Amazing location! Experience the best of Colorado from our Longmont home that offers easy access to Boulder (25-minute drive), Denver (50-minute drive), Rocky Mountain National Park (1-hour drive), and Eldora Ski Area (1-hour drive). Longmont itself is a vibrant community with a thriving downtown area. You'll find over 20 breweries and distilleries, including Wibby Brewing, Dryland, and Copper Skies. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the five in-town golf courses, while outdoor lovers will enjoy the beautiful parks, such as Roosevelt Park with its stunning rose garden and Collyer Park with public tennis courts. Main Street is lined with rooftop restaurants, pubs, and breweries, including The Roost, Flavor of India, Long's Peak Pub, and The Pumphouse. And, with many of these attractions within walking distance, our home is the perfect base for exploring all that Longmont has to offer. Downtown Longmont is also host to various festivities throughout the year, including farmer's markets, parades, festivals, art walks, car shows, and seasonal events.
Pets are welcome! There are five dog parks in Longmont. There is also a really nice off-leash dog area at Union Reservoir, where pups can run free and play in the water. Most Longmont restaurants with patio seating welcome dogs and will bring them water (and sometimes treats) while you eat (Long's Peak, Lucille's, Cheba Hut, Bella Vita, Luna Cafe, Tangerine's, Dryland, Georgia Boy's BBQ, Wibby Brewing). The back fence isn't very tall or sturdy; please don't leave any dogs outside unattended. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs. The pet fee is $40/day (with a $250 maximum per stay). Additional fees for extra dogs will be determined on a case-by-case basis. There is a $300 penalty for not reporting that you are bringing a pet.
Children are welcome! There is a high chair and a pack 'n play in the front entry closet. There are children's books, games, and puzzles on the living room TV stand. Longmont offers many kid-friendly activities, including the rec center (gym, courts, indoor climbing wall, day camps, daycare while you work out, indoor pool with water slides), the Longmont Museum, Boulder County Fairgrounds (farmer's market, fun seasonal animal events), St Vrain tubing, Sunset Pool (outdoor, awesome water slides) and Get Air Trampoline Park!

Reviewer Comments:
Overall we were disappointed. The AC was temperamental. It was 80 degrees in the house when we arrived. The washer and dryer are in a basement. The steps leading down to the basement are very steep. I would not let my wife go down there. The toiletries were tiny little bottles of shampoo and conditioner and tiny bars of soap. Kitchen was not well stocked. Other than that it was ok. The train did not bother us.

We had a great stay visiting friends in Longmont following several nights up in Estes Park. The neighborhood is very walkable to the downtown area, and easy highway access if wanting to visit RMNP, Boulder, Denver area, etc. As some previous reviews have noted, the property is located about half a block from an active train track, but no one in our party had any issues sleeping through the sounds. All 3 bedrooms were equipped with white noise machines, if you're a lighter sleeper. The hot tub was a great perk after several days of hiking. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved the property, location and space the house provided. Couldn't be happier! Thank you

Clean and cute house but had NO AC for our stay which made things pretty miserable. We stayed during some hot days. House was 82 degrees during our entire stay and stuffy because every single window in the house is painted shut and unable to be opened. Property manager finally supposedly got an HVAC person out on 3rd day but didn’t communicate and house remained unchanged. Also offered some reimbursement but then didn’t send amount agreed upon.

We joined our 2 children and their spouses in Longmont to attend a family baby shower. The house was comfortable and accommodated our party of 6 very well.
Location near Downtown Longmont is walking distance to coffee shops and casual dining. Love Longmont and the house made together time so enjoyable.

Booked this location from Denver. Drove up for the weekend to enjoy Stout Month at Longs Peak Taphouse & Brewery. Also checked in at Wibby Brewing. The hot tub was nice to soak in after a long run on the St. Vrain Greenway Trail. House was spacious and bright. Would definitely book again.

A great property in a lovely neighborhood. Easy access to great restaurants and the larger Boulder area. Beautiful.

