It's right in the heart of Hollywood and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
I was there with my young daughter and felt completely at home.

The hotel was fine. It's about 3 miles from Universal Studios (one stop on the train), which is why we stayed there. There is a mall only 1/2 block away, so easy access to stores and food. Check in took forever. The morning employee was much more friendly than the evening desk employee. The hotel has a smell, but it's not too bad. The biggest downside for us was that breakfast isn't until 7:30! On the plus side the breakfast lady is really nice. If you go down at 7:15 you can get breakfast early.

Clean property with a very good location.

We had a wonderful quick stay and the location was great because it was right across the street from The magic castle where we had reservations. We came for our anniversary and it was a cute vintage hotel.

A cute boutique hotel on a surprisingly quiet street in Hollywood. Traffic to get there a challenge in general but that is LA. Comfortable beds, very clean rooms, bath and shower. Minimal breakfast (no proteins). Parking lot is secure and right next to the hotel. Friendly staff. I have stayed here before and would stay again. Across the street from the Magic Castle.

The hotel was clean, in a great location, the parking price was really great, the staff were really friendly and professional. They offered free continental breakfast and the person who was operating the area knew your order from the day before. My only con to this property is that the walls were really thin. I could hear everything in the room next door ( and they were loud in general) and it sounded like the people upstairs were dropping their luggage as they walked ( maybe carpet would help) If I were to return I would need a room on the second floor in the rear of the hotel. Overall, I really like the hotel

It’s a quaint little hotel with a great location. Rooms are spacious and we had a kitchen attached which was helpful. There’s a vintage feel but with modern, comfortable beds.
It’s a short walk to the Chinese theatre and mall with a lot of shops (target grocery) and restaurants and stores, as well as the train station (one stop to Universal Studios). Also, the Hollywood Stars walk is a block away.
Staff are amazing throughout- front desk fellows are knowledgeable and entertaining. Patricia, who runs the morning breakfast, is a true gem and honestly sets this hotel apart. She makes you feel so special and welcomed. We moved to a splashy hotel in Anaheim after staying here And in comparing the hotels, the kids said: “this one has pool, water park, etc but the other one had Patricia and we miss Patricia.”

Top location. Max 300m to Hollywood Blw. Cheap parking. The beds needs to be renewed within shortly.

I believed the positive reviews on this hotel when I booked it-- big mistake. It's close to everything, I'll give it that. Here are my issues: parking was ridiculous, very limited, and you have to drive to it (traffic around that area is terrible). I had called earlier and asked about parking and got the "No problem!" response--ha! We arrived at 4:00 PM and the lot was almost full. We did get the last spot, but then couldn't get out the entire two-night stay. Some visitors even park in the middle of the lanes and then you're stuck there! Or the lot fills up and then you have to drive over to the Ovation shopping center to park; the hotel feels old and spare overall, very basic furnishings; no coffee/tea in room; decor old and sparse; no elevator; teeny TV (my computer monitor at home is the same size); broken clock; very squeaky bed; deadbolt on my door was not working properly, so it didn't feel entirely safe; the breakfast needed some protein and fruit to it-- it was nothing but carbs. The employees were the positive thing about the hotel: front desk people were very helpful and friendly. I felt bad for them that they had to explain the parking issues to everyone so often. The breakfast woman, Patricia, was outstanding-- so eager to please and friendly. She's the star of the show there! Don't let the term "Executive" fool you in the room descriptions. There's nothing executive about the rooms we had. Honestly, I expected so much more out of this hotel.

This is a really sweet hotel. It has a very mid century feel to it but is clean and fresh. The need was really comfortable. Very nice service at the front desk. Good standard breakfast, waffles etc. Very good coffee.

The staff was incredible. Extremely welcoming, hospitable, kind, and accommodating. The property is a little dated, but the cleanliness, staff, and presentation gives it charm and balance.

The area around the hotel was pretty dirty but the hotel is nice and clean. We enjoyed our 2 night stay.

We recently spent five nights at the Hollywood Celebrity Hotel and had a truly delightful experience. The location is unbeatable—no car needed! There were many Hollywood sites within walking distance and convenient transportation, making our trip incredibly convenient.
The hotel’s charm was one of the highlights for us. It has that kitschy, nostalgic vibe you might find in a classic Route 66 motel. The interior is decorated with vintage Hollywood posters, and the lime-green decor transports you to another era.
The location could hardly be better. While there are other hotels within waking distance of the sites we wanted, many of them looked quite sketchy. You don’t have to cross a single street to reach key Hollywood locations or the nearby bus and metro lines.
The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Alvin, the concierge, was a joy to interact with—always ready with a smile. The breakfast staff and housekeeping were also fantastic. We were especially impressed with Mr. Ifti, the owner of the private taxi the hotel recommended. His service was more affordable than Uber, and he even picked us up after a midnight show.
It’s clear that the hotel could use a refresh in some areas, but everything was very clean and fully functional, so we didn’t mind at all. If you appreciate a place with charm, history, and personality—this hotel delivers in spades.
If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel with fantastic service and unique charm, this is the place to stay.

