Very friendly helpful hosts who provided useful information on walking routes in the area.
Electric sockets in some strange places

Fantastic location with access to superb walking routes. Cabin is cosy. Friendly welcome. Hosts were unobtrusive but helpful.
It would have been even better if towels were provided.

The property is well located in the countryside with a great view.
Everything is available to have a good stay
Heating system is quite efficient!
Little attention/gift on the first day, thanks
The bathroom is really too small, not easy at all.
The noise of the rain on the metal roof is too strong at night .... best is to come with a nice weather only ;-)

Our chalet was great, clean and very functional. The view from the chalet was magnificent and the surrounding nature was very peaceful. We even saw deer one evening.
The wood stove was cozy and ridiculously effective in heating all the space. We found it very romantic. The kids loved their room, with the bunk beds. The kitchen was perfectly sufficient for cooking, which we did, every day.
Our hosts were very kind, welcoming and discreet. Overall, a great place.
We loved the location but you should be aware that it was a bit far from the nearest village, Thiezac (approx 10 min driving in narrow forest roads). This was not a problem for us, because we went out only once-twice each day for skiing and visiting nearby villages. But if you expect/need to do multiple trips per day, the time quickly adds up.
The only thing that we missed was access to a washing machine (for kids clothes). The nearest one we could find was in Murat, about 30min driving away. It would have been great to have a laundromat within the property or in a closer location.
