We loved our stay at the Sheraton. The activities that were offered were a great addition to our vacation and all the staff treated us so well! Thank you!

Great location, beautiful views, nice room

Just ok. Overpriced. Great if you want to be next to the ocean. That is what you are paying for. The food was absolutely mediocre. The resort was completely "choppy" and difficult to navigate. Half the resort was across the street. You will pay a $ 40-a-day resort fee that gets you absolutely nothing but internet. Service at the Lava's restaurant was lousy. No one manned the host desk; several times, we had to flag someone down to be seated. We rented a mask and snorkel for 15 dollars a day. My son lost the mask, and they want to charge $100 to replace it. It was worth $15.00 at most. They are a subcontractor of the hotel and operate separately. No store on site sells any essentials, but there is a coffee snack shop with limited items. My advice is to rent an Air, B & B and use an Insta cart or go get essentials at Walmart. All that said, we paid more for an oceanfront room, which was nice, but could have been gotten elsewhere for much less. No good value here.

Wonderful Staff, everyone is very friendly. Great hotel that is literally on the beach. Since it is located on the South side, the beach is good for boogie boarding and novice surfing. The North coast has calmer waters better for snorkeling.

Everybody was super. The meals we ate at the Lava Restaurant were very good, couldn’t beat the wait staff.

Everyone is always friendly especially the staff. If you need anything they will diligently try to accommodate you. The grounds of this Sheraton is especially beautiful.

Staff could be friendlier.
Take a lesson from the resorts in the Philippines.
Best friendly service you will ever find.

I think the pool and hot tub could be larger for the size of the property

Try to attend the Luau while you are here! Property was nice, a little pricey but beautiful.

This was a phenomenal resort—by far my favorite of our 2 weeks in Hawai’i. The beach access and amenities are amazing! My kids had a fabulous time on that gorgeous beach, snorkeling, boogie boarding, jumping in the pool etc….we all took part in the fitness activities, ukelele and painting lessons. Watched the most beautiful sunsets every night. Definitely want to come back!!

Service was amazing! Perfect view and beach. Cabana chair service was a nice touch, but a little slow.

Loved our stay here! Nice pools and beach. Very safe. Easy parking and nice restaurants. A little busy and loud but that’s because everyone wants to be there!

Very lovely resort! The staff was super helpful and friendly! All the amenities you could possibly want. Our room was amazing and overlooked the ocean. We arrived early and even though our room wasn’t ready we headed to the pool and enjoyed. Parking was also super easy.
Lots of families with kids. Very busy and fun resort! The food was great and we would definitely stay here again ! Mahalo!

This lovely hotel is nicely situated right on beach, with large waterfront pool and hot tub, as well as a lovely ocean/pooside resraurant open from breakfast til 9pm. The free self parking is right beside hotel and never had trouble finding a spot. All staff we met were friendly and helpful. Of note, the luau held on property is held in open view of hotel and beach guests when not raining so guests get free show if interested. There is a watersport rental near beach that offers surfing lessons and the waves break close to the nice sandy beach. Beds very comfy and resort clean. Would highly recommend.

This is extremely expensive hotel the amenities are very dated and few. The room was dirty I had to ask for it to be cleaned and explain why I think it is dirty, they did clean it well after my conversation with them . For the money I spend on what supposed to be a resort on the beach I get what looks like a cheap motel. This made our trip to Kauai a very difficult one. I will never use Sheraton for the rest of my life the money I spend averaged 1000 a night for really bad place . Pictures in Expedia are very deceiving and I think they do so deliberately to rip people off

Scenery and staff were great. Food was somewhat disappointing.

This resort is amazing, always top notch clean and the staff is always super friendly. I would recommend this property to all who wish to stay in kauai in popui. Great sunrises and anazing sunsets.

The property was well located. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful, but not as client oriented as other resorts at this price range. Biggest problem: WORST.FOOD.EVER! Other than the coffee shop, which was fine, the other main restaurants served low quality food, were terribly noisy, and not at all responsive to our requests. We literally had to go off property for every meal.

Always enjoy this hotel. Great views

We stayed here for 3 days. The ocean facing room was worth the view of the ocean/pool. The king bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. Bathrobes were provided as well as basic toiletries. The pool area/chairs filled up fast during the day, but we’re available in the afternoon. Cabana rental prices seemed reasonable. The room service (in room dining) was not worth the $60 for two chicken Cesar salads. That was extremely disappointing for the price for boiled chicken and romaine salad. Self-parking is first come, first serve and includes street parking by the rooms. Located in a central area which is good when visiting Waimea Canyon and Hanapee area. We would stay here again.

Stayed in an ocean view room. The room and bathroom were both very spacious. Called the main desk to request extra coffee packets for the coffee maker in the room and they were delivered within minutes. We talked to various staff members while there and they were all very courteous. Nice pool and beach. Food served at the Lava Restaurant was high quality.

Located close to numerous restaurants and shops. Very close to the beach. This is our fourth time we have stayed at this hotel and will probably stay again.

Our balcony never had the trash cleared during our 6 night stay. Also the room was made up every day and cleaned fresh towels but empty cans etc were not thrown away or removed. The Lava restaurant was a total disappointment. The food and service took forever. From the taste of the food I figured microwaving food would be quick. Asked for a $45 steak to be cooked medium rare and was told they couldn't do that..all cooked same. Mine was burnt table next to us had same dish and his steak was a nice red center. Other meal for breakfast was just as disappointing. The prices were even more inflated for amount service and quality of food. A double patty burger was $35. Don't waste time there. Go off of resort or maybe splurge at rumfire..but it's only open dinner few nights a week.

Flight home was cancelled so booked a night at the Sheraton Kuau’i Resort. Booked and ocean view and upgraded to a beautiful suite. Beautiful beach and pool and sad we are only here for 1 night.

We are at the restaurant rim fire and struggled with the sun in our eyes. Won’t be back there.
The gym needs some updating.

The oceanfront view was great. Parking was limited. Dining on site was very expensive.

Beautiful location with the manicured grounds. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. The beach by the hotel was clean with easy access. We will stay here again.

We had the best time at the Sheraton kauai resort! We stayed both on the north shore and the south shore of the island and this was our favorite. Its so close to shopping, dining, and other resorts and attractions. The luau was wonderful and lava was one of our favorite restaurants during our 12 day stay. Plus the south shore is bright and sunny almost everyday.
