We decided to book an extra night because we loved being there so much. The restaurant inside the hotel is phenomenal, and the restaurant fantastic. All the employees on site were amazing and so helpful and friendly and gave us little tips and tricks to get around on our stay.

A beautiful hotel with great service by the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and made our stay memorable and we will definitely be back.

On two occasions at the front desk, there was only one person there, and this caused a somewhat longer than desired wait time.

The body wash was empty

2nd time staying here. Great spot for those attending events downtown. All venues are walkable. Staff was friendly. Check in and check out were seamless. Hotel was clean.

My husband and I took a weekend trip to the Cleveland Westin to see the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame. The hotel is perfectly located. It’s a short walk to all the cool attractions and restaurants. The hotel is well kept, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We ate dinner in the Mexican restaurant, the food is incredible. The wait staff is amazing as well. We also had breakfast in the hotel, and everything was fresh. The only complaint that I have, we paid $250 a night for our room. Which was fair, but that’s not the complaint. The parking garage!! We paid enough to stay at the establishment, and then to pay $75 to park in there is ridiculous. Not to mention the parking garage is atrocious. The spaces are very narrow, anyone with a larger vehicle is going to have a hell of a time. Other than that, I would recommend staying here. Just bring extra money for parking, and a teeny tiny vehicle.

Check in was great! We were upgraded to a "premium room" and the room was nice overlooking the city! A microwave in the premium room would have been nice though. The dining in the bar/restaurant left us with more to be desired: the appetizers could include a little more protein options. At dinner I ordered beans and rice and had to return it due to the rice being super crunchy. The breakfast was great however I was not made aware there was a buffet that we could have enjoyed. Overall, we had a great stay though.

Good location, friendly staff but VERY outdated rooms. The furniture, carpet, paint (very chipped), light switches, etc are all very very old and tired.
Our room was to come with a mini fridge but it was a small beverage/wine fridge that didn’t work. Staff did quickly bring a replacement fridge. It was a proper mini fridge but was very tired looking and had to sit on the floor in the room but it did work.
I had assumed like all other hotels I’ve stayed at there would be a microwave but there was not.
The room was large but that’s the only positive to say.
The location is good for walking to football and hockey/basketball venues as well as rock and roll hall of fame and the casino.

Our trip was amazing! They upgraded our room and we had a great view!

I enjoyed everything but the bathroom it is screaming for an update. The door is very very heavy and the tile is disgusting.

I had booked a king bed room, added a cot, for a wedding. We were unable to check in 17 minutes early, and because of the line at 4pm, had to wait until after the wedding.
We were given a room with 2 queen beds. This room was also meant to be an adjoined room, and shared a door with the neighboring room. These neighbors were incredibly loud all night, and because of the shared door, we could hear every word.
We were kept up for the majority of the night.

When we checked in the woman at the desk wasn’t very friendly. It was a busy weekend with several concerts and a baseball game. The hotel ran out of snacks and drinks in there. They never refilled them. I asked the desk clerk for cutlery(plastic was fine). He said they ran out the other day and the restaurant was closed. He simply didn’t care.
The made knocked on our door at 9:00 am Sunday morning then again at 10:00 am. She wanted us out even though check out was 11:00. She never apologized or offered an explanation.
While the property was nice I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

I love the Westin! When I learned Billy Joel/Rod Stewart would be performing at Cleveland Brown’s Stadium, back in January of this year, I immediately bought tickets. Knowing what a major event this would be, I decided to book a hotel stay, so I wouldn’t have to worry about driving home that night. The Westin was a short, 14 min. walk to the stadium. The staff at the Westin, Downtown Cleveland, were all very welcoming and friendly. Our room was ready when we arrived at 3:30 pm. We were on the 14th floor, which gave us a pretty view of Cleveland at night. Everything was perfect; the weather, the Westin, and the concert!

No hot water in shower, noisy all night due to poor insulation feom hallway noise and dog barking in room nearby, bed mediocre, tv remove was gross- should be burned. Mold in bathroom, very weird banquet seating thing in room that was as comfy as a wooden bench. Overall, terrible

Poor in every aspect. Poor staff service and attitudes, no hot water in the shower, no airport shuttle, etc etc. No greeting upon check in, desk staff acted like i was inconveniencing them. Other staff yelling expletives at each other in the hallway. Just bad.

