Their second floor is like going into the dungeon. Your view is depressing - bushes or the parking lot!

I am giving a very low rating due to the extremely poor experience my family and I had during our stay at the Hilton Hotel in Zurich from July 9 to July 11.
We booked and expected to stay at the Hilton Hotel in Zurich, but upon arrival, we were given accommodation at a different hotel down the hill, named Apart Hotel. This was not what we booked for, and we were simply told to come to the Hilton for breakfast. This bait-and-switch tactic was unacceptable.
To make matters worse, we were locked out once and had to walk up the hill at night to reactivate our card key at the Hilton. The Apart Hotel had no staff available after 9 p.m., leaving us helpless and frustrated. My wife and daughter had to sit on the floor for 30 minutes outside our room until I was able to reactivate the keys by walking up the hill to the Hilton.
The entire experience was very bad. The Hilton staff were unfriendly and showed no empathy or justification for moving us to a different hotel. My children also had a very bad experience due to these issues.
Upon checkout, we inquired about a refund and were assured that our case would be reviewed and we would hear back within 1-2 days. It has now been a week, and we have received no communication from the hotel.
This stay was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very dated, needs renovation and the food breakfast was very average and expensive.

Everything was great!

Had a great experience, comfortable stay, great breakfast and dinner options, and friendly staff.

Fine rooms, rude and arrogant staff in the lobby. Breakfast was good. Expensive shuttle to the airport.
5.0
Restaurant was noisy, but the wait staff was very kind, multi-lingual and wonderful.

The staff were rude and the room was not clean with issues.

Avoid at all cost, unless you want to be taken back to the year of 2001 with its questionable decor and terrible wifi. The rooms are a long walk from the lobby (which is ok, except the key cards kept failing so we had to walk all the way to the lobby and get a new one (this happened several times). While getting a new key the lobby staff made no apologies and one time laughed as we walked away.
The wifi is not good enough for any kind of work and it stopped working completely on the last day. Worst experience at a Hilton I have ever had and one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in years—and I spend 140-160 nights a year in hotels.
The shuttle to the airport in the morning gets very crowded and you might have to wait for the next one. Or Uber as we had to.
To give credit where credit is due the breakfast was good and the staff friendly and helpful and the staff at the bar was lovely.
Please do yourself and tour wallet a favour and avoid this run-down hotel.

This review is strictly for the restaurant manager for Hilton Zurich Airport. I visited the restaurant on June 30th at around 7pm. I had a baby milk bottle with me and I was inquiring if the milk could be warmed up for the baby (my room did not have a microwave). The manager intervened and very rudely informed me that they weren't able to do so. I tried asking if there was a microwave in a common area that I could perhaps use. He again bluntly said no and left me on my own to figure the problem out. While I understand there could be hotel policies on not handling outside food for guests, I feel like the behavior shown by this manager was unwarranted. There was no effort on his part to assist in any manner. It was almost like he was annoyed that I even spoke to him on this topic. For reference, everyone at the front desk and other restaurant staff were nothing but courteous and extremely professional. Everyone else that we interacted with were full of empathy and tried to make things easy for us when they saw that we are traveling with a baby. So this manager definitely stuck out due to his despicable behavior. May be he has some unconscious biases when talking to people of color and these need to be addressed. He is not a fit for the hospitality industry, even less so for a manager level position.

Paid 29 CHF for breakfast at hotel but discovered hair in the baked beans, very disappointing.

It is close to airport but far from the downtown. But, the hotel staff provided a day train pass to go to see the downtown. Nothing around the hotel.

This is a business hotel. The hourly shuttle between the hotel and Zurich airport is convenient, but it is free only from the airport to the hotel; a return to the airport costs 7Fr. The room had a slightly musty odor. The shower floods the bathroom floor if you are not careful. The restaurant has a limited menu. No shops within walking distance.

Very simple property. I did like the room was very spacious.

