Thoroughly enjoyable stay! Right on the beach, plus pools. The all-inclusive meals had a lot of variety. Have had better food, but it was pretty good. Friendly staff providing excellent service! Very clean. Lots of activities. Extremely clean.
Will be bringing additional family back next year...

Staff service is amazing, the pool need more attention, there is mold inside the pool , the worse part is the buffet area, we stayed for 4 days, every single time there was mosquitoes and flies around the food and over the pastries, and they didn’t even bother to take care of that issue, that looks like flies n the food areas is something normal for them, that was very disgusting.

I would say this is just an average hotel. Frendly staff, beds need an upgrade

Towels and sheets had stains on it. Front desk wasn’t helpful, they were so careless. Walls are paper thin you can people just walking, food was HORRIBLE. There was nothing good about this place. I will never return to this place.

I did not like the membership tours . They made promises for discounts on excursions if we took the 1 hour presentation and free taxi ride to the airport when checking out . The excursion discounts were great but they did not honor the free taxi to the airport

Will not come here again. Drinks super watered down. Same food day after day and did not taste good. Says all inclusive but had to pay for room service. Tried to order water and they did not want to bring up unless I traded for another drink in my mini bar. Closed down some of the pools so my kids did not get to enjoy.

It’s a small resort, but nicely done. Rooms are clean, new, and water pressure was good for us ladies with lots of hair. Pool is small but clean and nice. Ocean is very rocky, bring water shoes. Two restaurants, 1 buffet and 1 a la carte. Good food. Even though it was blistering hot I had soup daily and loved them. Must try the Pozole. Majority of the guests were Mexican (we visited in August). Staff very welcoming and attentive. BUT: it’s much smaller than you expect. That’s actually not a knock. It’s quaint and cute. But if you expecting it to be like a huge Riu or Barcelo, it’s not. Like I said, small pool. The activities guys is awesome, gets the guests motivated. The nightly entertainment in the small lobby was fantastic (I love salsa dancing, lots of opportunities to dance!). Malecon is a short walk away and worth it- tip: go early in the morning before the vendors arrive and before the heat starts. All in all it was a great trip. Oh, another hint: everyone wanted the buffet for breakfast and so the line was quite long. But the ocean front restaurant is also open and honestly, who wants to eat inside versus on a balcony over looking the ocean and feeling the ocean breeze while you sip coffee and eat your personalized omelette??? Not this chica! Go to the ocean front a la carte restaurant for breakfast!!! You will have a great time. Just be prepared for a small resort, that’s all.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was really good and everyday you have different options so you don’t get tired. The entertaining was beautiful, the musicians and singers were excellent. It is very well located, you can walk to many places. I would definitely go back 👍👍

Pros
pool staff are great
Thursday Mexican Fiesta food/concept great
Walkable to restaurants and malecon
Maid staff great
Cons
Front desk needs customer service training
Front desk needs to smile
Timeshare people need to ask 1X. We were approached at least 1X a day. Unacceptable
Food quality is poor
Drink quality is poor
Sky bar drinks are poor
Overall
Won’t be back. Poor food/drink quality. Way too expensive given the quality. We had a good time but we thought it would be better quality. Should have spent less and probably gotten jest as good of quality. Very disappointing

This resort is lovely and located perfectly; you can walk along the beach or through the city all the way to the Malecon and to the pier at Playa de Los Muertos. The beach is beautiful (but quite rocky) and overall facilities are very nice. Staff was very friendly (especially servers and barmen). The food is also very good, and there are many other dining options nearby if you want to go out for food. However, the housekeeping was very slow; on multiple days our room would not be cleaned all morning and we had to go to the front desk to ask them to clean it (and then it was only cleaned near 3-4 pm). The hotel also only provided two 500 mL water bottles per room, and when we asked for more, they said we had to trade our coke/soda for more water, which was very strange and bizarre, so we would just go to the bar to get water. Also, if you wake up later, be prepared to stand in line to the buffet for breakfast. They don't let very many people in at once, so try to get there around 9 or earlier if you can. Other than these small nuances, we had an amazing stay, and would definitely come back.

This was one of the most disappointing experiences for our family vacation. I would not recommend this resort. We booked two rooms for our family of 5. Originally were were told we would have to upgrade our stay if we wanted joining rooms or rooms close by. We were told to call expedia even to complain about the arrangements. Finally they agreed to "upgrade" one room, so we could have rooms across the hallway from each other. The rooms are not insulated well and through 1am there is loud music and other visitors walking by, but it is so loud. The beach is dirty with trash, plastic, sharps etc. We paid to be taken to different beaches because we came for a beach vacation. Continuously the staff will try to upsell their VIP, Privileged Club (possible timeshares) to make your experience "better". The pictures are very misleading. Please pick somewhere else to stay for your family. I could go on, but absolutely do not recommend.

Not too big Hotel which is very convenient to avoid walk a lot between facilities. Good dining and walking distance to the beach.
As walways, Mexico has the best service in the world so you don’t have to worry about nothing. Hotel staff always wiling to help.

Checking in was okay, but not very helpful on the property Amenities. The food was just basic, not good. They had a nice Sunset Restaurant but the kitchen caught fire the second day forcing you to eat buffet everyday. The pool was packed with children. The entertainment was basic and held inside the lobby where it was very and humid, no fans or air condition. Too much to list bad about the Hotel. After the second day I already wanted to leave, worst vacation of my life...

Had to wait 30 minutes to get into breakfast… kind of ridiculous

Management is rude, no costumer service skills whatsoever. If you address concerns they laugh at your face. Pool closes at 8 pm and no activities after that time. Security will harass you up and down if you have minors with you. Victor and Francés at the bar area are polite and friendly.

All in all it was very enjoyable!

The beach is rough, pool a bit small, drinks were weak, food was not great. Construction happening next door really loud and the constant pressure to learn about their time share options, were annoying while relaxing on vacation. I only had breakfast there and ate the rest of my meals outside the hotel. Burgers on the pool were the only thing that had flavour.

Loved everything except the restaurants. Food was ok, lines to get in were very slow.

Oscar the bartender was amazing! He was friendly and made amazing drinks. Fatima at the Lobby was so helpful and attentive. The property was great. The beach has a lot of rocks so not as enjoyable as some.

The property was definitely not what was expected or what I thought I was paying for! To start the check in staff were super rude and u friendly which started the experience on a horrible foot! After check-in my husband noticed his wristband was on way to tight, he went to the front to ask if they could loosen it or give him a new one, and they were trying to charge him 500 pesos to change his wristband!!!! In the room the sheets were super old and rough and even stained, there were red spots and peeling all over both bed’s beddings. The hotel was very understaffed and service around the bar and restaurant was very slow. The pool area was very old there was chips all over the pool as well as loose tiles. There was a huge loose lightbulb in the pool which looked extremely unsafe!

The staff was amazing and so helpful. Rooms and facility were clean. This was our fourth time staying there. My biggest frustration this year and it was definitely different was the lines for food. We've been when its full and it wasn't like that. Stand in line to have them pull parties of four or five from the back of the line. The food at the fiesta wasn't as good as we have had before and corn and potatoes were under cooked. I love this place but this is an area for improvement.
