The hotel is dated but the rooms are satisfactory

The Ramada was perfect for our weekend getaway. Taxis were right out front rather to offer you transportation. Rooms were clean and well kept.
3.3
Hotel is tore down, noise coming from the rooftop AC units of the Casino. Room is large, restaurant options are limited. Breakfast ok
3.3
Our stay was overall ok. The hotel facility is a little run down and in need of a facelift. The most annoying feature of the stay was the hotels strict enforcement of the check-in time which was not until 3pm as well as having to vacate the room by 10am the next day. The hotel was virtually empty as we were here at the end of September (off season) and despite this the hotel showed not the slightest flexibility with the check-in and checkout times.

Hotel needs an urgent upgrade….. was not comfortable at all

The complimentary breakfast does not have a variety of choices. It also doesn't accommodate people with food, allergies. The dining room also has a lot of flies and Maggot's flying around as you're ttying to dine, as well as flying on your food.... The food buffet is not freshly updated by the hour and a food taste, and the temperature feels as if it's been sitting in the warmers from the first serving at 7am..
The manager also gave my family, and I have really hard time as we were trying to dine, and I spent over $357.00...
Also, the staff as well as the manusal, made my stay feel very uncomfortable when trying to spend time with my family as we were craving the loss of our father and was there for our father's funeral....
When requesting towels, it took over two hours before receiving towels, and my room was never clean over the course of my six day stay ..
To be honest, the ramada princess hotel is a great establishment in location for citizens of belize as well as belizean ns traveling from the states to visit... Convenience of the location and being able to walk into the town comfortably. It's perfect. However, the upkeep of the building as well as the customer service needs to be at a greater standard in order to continue to grow the establishment... I am a business owner as well and from experience. You want to pour into your overall cleanliness and upkeep of your building to continue to drive customers there and make them feel comfortable for long stays and welcoming

On arrival there was no rooms and wanted us to change the type of room. Cost was beyond what I would be willing to pay and the desk manager was rude. The place is outdated, rundown and not maintained. From huge roac in the hallway, dirt, mildew. Would not recommend.

I stayed in the hotel for just one night.
Service was great.
Food was delicious.
Rooms clean and with a great view.
I understand the hotel.is a little old and it showed it

This place reminded me of the time I got stuck at the bus stop in Limon, Costa Rica and had to spend the night in an hourly rate cabina designed for crackheads and hookers. The pool was magically broken, the shower fixtures were covered in mold and rust, a staff member broke into our room unnanounced. The only positive note about the Ramada is the young man serving in the restaurant, whose cheerful service almost made the food edible. Orbitz needs to require properties like this to update their listing photos, because this place is falsely advertising their property. The last night of our trip was ruined and Orbitz was beyond rude and unhelpful.

The hotel is dated. The main entrance smells terrible, maybe because of some smoking inside the casino next door....but i am not sure. In the bedroom, the 2 mattress were old and you literally sink into it. Choices at breakfast were limited. Boiled eggs were overcooked, there was no butter available...we got some when we asked but the service was not so kind. We also had to ask to bring some extra yogurt...

The people that worked there were great. Need to have a full-time excursion person. Breakfast was just ok, nothing was out and hardley anything looked great. Had to wait for eggs to get or not at all.
3.3
It was a short stay, I had a problem where my door was not locking and I called the front desk and it was taking care of right away
3.3
Was clean n comfortable friendly employees

Comfortable stay

Hasan the waiter at night and the bartender worked very hard and were attentive and amazing. Great job. I will be back.
3.3
Overall, the hotel looks like a ran down motel. I walked into the room and immediately walked back out and checked out the hotel. The hotel needs some serious renovation. The restaurant had flies.
3.3
Beautiful location, great food and amazing customer service!! Highly recommended

was clean and friendly staff

I normally like the Princess but for some reason my stay this time was not the best. Just could not get towels as I should have so it was a HUGE inconvenience whether it was morning or night. Either no face towels or no drying towels.
3.3
It was extremely dated and very basic. This hotel needs a serious makeover. We got in at 6pm (check in is at 3 or 4) but they still made us wait for over an hour or so to give us our room. Then took another hour to provide towels saying they were doing laundry.

I Like the most the beautiful view.
3.3
Old and out dated
3.3
the property smelled of mildew and very strong odor in the rooms. to the point of coughing
3.3
The staff is friendly, especially Gloria in the dining area. We especially loved the free continental breakfast, which also included Belizean options such as fried jacks and beans. My only negative feedback is that the facilities are a bit undated.
3.3
This was a very run down hotel. Pool hardened been clean in months. Holes in outside walls. Staff not attentive. Smelled like smoke. No working phone in my first room before I changed.
3.3
Dirty, falling apart, pool was filthy and they didn’t have towels. Bathroom was falling apart. There were crumbs on the ottoman. The staff was friendly and i feel bad they work in such a dump!!!
3.3
It is tired. Beds are hard, exterior hallways with incomplete lock sets. This is not a bad hotel, it is a value. It could be improved.
3.3
It’s a convenient place to stay right in the middle of town and older property, but the employees are awesome.
3.3
Very run down building and amenities. Pool was closed and looked poorly maintained.
3.3
The property is at an exquisite location, the customer service is terrific however, the problem is with the property falling apart and the low quality furniture in the lobby area. Additionally, there is a smell of stagnant water upon entry. Oh, I forgot the fake flowers; not a nice look for such a grand hotel.
There is patio furniture in the main entry and the space is dark. This was a poor first impression.
Everywhere you look there are patch jobs; the wall, the floors, the ceiling. Take the time to fully renovate the entire hotel and the hotel will earn higher markings/ratings. I would gladly return for the views and the customer service. Do invite me back after the place has been updated.
Respectfully. I could see the full potential, I am confident you can turn things around.
3.3
The pictures in the ad have to at least 15 years old. The hotel is very dated and needs a serious renovation. I would say this is more of a motel than a hotel, but it was clean and the staff was friendly.
3.3
Enjoyed it
3.3
Restaurant staff was rude to unfriendly, front desk staff ok. Lobby bartender was great. Bar and pool closed. Overall property needs major updates including room furnishings. Bed and linens ultra comfortable.
3.3
Room never got cool, bathtub was peeling paint so when showering it floated around your feet. Would not stay here again if had to stay in the town again.

The hotel
3.3
Dirty...rude staff...old
3.3
My room had a good AC. Some friends’ rooms did not. One friend had bad AC AND her door wouldn’t open when it was time to leave.
3.3
Staff (bartenders, hostess, and casino waitresses) were all very unwelcoming and not friendly at all. Also, the bathroom tub paint was peeling. Other than those issues, the hotel location wasn’t too bad since it was a close drive to the water taxi. Definitely would not be coming back here.
3.3
This is an ok hotel, but it really needs upgrades and renovations.
