The house is nestled in a quiet, cozy little neighborhood. My wife and I were in Florida to visit friends and family in three directions from Ocala -- Gainesville, Deland, and Orlando. The location was perfect for being able to get to them, and then come back for our quiet little hideaway for the evening. The screened in porch was perfect for coffee in the morning, and some other beverage to wind the day down in the evening. Easy walking distance to a new Publix, or to downtown, where my wife spent her summers as a teen (many years ago!). We would (probably will) make it our home again the next time we're in Florida. Upon arriving at the property, we were greeted by neighbors next door who had a pit bull on a leash. This was alarming. The house set far back from the road. The yard and front porch were full of leaves which could be hazardous if wet. At first sight, I was afraid I made the wrong choice. This property can only accommodate one couple comfortably. The second couple needs to sleep on a pull out bed or couch. It was difficult to walk to town because of the lack of sidewalks on the street where the house is. This property is close to Silver Springs, the Santos Bike Trail (which is a fabulous 15 mile greenway for bike riding), and downtown Ocala (when driving). That was a positive. This property was clean on the inside. Amenities were good except for sleeping arrangements.

Centrally located house with everything we needed for a month in Ocala. Short drive to local attractions. Comfortable, well-stocked home with washer/dryer on site. Plenty of towels and bed linens. Quiet neighborhood. Would love to stay here again next time we visit the area.

Overall very pleased. Only concern was lack of blinds or heavier window treatment for dining area. At night with lights on complete view of inside the from the main road.

The Add says "Abounding with natural beauty and historic charm" The Reality is the neighborhood is dilapidated and in terrible condition. There are rundown and vacant houses with garbage and junk in the yards. Paint peeling off. And it says walk to the historic district. This is a stretch. Would not feel comfortable walking thru this neighborhood. We immediately reached out to VRBO and Evolve management co. They would not work with us as at all and left us with no response until the evening of the next day. I have stayed at many VRBO's and expect a certain standard. Beware of this property, I did not know this, but VRBO does not check on the neighborhood.

The house was spotless roomy and comfortable. The lanai was a perfect place to start and end your day. Much of the house looked newly renovated. Needs some reading lamps in the living room. We enjoyed visiting Ocala and would recommend this rental.

We enjoyed the spacious rooms and attached bathrooms to the two bedrooms. It felt very private being in a canopy of trees. Professional owner and nicely updated older home.

We loved the house. It was a spacious for our family of 4. It has everything you need to be comfortable for a short or a long stay. Great patio for evening meals. I will be booking here again. Lissy went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Thank you!!!!

Four doctoral students stayed for 4 days as we gathered with our cohort in Ocala. The wifi was great and consistent. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We really appreciated the extra pillows, blankets, and linens in the master closet. Blankets in the living room were musty and needed washing and the trundle bed should probably be pulled out each time corners come. It was dusty.

Cute house and great location to all things in Ocala! Well equipped with everything you need to feel at home away from home. We were five adults and were very comfortable for a two week stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if in the area.