The worst hotel we found in our 3 week holiday in the USA. The check in was too long. The impression of cleanliness upon entering was not good and unfortunately we had the confirmation when we opended the door of the room. We were struck by an acrid smell of stale urine. It was practically impossible to resist. I went down to reception to communicate the situation. The guy at the front desk took a can of deodorant, took me back to my room and started spraying deodorant everywhere saying that the bad smell was due to the outside temperature. With the temperature outside being 42 degrees, no one had bothered to turn on the air conditioning.
We did not accept this solution and after several insistences he changed our room. The sense of cleanliness wasn't much better but at least there wasn't that bad smell of stale urine that was in the other room. The morning breakfast was very poor and the person running it made more mess than anything else.
GOOD THE POSITION, BUT VERY BAD THE SERVICE AND THE CLEARLINESS

We recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with our 3 small children. Our room had 2 queen beds and a roll-away bed, and all of us slept well. Despite the hotel's age, our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, and the kitchenette was a useful feature. While the parking lot was full when we arrived late, the front desk offered to park our car for us. The hotel's location is convenient to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with a shortcut to the mall. Overall, we had a great stay and felt that it was great value.

Thank you for this perfect stay at your hotel. Especially thank you Alben who was a very friendly and helpful host and gave us really useful tips and smart directions for our stay in Los Angeles!

Old fashion hotel with older features. But the best part is the old tradition of friendly service. All of the staff from the front desk to the maids and the woman who serves the breakfast area. All were smiling and friendly. The people staying there all seems to appreciate the service as well. We would stay there again.

If you know Harry Potter, this property is the magic tent in the Goblet of Fire movie. The outside was kinda basic but boy oh boy, inside the rooms were huge, spotless and the staff were just amazing! It’s right next to Hollywood Walk of Fame and we were so happy with the location and everything about this place. Will recommend to everyone who would remotely mention Los Angeles. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We wanted to stay overnight somewhere that was walkable to the Hollywood Bowl but didn't break the bank. Celebrity Hotel was so awesome! Parking is extra and was only $16.75, the cheapest we found of all the hotels in the area. The $200/night was super fair, it's a beautiful old art deco building, the AC in the room worked great! The room was clean, the bed was comfy and had nice white sheets and fluffy pillows. The woman serving breakfast was so sweet, she even toasted my bagel for me. All the staff were friendly and seemed like family. Some of the guests knew them by name so they must get repeat customers. A hidden gem, I almost don't want anyone to know about it! We will be staying there from now on anytime we want to see a show and not drive home super late at night. So many fun places to walk to, we saw a ton of Walk of Fame stars on the sidewalk on the way to the Powerhouse bar. Lots of shops and restaurants around. Lovely hotel and lovely people, 5 stars!

Nice hotel very close to Hollywood Boulevard. It is easy to use the nearby Metro and/ or buses to explore LA so you can just leave your car at the hotel. Large king suite room, perfect for a family. Great to have a fridge in the room.Breakfast included was OK - typical american hotel breakfast; waffles, bagels, cream cheese & jam.

Great little secret tucked behind the walk of fame. Family run and very well maintained property with plenty of unique character and old world charm. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Easy to check-in / out, parking is $16.50 a night which is the lowest I've ever had in the area and the lot is locked up overnight, hotel + room was very clean and had a table, large mini fridge, AC, king bed, vanity with lights, closet, dresser, and full bathroom. Staff was very pleasant. Quiet spot in the chaos that Hollywood can be. Hotel has an awesome vibe to it as well. Highly recommend.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but was really pleasantly surprised. Location is great, they do offer parking (extra charge, but worth it). Room was a nice suite - two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchenette, makeup room. Service was friendly and room was clean. Kitchenette was really useful.

Hotel is old but well maintained the rooms are clean and spacious. The personal are very polite and attentive to your needs. What i didn't like was the parking. If you drive a big truck or SUV don't recommend this place. Parking spots are limited and no space to turn around. You drive in and to exit you must drive in reverse to incoming traffic on a busy boulevard. I had to drive around for more than 30 minutes waiting for a parking spot to be available and they dont really have any alternatives. Rooms are decent just the parking is a big issue for that reason i wouldn't stay there again.

It had the feel of an old Hollywood building being converted into a hotel period he got the feeling celebrities had stayed there but it was simplistic in its design period the staff was very nice for the most part but the parking was a bit of a pain as you had to have your car valid into the back and it was very difficult to pull out because it was very narrow.
