Note everything we found amiss was corrected at checkout, but the property/rooms are VERY tired. Woodwork in the room is worn, nicked, missing varnish. The desk chair was torn.
Valet gave us incorrect number to call for car.
Broken in room: coffee maker.
Broken in room: bedside electrical outlets.
Missing: hand towels, bath mats.
I love the convenience of Hotels.com, but had I gone direct with hotel, I could have chosen the same price room with parking included in price ($59).
We could have stayed at Sofitel at same price, and better value/maintained property.

Property was tired. Needs renovation
Arrived in room and beds were not made. Had to move to another room
Electrical sub par for this price hotel. Outlets on desk did not work.

I was given a different room than I had booked, despite requests made related to a disabled guest (my mother.) Majority of people working front desk area were unsmiling, unfriendly, and seemingly unconcerned. I had an issue with a strange man sitting on the floor in our hallway, getting up to follow me towards my room, and then standing right in front of my door after I went inside. Called front desk who said they’d send up security. 15 mins later, still shaking, I called back to follow up and they told me “security didn’t see anyone up there.” Oh well, I feel better and totally safe now.
The price we paid for this place was absurd considering the service received. Rooms were fine, clean enough, but also not worth the $$$. Housekeeping + maintenance staff were lovely —truly the only redeeming quality.
No one in my family will back to the Warwick.

A little shabby. I thought an alarm was going off when the A/C started up. Bathroom was pretty run down - tub and fixtures were cracked/worn. Tile moldy in places.
Good space in the room - large for a city hotel room.

I've stayed here many times of the years and in the past two years the experience has been below average. The rooms and facilities are showing their age. Staff is also no longer responsive, helpful, or friendly.

The public areas of the hotel are beautiful! However the sleeping room is not great. The bathroom is tiny, only 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel. No wash cloth. Toilet paper was hard to find. Make up mirror was hanging off the wall by a thread. Odd living area behind the TV. It was odd.

Always a favorite. Reception had a rough day with computer down. Did the best they could. Very helpful. Maintenance engineer also tried, but couldnt fix HVAC. Quickly found an upgraded room. Cafe a disappointment. Would still recommend a stay highly. Morroccan restaurant next door excellent. Whole area perfect for everything.

The tub didn’t drain, so by the time you finished your shower, the water would be at your shins. The air conditioning did not work. No one was at the front desk upon our early morning check-out. I found one employee and when I asked if there were any bell carts available, he said “not really.” He followed that up by saying employees are busy working right now. But there was no one at the front desk. This was about 4:30am. Terrible customer service in that instance. I chose to stay here because of the location in rittenhouse square but I will never stay here again. Terrible experience.

Very nice location with good shopping and dining.

Abysmal customer service and quality of rooms. I had a two night stay in August. Air conditioning did not work night one, and it was hot. I called down in the morning and reported it; reception said they'd send someone, and I left to go about my day. When I returned late evening, the air conditioning was still not working and there was no indication anyone had entered room to fix it. Strike one. I called reception again, who apparently had no record of my having reported it earlier, and again said they'd send someone--the same thing I was told twelve hours earlier. A technician came in 30 min later, fiddled with the AC, said it was fixed and left. But it wasn't fixed. So no air conditioning throughout the entire stay, in mid-August. Strike two.
When checking out, I reported this and asked the hotel to make it right, since I paid for an air-conditioned room, not a sweaty sauna. The receptionist said the manager was out that day, but she took my phone and email address and said the manager would contact me. I was never contacted. Strike three.

Front desk people are rude
Tried to get more soap to shower and no one brought it up
Rooms are halfway renovated and half the things are old and dont work including the thermostat/AC
Valet is $59 per day and a random $17 fee is charged daily
Not worth it

My room had an unsanitary smell. I tried to find ice on my floor and the ice maker was out of order. I went one floor up and it was also out of order. I went to the front desk and was told I needed to go to the 4th floor. My view was awful and when I went to close the blinds, there were filthy.

Old furniture and outdates room styling.
Dont be fooled by the modern lobby.
Great staff.

Room is barely maintained. Old furniture with a poorly efficient AC.

Steve, the doorman, was great. I loved chatting with him.

Our room, the hallways, and fitness center were so worn out and in desperate need of improvement and renovation. Thankfully beds were comfortable and linens were clean and fresh, but we were disappointed in the state of everything else. Front desk was not helpful.

The room had used towels hanging in the bathroom and did not have soap or body wash for the shower. The night table was broken as was the make-up mirror. The carpet was lumpy as if uneven flooring was underneath.

