Nice breakfast and perfect location in the middle of nowhere
I did not enjoyed the little bugs and mosquitos but I understand this is hard to control due to the wild wonderful environment

The food was outstanding, the service was good, and the communication/flexibility pre-arrival was wonderful. The treehouse was a unique experience.

We were in the room "lagune 4" which one of the rooms right on the bank and the furthest from the property center where there is the restaurant pool and reception, this room specifically has its own privacy,
It is a calm and peaceful place that takes you away from all the stress you'll have from your professional life.
I didn't like that the shower was equipped with hot water, so if you need to take a hot shower, you'll have to ask for it, and they will bring it in a bucket ( but it was a good experience !).
And for the people who are a little complicated, they will have difficulty eating there because they have the chef's suggestions for all the meals and no other choices.

The location is amazing, both the place as the way the lodge has been built.
The pool is also well integrated, and the food is a good mix between African taste and French style.
Not having anyone speaking English (at that level of price) is difficult to consider "normal" nowadays.
Also, the way the yenes excursion was managed was quite strange: 90 minutes waiting seating in the brusse, to see nothing, then back in the darkness while the route would have been very nice.

This is a beautiful location. It really is very serene and wonderfully laid out to be at one with nature. Our room was overall excellent and very comfortable. The staff were mostly lovely and helpful. We had our breakfast taken to our room in the morning where we could watch the sunrise in the morning right from our balcony.
Some of the infrastructure is old and needs updating. I appreciate that a lot of the ambience of the property is low key. However unfortunately one of the boards on our balcony broke whilst I was walking on it resulting in a fall where I broke one of my toes. The person who I assumed to be the manager did not seem to be very bothered about this. the board was replaced but there was little attempt to check on my wellbeing and no attempt to offer any form of compensation. There were an awful lot of mosquitoes, which I understand is to be expected. However, it was impossible to use the pool or to sit in the welcome lodge due to the sheer number of bites we would receive in only a few minutes. Even some citronella candles or something might improve this.

Such a wonderful and peaceful stay in a Robinsin treehouse. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We booked our excursions fro the front desk. The meals were absolutely amazing! The best part was just sitting on the deck, looking out over the delta, and listening to the birds. Magical place and the highlight of our trip to Senegal.

We loved staying in the Baobab Treehouse, the feeling of sleeping with the birds above in the ancient tree. The room was very cosy and the terasse a had a fabulous view. The pool was very refreshing and super tidy, also the chill area next to it.
The breakfast was very basic (bread with bread and jam), no fruits even though in the next village everyone is selling fresh mangoes (during the season we visited). The dinner menu was experimental but lacked a bit overall the flavour. Just a grilled fish or mafé would have been tastier.

the treehouse accommodations are beautiful! Mine had a small balcony with a hammock, table, and chairs. I felt like I was sitting with the birds and enjoyed the calming atmosphere of silences except bird songs.
dinner was amazing!
mosquitoes. the property is situated next to what is basically a large body of still water. I couldn’t sleep because, despite having a mosquito net, I was stung all night long. the room was hot with only a stand up fan to cool it.
the pool was dirty- covered in feathers and bugs
the breakfast wasn’t remarkable. lunch was not included
no activities were included and there wasn’t much to do on site.

Location was lovely and quiet and that was probably the only good part of our stay.
They didn't give us our river view room and didn't care that they put us in the wrong room. Basically a sucks for you attitude and no remorse or offers to fix or help the situation.
There were mice droppings on the bed when we arrived.
There were mice in the roofing of both rooms that were so loud all night, neither rooms slept.
They didn't give us the wifi after they quickly checked us in and left for the night.
Mosquitos filled both rooms and especially the bathrooms making them miserable to use.
Overall a horrible experience. It was obvious from the lack of hospitality that it was not Senegalese owned.

- the location is awesome, really. Kind of small paradise
- the different rooms are amazing (hut in a baobab, on the water, etc.)
- personnel very friendly and willing to help
- nice activities to discover the country side
- i enjoyed the very good food
- very nice and interesting conversations with the director
- the location is quiet, calm and preserved, I loved it.
In a nutshell, I will return to this place!😀
- nothing, but you have to be ready to live with some animals in your hut: geckos, bats… if the rooms were not occupied for a while. Was my case, due to Covid, no tourists in Sénégal

This place is absolutely magical, surrounded with peace, birds and nature. We watched the most beautiful sunset and sunrise from our tree house and water hut and swam with bioluminescent plankton at night. The owner was extremely kind, welcoming and accommodating, including adapting the food menu to some of our diet restrictions and making sure we had the best stay possible.