My husband and I with our two young children spent a week at the house. It was perfect for little children as they supplied a pack-n-play and highchair along with books, puzzles, and kids plates. The home was beautiful and the outdoor space was so nice to take advantage of in November. Close proximity to breweries, restaurants, and parks. It is also very close to the train which was exciting at times and slightly annoying at night when the train would blast its horn but any property that close to town would experience the same annoyance. Definitely would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at this property and loved the Longmont walkability. Lots of options! Below are a few pros and watch outs when booking this property.
Pro’s
- Great convenient location with tons of walkable restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Host had great write up’s and recommendations in the area.
- House Supplies- The house was stocked with everything we needed, including local coffee.
- Hot Tub- It was nice having a hot tub on the property. The tub was not clean for the first few days of our stay but was much better after the Wednesday weekly service.
Watch Outs
- Train Noise- The listing does mention active “historic” train tracks are nearby the property, however, we did not know these were freight trains, were a half a block away from the house and on average there were 5-10 trains coming through daily at all random hours (including 245am).
- Bugs- There was an infestation of box elder beetles with hundreds of them on the outside of the house and doors during our stay; many found their way inside the home as well. The property manager sent an exterminator and took care of the problem within two days. I get it’s that time of the year with bugs, but the property needs to stay on top of pest control.
- Windows- The house windows do not open at all and are painted shut. This was inconvenient when we wanted to open the kitchen window (cracked) when cooking or the bedroom windows at night to cool down the house.

We were in town for my daughter's wedding at Callahan house. The property was perfectly situated to take advantage of everything in downtown Longmont - we walked around whenever we had the chance. The house is a beautiful old house, all the woodwork detail from the time it was built. Great yard for the dog, great neighborhood for dog walks. Be aware you are near the railroad track, and freight trains run overnight. If you are light sleeper like me, the warning horn will wake you up.

None of us had ever been to CO before. The train was not as disturbing as I was worried about. The home was clean & close to so many shops & eateries.

The house was nice, great kitchen, although better couches are needed. very clean. loved the porch. The outside gardens were neglected; needed a lot of maintenance. Doggy doo doo bags in the back yard. yuk! garage was handy. LOTS of trains go through the neighborhood. Kind of loud but somehow entertaining. Would stay there again. Thanks!

Myself and my two coworkers greatly enjoyed our time at this house while we were in town for work for the week. It was very close to town and in a quiet (except for the train), charming neighborhood. There was plenty of living space to give the rest of our team an opportunity to get out of the office and let the creativity flow in a new location for an all-day meeting we hosted.
Check-in was a little stressful as the app said we would be provided the code at 3:45pm for a 4pm check-in, but once I landed after 6pm I realized I had still not received it (checked junk/spam too). Luckily they were quickly responsive via email and I was able to get the code right before I arrived from the airport. We were looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub, but it appeared to be cloudy/dirty which was disappointing, even after Wednesday, the listed cleaning day for it.
Overall this was a perfect location for a few people to stay for business or for fun. We enjoyed the yard quite a bit and would love to come back for the next work trip.

Loved this home! It was meticulously maintained and provided some wonderful amenities! Grandparents, parents and kids all loved it.
Backyard was gorgeous and a lovely place to hang out.
We did encounter one issue during our stay, but we received a quick response and it was resolved to our satisfaction.
We would absolutely stay here again.

As far as the cleanliness in the property itself and its amenities were very well done. Not the most comfortable bed but that goes when you stay anywhere pretty much. One thing that was disappointing is the hot tub was nonfunctional when we arrived and we did not get to use it during our stay. I would like to have had some action taken after informing the management that this was an issue. I got a very cold response pun intended. I believe that when you pay for amenities that are offered through descriptions of their property you should receive those for the value of what you say if you do not receive them there should be some form of reimbursement or at least an acknowledgment. But if that's the only thing I had to worry about on this day I feel okay.

Home was very clean, and absolutely stunning. The host was also very responsive to my many questions. It was perfect for 3 couples in town for the weekend.
They weren’t kidding about the train though, so if you’re a light sleeper I would recommend earplugs at night. We’ll definitely be back though.
