Our family enjoyed the cabins very much. The only downside was the barking dogs.

Beautiful peaceful property with a clean cabin.
Fun having the airport close by to watch the planes take off and land.
It was mostly quiet except for at night when a large group of dogs would bark. Weather was cool so we could close the windows and were able to sleep.
We had an amazing time making memories with our family at Talcott’s Landing.

We loved our stay here. The cabins had everything we needed. We went with my brother’s family and the layout was perfect.
And we saw so many deer!!

As we drove through the "neighborhood" getting closer to the cabin, we started to wonder if we made a good decision. The private airstrip reslly threw us off.Once we arrived however, our concerns disappeared. We just were expecting to be more secluded. As we settled in though we felt at ease. The view from back deck is amazing! Better chairs & some loungers would make more sense to capitalize on that view. Cabin was very comfortable. We didnt miss TV at all. Wifi worked perfectly. We did hear dogs barking a little during the day. No big deal. At night however, it souded like maybe coyotes would start & then dogs would join in. So we couldn't leave windows open at night & sleep. Cabin still stayed comfortable. No need for A/C. We loved the story of the cabins & homey feel. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are steep & narrow so be mindful when deciding who sleeps up there, & wether they need to make frequent trips to the bathroom below. No issues at all with power or hot water. Appliances were updated & worked well. The only issue was not knowing what to do with trash. There was full trash when we arrived & we had to leave full trash. We just put the bags in the other cabin til we left. No dumpster around that we knew of.
We loved the walk to the creek below and regular deer visits. A quiet neighborhood. Perfect for large families with the 2 cabins.

This is a beautiful property! The views of the mountains are gorgeous! Cabins are well maintained. It was nice having the two places since my son and his wife have a nine month old. The extra cabin worked well. The only downside is the mattresses. They could use some toppers. Otherwise a great place.

This is a perfect location for a couple traveling with an adult child & spouse or two couples traveling together. The two separate cabins give everyone their own space.
There’s something about stepping away from the overstimulation of everyday life and reminding yourself of how little you actually need to be happy, this place was a perfect location to do that!
You can feel the warm, welcoming vibe from the minute you step through the front door. Thankful to the owners for sharing the experience of their little piece of heaven.

Beautiful area
The area of the cabin was beautiful. Lots of barking dogs every night, which is a pain because you need to leave the windows open at night when it’s hot. No check in or check out instructions listed on Vrbo, thus no idea what our responsibilities were. No cellular or Wi-Fi. Cellular would only allow to send text messages. Assuming this is some thing with the airport next-door. But would’ve been good to know that we wouldn’t be able to make calls or have Wi-Fi.
Very small parking area. Difficult for truck and a boat. Scenery is beautiful. The sound of the creek is beautiful when the dogs were barking. Property was mainly clean. Lots of dead flies and bugs in windows and doors and on edges of beds, fairly normal for a cabin but didn’t expect it when everything else was so clean. Couldn’t contact the manager from the property as we had no cellular coverage. Beautiful place though.
