Perdido Beach Blvd.**

BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:
• RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.
• NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.
• AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.
• CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.
• CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day
• MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.
• PARKING PASSES: Adequate parking for up to two (2) vehicles maximum. No parking passes are required. The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner's Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.
• CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.
• WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

Had a few small issues. When we arrived internet was not working but was fix quickly. The pool decking has some weeds growing up in the cracks. The Green egg was not cleaned.

We stayed for a week during a baseball tournament. The place was very clean and was conveniently located nearby all the restaurants. And the neighborhood was clean and calm.

The house was a great location and loved that each bedroom had its own bath! Pool and outdoor areas were an added bonus. Everyone also loved the games that were provided!!
A few things to know to expect or suggestions to change. We have stayed in several beach houses before. This was the first that did not include actual beach/swim towels so we had to go buy some. We had a group of 9. The house sleeps 12. Plenty of space. Only 2 trash bags were provided which is not much for a large group. We had to go buy trash bags. Not every bathroom had soap, shampoo, etc… but some did. Limited soap for the dishwasher and laundry is also provided but not much.

This is our second stay here. Last august and this august. The house needs some major attention! The air conditioners are not working properly. Downstairs, whether you put it at 72 or 76 it's freezing, the temperature inside was in the 60s, for sure. Sure I didn't mind, but someone else may! Upstairs the temperature could not cool enough. It was too warm! It was super hot outside; so that may be part of the problem. Possibly some lack of insulation. Both air vents had not been changed in too long! But the worst part is the condensation around each air vent. They were constantly moist and dripping. WITH DARK STAINs, some black, surrounding the vents. It appears to be mold, but not 100%. Something more simple, but needs to be addressed is the toilet paper holder in the downstairs bathroom. It doesn't stay attached. And a step on the back staircase wasn't screwed down. Major safety issue.
We didn't have any of these issues last year.
It appears the owners of this home either don't know about the deterioration from last year, or don't care.
I will say…. I called Beachball about these issues the night we checked in… and they responded and has someone come out and fix the step and change the air filters the next day. So I appreciated them being responsive.
