We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fern Cottage. This place was everything I had hoped for, and more. It's very charming, and her decor is beautiful and fun.
Our family of five was very comfortable in this home, and had space to spread out. We were provided with all of the amenities that we could have needed. My adult kids even had fun playing the piano in her dining room.
One night, we enjoyed barbecuing and eating dinner in the adorable back patio. We also loved having the pub next door. We honeslty never heard noise or disturbances from them during our stay, and we loved the easy convenience of popping in for a drink or two. The staff & patrons were always very friendly.
This cottage was also located across the street from a market. It was great that we could easily walk there for snacks & breakfast items. We were also within a short drive to Bath & Bristol. The location is honestly ideal.
My only regret is that we didn't extend our trip so that we could stay a few more nights. I would absolutely return to Fern Cottage if given the opportunity.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage that has all the needed essentials except a microwave oven. Great to have the Coop store across the street, and although walkable restaurant options are limited, we enjoyed the Chinese takeout just a couple minutes away.

Fern Cottage is delightful. It really felt like we had rented a cottage like in The Holiday. Communication with Christina was brilliant too, even on Christmas day!
Highly recommended

We booked this cottage just a few weeks ago as a suprise to take my elderly mother away for the weekend. The communication ftom Christina was probably the best i have had. She was helpful, informative and kind.
The location of the property is fab bei g between Bath, Bristol and Wells so a great place for visiting all these places. The cottage is next door to a pub but you dont know its there as there os no noise and in fact when we went next door for a drink we were made very welcome its a proper local with a pool table. Theres also an excellent italian restaurant about 10 mins walk from the cottage and a coop right across the road so its absolutely perfect.
Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Really lovely house. Kitchen very well stocked which makes a change from places stayed in before. So handy to have cookjng oil, clingfilm etc. There was even a drawer with lightbulbs, batteries, fire lighters etc incase anything went. We didnt need to use but appreciate the thoughtfulness of this.
Beautiful bath! Some low doorways which my 6ft + son struggled with a bit but adds to character of property.
There is a pub next door which isnt mentioned on listing but didnt affect us at all. Not noisy, parking ok all week and when we walked past people where friendly.
Really enjoyed our stay. Local Greyfield woods was a nice little find with a small waterfall.
Host was very good to communicate with and checked in on us. Would recommend.

The cottage was lovely with everything we needed.
The rooms were a good size and the bathroom super.
The garden was pretty and had plenty of seating and a fire-pit however there was no mention that I could see of the fact that the cottage was next door to a pub.
It would have been nice to have known this in advance.

Short but wonderful stay for only two nights. Owner was very responsive when I couldn’t get my VRbO app to open for directions. House was clean and as described. Had a pleasant stay, enjoyed an evening by the fire and another in the garden. Had everything we needed for cooking, etc. Wish I knew more about the history of the house, so many stories it could tell. Would stay here again!
