The location, the rooms, bed was comfortable, breakfast was amazing, use of pool and cocktail hour at sister property

A delightful breakfast greeted the morning with the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee and golden pancakes adorned with a drizzle of maple syrup. The table was set with a vibrant array of fresh fruits, creating a perfect symphony of flavors that lingered long after the last bite.
The noise in the room from the kitchen along with the radio station. For such a marvelous place and a fantastic breakfast experience, somo music should be played accordingly. Much more calm vibes would be more appropriate with the environment and the breakfast served.

Our stay at Sintra Marmoris Camelia exceeded our expectations! Apparently, the hotel used to be someone's private home and was recently renovated and converted to the Marmoris Camelia hotel. Our room was spacious and nicely appointed with thoughtful touches. A gorgeous glass decanter of port as well as local chocolates was displayed on a beautiful mirrored tray. The hotel itself was spotless, with marble stairs and floors polished to a tee.
Breakfast was a just as exceptional.

This was our first night in Portugal and it was perfect. The staff is so kind and helpful. The breakfasts are delicious and the rooms are extremely comfortable. We also loved the wine and cheese evening - so much fun with the staff at the sister hotel. Thank you!

The staff is amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is an absolute delight. The property is nice and the location can’t be beat!
There were two things that kept this from being a 10/10.
First, there is no door or barrier to where you shower and where the bed is. There is a door to the toilet, but the door is opaque, so you don’t feel like you have a lot of privacy. It’s also not soundproof.
Second, and this is more of a minor detail. But we try to always get Queen or King sized beds when we can. So, it’s always a little disappointing when the bed is actually two twins connected together. The beds were comfortable and the stay was nice, but it always feels like a little bit of a letdown.

Modern luxury with nice touches. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept on! It was nice to sleep with the window open for fresh air and to be cool (we visited in Jan). I like the fact it was just outside of the old town.
I can’t think of anything.

We loved everything about it…the location, the room, the huge marble bathroom, the seating area in our room, the breakfast, the fruit and chocolates in our room, and especially the staff.

Squeaky clean room with comfortable bed. We loved the welcomed drink, chocolate, and fruits, as well as a happy hour at the sister hotel with free wine, cheese, and performances. There was a fado show the evening we went.
Location suits our plan. Although it situates approximately 15 minutes walk to historic downtown, it closes to the train station where we just simply walk to catch the train back to Lisbon the next day.
The staff are super nice. They went out their ways to make sure we got everything we needed.
Bathroom. I didn't realize that there was no privacy as the bathtub just sat on the other side of the room without a door or curtain. We traveled in a group. So, whenever one of us wanted to take a shower, the other two had to leave the room.

Le petit déjeuner excellent, petite structure magnifiquement décorée, un personnel très attentif et agréable. Bonne literie.
Agencement de la chambre et de SdB inhabituel voir dérangeant.

Room for everything we brought and we pack a lot. Clean, almost opulent marble bath with a large soaking tub. Spacious, refined. Love the Camélia decor. Water, fruit and an aperitif refreshed daily included in your room. Friendly, warm staff.
The water pressure in our bathtub was abysmal. We had no hot water in the shower/tub for two days, due to a basement boiler leak. A 15% discount was applied.

Beautifully renovated old building. Nice big comfortable rooms.
Parking a nightmare. Only very limited metered (coins only) on street parking with numerous eager parking wardens. There is parking at a sister hotel that is a short walk but by road its a 4km drive down a Warren of one way streets and hills. Surely the hotel could ask the council to reserve a few street spaces at the hotel? Breakfast was served with enthusiasm but is a bit basic. Suggest they make it a buffet instead to avoid the need to ask for everything piecemeal.

The staff were very lovely and very helpful. They really cared about the well being of the guests. The breakfasts were amazing - everything was so fresh and care was taken in making the meals. I felt that there was a personal touch here that is not normally found in general hotels . The rooms were comfortable and very nice. Good beds. Nice liqueur in toom for guests.
Nothing I didn't like. All very good.

The hotel was so beautiful from the outside to the inside. Our room was gorgeous and has a beautiful view. Also it was in a great location, and at the same time it was quiet for resting. Their staff very friendly, we felt like home.

This charming little hotel is very well located, away from the noisy older part of town. The rooms are amazing, and the breakfast is fabulous and custom made for each guest. Staff is very helpful.
Not a huge problem, but it is preferable to know that no parking is provided at the hotel. They do have a sister hotel nearby where you can park, so all good

Breakfast was excellent. You order your food from a menu the day before, but you can order as many things as you want! Beautiful rooms! We booked two rooms and they were very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The bathroom was all marble and was beautiful, however in one of the rooms, the shower did not have an edge and water flooded the bathroom. The room had fruit and port wine replenished every day which was a nice touch. This was a very pretty hotel and we had a great stay! Close to all the shops and attractions in Sintra. The restaurant across the street was also excellent!
We had reserved two rooms and one only had one chair, even though the room was large enough to have a small couch - we would have appreciated this. The other room had a sofa which was nice. One appeal of this place was the ability to use the facilities (free parking, pool, and evening wine/cheese/entertainment) at their sister hotel in town. We had counted on this and would have appreciated knowing this was not possible during our stay when I booked it (less than a week before we arrived). We didn't find this out until we checked in, as the sister hotel had been completely reserved for a wedding.