The staff was great. Room was beautiful. Food amazing. The hidden charges were upsetting. They charged for parking but never told me they were going to charge. They tacked on all these hidden charges when you show up to check in. Be prepared a $225.00 a night room turned into $342.00

Overall this hotel was a disappointment.
The pluses: Very nice location, front desk people were friendly, but not particularly effectual.
The cons: Upon checking in a large section of the carpet was soaking wet. Wet enough that I was concerned that the next door room might have a leaky pipe (the area was nowhere near my room's bathroom). I called to front desk and was told they would check it and I placed a chair in the area so I wouldn't walk through the wet area (again!). No one came to check. Next morning I mentioned it at the front desk and they said they would check. When I returned to my room no one had been there (the chair was in the exact same spot) and the room had not even been serviced. The wet area had dissipated (but was still damp), leading me to believe it was not a leak but that the prior occupant had spilled a lot of liquid on the floor, it happens, but not having anyone check was annoying. By the morning of my checkout the room was smelling a little musty, which made sense.
In addition I was told that we would receive a $10/day credit for the hotel shop, but upon checkout my bill indicated no such credit and my card was charged. I have emailed them twice for clarification and 5 days later have not heard back.
I would not stay at this property again. This was a business trip so I was not paying myself or I would have been much more unhappy.

Very comfortable, staff was very attendant and sweet. Clean premises and really good stay overall.

Only one bath towel for two people.

Room was large and comfortable. Terrific shower and products. Great mattress. Furnishings starting to look worn out however. Toilet in lobby not functioning right. Our 4:00 checkin was delayed- not please. Mislead about parking discount which only covered first night.

It was an amazing room. Robert, the representative was great to work with, he was extremely helpful. I will definitely return to this property because of the quality service he provided me with during my stay.

Very comfortable bed, great location, clean. Service was lovely. I do wish the beds had thicker covers but that is my sole complaint. Would definitely stay again.

Great location with lots of restaurants and shopping around and close to Rittenhouse Square. Hotel lobby is beautiful, quick check in and check out, room was oversized and even had a couch. There’s some updating needed like peeling paint but it’s clean and nice and would stay again

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The front desk staff are very kind and professional. I love that they have a snack stand and cooler where you can purchase beverages. I am obsessed with the Philly themed headboard for the bed! Such a nice touch!! Free WiFi! The only negative I have, the side table on my side of the bed was completely broken. It absolutely should be replaced but it seems they ignore that.

First room was dirty but this was quickly rectified with a new room. Second room was clean but a little creepy. Loud AC - legs on sink very rusty. Bed was comfortable. This hotel was in a great location with a beautiful lobby but overpriced and the kicker is a creepy parking garage that is $50 a night. Would not stay again.

****PLEASE READ…….Internet Pictures are deceiving****NEVER AGAIN , THIS IS THE WORST PROPERTY I HAVE EVER STAYED IN****…All Emphasis is put on the Lobby……When you arrive you learn there is a hotel fee of $17 that they credit you back $10 to use in their gift shop…..there is also a $50 parking fee- The parking garage is down a dark, filthy alley way, which takes you to a small dark, dirty parking area, “HORROR SHOW”…..should you require access to your car you are placed in a nasty freight elevator to your car, I was shocked keys are left in car with windows down, unbelievable. The entrance from the garage to the hotel looks like the staff entrance. When picking up our car the next day we where placed on the freight elevator the staff member drove the car on the elevator with us in it “I screamed the entire way down with my eyes closed. The rooms are OLD, the furniture is scratched looks like it has been there since the building in 1928 the vanity in the bathroom is RUSTY, NO ROOM SERVICE even though when you call room service the answering machine says we are busy with other customers. There are too many hotels around DO NOT STAY HERE.

Short notice had to stay in Philly. Very quiet for being in town and close to everything!

We enjoyed the stay at the hotel, it was clean with large room. It is in a good location for shopping and dining. My issue was the card keys which kept being demagnetized. I am talking 5 times in less than one day. Obviously there was an issue but it made for the stay very inconvenient with having to go to the front desk multiple times before being able to get in the room. Otherwise it is a beautiful older hotel.

Beds are very firm and the air conditioning didn’t even touch how hot it was outside. The property was so humid and muggy I couldn’t even sleep that night. The air conditioning however did seem to have no problem working down in the lobby area. Not to mention our room was missing essential items and we had to keep calling to request them.

Hotel is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful!

We have stayed here many times and the hotel staff is excellent. This time, check-in was fast and friendly but when i got to the room, it was not ready, the bed was unmade, dirty towels on the floor and the temp was over 80degrees. This was quickly rectified by the front desk and i was immediately moved to a different room which was fine. The room a little too warm and the hallways on the 12th floor were excessively warm (outside temp was well over 90 degrees) and I believe there was a problem with the AC, but this was never mentioned by the staff. I don't know if this problem was affecting all of the floors or just the 12th floor. The condition or the room was somewhat worn and in need of an upgrade. This is still a good place to stay, but they need to do some renovation and upgrading to get back to standard I'm used to for this location. I'm not sure we will choose the Warwick for our next stay in Philly, but I wouldn't rule it out.