Little outdated but still a acceptably hotel. Some reception employees from eastern Europe are very unmotivated ( but not all ).
I was there twice during a period of three month and it looks like they have to count every penny ( or Swiss Rappen ) .Meanwhile there is nothing free in the rooms - recently they even placed two cheap water bottles for 4,50 CHF !!! ( at least this was free three months ago ). Also, they charge 45 CHF for each dog - but it`s just because they allow a dog in the hotel. There is no water bowl or anything what justifies this fee ( my dog is cleaner then some guests I saw there ... ).
Its good located, close to the airport but still close to the nature.

A couple nice dining options a few minutes walk away. Thought it might be loud from planes but really didn’t hear them in room and slept well. Staff was super nice. Would stay here again.

Good for a night close to the airport

The beds were hard for a Hilton hotel. The first night we had dinner at the hotel our kids ate off of the kids menu. The second night, the wait staff was oblivious saying they didn’t have a kids menu. The front desk staff was oblivious about charges that were charged in the middle of the night during my stay and didn’t provide a clear explanation for them. There wasn’t much around the property so you need to venture into downtown Zurich to find things to do. We will not be staying at this hotel again nor would we stay here again even if it was more affordable than other hotels of similar rating.

Loved this property! It was really great.

The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located near the airport and bus station.
The staff are very nice and flexible. However, I have a significant concern regarding my room assignment. I was moved three times after making complaints.
The first room I received had a broken bed. The second room provided had a single bed, even though my reservation was for a queen-size bed.
When I raised this issue again, the reception manager was very understanding and upgraded me to a better room, which made my stay much more comfortable. Thank you for addressing my concerns.

The hotel is good. Close to the airport and 10 minutes from Zurich using the train S7.
Breakfast and food can be found close in Opfikon.
Overall good stay, no complaints.
5.0
Convenient place to stay. Restaurant had great food, although the service was lacking. Seemed there were a lot of wait staff in training and/or short staffed. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Don't forget to purchase your shuttle ticket for your trip back to the airport!

The furniture is quite retro ( what I like ), but a bit worn, friendly personal and only the room cleaning was horrible. Some guests before me obliviously spit against the curtain and there was a ugly stain left, no bedding changed albeit I laid the notification on the bed, used coffee creamer was not replaced ... :-( Albeit I asked to remove this stain /curtain it nothing happened even on the next day ( albeit it was promised ). The rooms are quiet and the surrounding area is perfect for walking.

Very accommodating staff…excellent food …nice hotel

Stayed here for a couple of days earlier this month. Service was terrible, no courtesy towards customers, stuff aren’t professional (except employees who worked at the bar, they were great). Tried calling room service, room dining and front desk on different occasions, never once my calls were answered during this stay. Wouldn’t recommend this property at all.

Difficulty to find food nearby hotel

Some of the rooms (mine) are a very long walk from the lobby, past conference rooms being set up for a Christmas party. Room had missing light bulb and stopper in sink wasn't attached properly. When we went to the restaurant to get dinner we were asked if we had a reservation, something I have never heard of at an airport hotel. We were seated however after a few moments. Another pair were turned away it seemed and it was never even half full. The shuttle costs 6chf to leave the hotel so you are kind of trapped. Please note if the shuttle is full you just have to wait and fight to be first in line for the next one. They will refund your ticket price and call a cab for you but that is at your own expense.

I stay in hotels regularly and it’s the only place that’s charged for in room bottled water. In the small print as well. Greed!
2.0
Dated, stuffy rooms, terrible pillows, old bathrooms, shower in bath and grey hard very well used towels, soap, shampoo terrible cheap and poor quality. Small water in room was 4 CHF, no complimentary water. Didn’t know what an Americano coffee was and got carved 5 CHF for a luke warm expresso.
5.0
Great place to stay as a pre-flight lodging option to make your departure the next morning stress free and convenient.
4.0
For the exorbitant price and the Hilton name, expected much more. It seemed like there were several sides of the hotel - I was put in the more run-down and remodeled part of the hotel - which was dated and simply an older hotel remodeled. Stay was very average and acceptable, but the pictures misdirect you. Breakfast was $39 pp and was below average.