It is a beautiful place and we were treated well - when we saw people face to face. We had a problem with people getting setting in the next room and no one would pick up the phone when we called for help. It took us to almost 2 am for them to get security to speak to those people. When I went to the front desk, there were two people sitting there talking…. Why wouldn’t they answer?

You couldn’t ask more from their staff. Attentive, caring, and had an overall care for your stay. I believe Tiffany checked us in (she was wonderful!) keep up the great work! Definitely will be back!!!

My only complaint would be the almost $40 self parking on a parking garage that really needs a make over, and its so tight. On another note we had a very smooth check in, even received a complimentary room upgrade, we chose the city view and were on the 20th floor. Our room felt very clean, clean hallways, and our dining experience was very pleasant. My husband and I will be back.

There’s just an overall attitude with staff from front desk to valet to restaurant that wasn’t at the high level of customer service I’ve seen at other Westins

If you look at corner mirror, in both sides looks like greasy fingers and hand prints. Sitting on the couch or bed u can see lots of prints , and left side of bed, mirror has hand prints all over! One pillowcase had black marks, probably eye makeup, called in the morning for breakfast room service, phone was broken (no problem cause if last guest didn’t let you know, then you wouldn’t know,)called from my cell, but when I called down explaining to front desk lady that our phone isn’t working, she was at first apologizing n sent us over to the restaurant for room service, restaurant sure was busy, which I totally understand, but when I called back to front desk and again explaining that phone doesn’t work, but restaurant isn’t picking up, front desk clerk got all nasty easing her voice saying, WELL MRS, IF THE RESTAURANT DIDNT PICK UP THEN THERE BUSY N YOU NEED TO COME DOWN N GET UR OWN BREAKFAST! The reason we got this hotel, both husband and I were there for business and I had broken my leg , so ur site says room service, so telling me I have to come get my breakfast, was unacceptable, we go to Cleveland at least 7 times a year. Being our other attorney associates recommended your hotel , and top it off valet damage our car and still waiting for a return call.

$37 additional per night for parking was a surprise, and the couple that were yelling at each other and letting their door slam over and over until about 3AM were the worst parts. Aside from that, the Westin is always clean, spacious, and looks nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can tell they're picky about their staff.

Staff was excellent. Downtown Cleveland was very nice and quiet. Felt very safe there. Very impressed

Nice hotel. Our room was NOT ready at 4pm, but the staff member found us another equal or slightly better room with a nice view. I’m not sure if all of the rooms are like this, but at least the one we were in seemed to be a mix of some stuff modern and updated, and some stuff not which was a little odd. Bathroom for example was all updated except for the blue and white floral design 3x3 square tiles that still are the wall of the shower that remind me of what you’d of seen in your grandmothers house. The shower height was a little low (my wife is 5’9” and I’m about 6’ and we kind of had to duck down a little). Also, modern glass design of shower door aka just half of a glass wall (back half is completely open) made for water to come out just trying to take a regular shower. Mini fridges were indeed very mini, slightly larger ones would be a nice upgrade. 2 complimentary bottles of water in the room was appreciated, but no complimentary cocktails, cocktail hour finger foods, free breakfast, or even just free coffee with plenty of fixin options are offered unlike some other competitor hotels on the same block. Expect to pay $4 for a SMALL cup of coffee from the on site restaurant, but they did not have any flavored creamer options besides original. Connected parking garage to the hotel is nice (daily and overnight rates apply though). Honestly, one of the main reasons I chose to try The Westin was because of their fitness facility is SUPERB!

The building was gorgeous.
Room was very accommodating.
We did have a street side room - was a bit loud.
Mattress was super comfy - however the pillows may have been the worst I've ever experienced with a hotel.
Solid stay.
8/10.

Very nice hotel, walkable to everywhere in downtown Cleveland along the beachfront. Many restaurants, bars, and breweries in the area! The hotel itself was lovely. My only complaint was the big bed pillows.
