Staff at reception not friendly or helpful at all, Trudy was very unhelpful, no customer service at all, was just u pleasant, also on wet day asked another reception member was there any umbrellas available as we had small baby I was just told no and she turned away, very unfriendly staff, no effort at all, the restaurant staff were amazing.

I had already prepaid for valet parking with my reservation but the employee at the counter did not understand and insisted I pay for parking. Manager came over and quickly glanced at my reservation in the system and saw that I prepaid for parking and assured me that I would not be charged at check out and to double check receipt. Check out came and I was charged for parking. Spoke with front desk to have it removed. There is a huge gap in training between the staff that would eliminate the errors and inconvenience.
Spotted Zebra restaurant inside of the hotel - I found a huge piece of broken glass in my water glass! Thankfully I didn’t cut myself on it or given to my son in his glass. Our glasses were not broken so the broken glass came from Lord knows where! This should have never happened. I let the waiter know, she apologized and removed the entire glass from the table.
Valet parking- a valet employee stole roughly $23 from my center, closed console. I’m not upset about the money, it’s the principle of the matter and leaves me feeling violated.

Our experience was excellent, but for one thing. My wife and I went to the hotel lounge our second night and sat at the bar for ten minutes and were never served. The bar only had five other couples there and both bartenders glanced at my wife and I, but never acknowledged our presence or came over to take our order. It was a very disappointing experience on which to end our stay as we checked out the following morning.

Very nice hotel a 10 minute walk from the National Mall. Rooms were spotless, as was the rest of the hotel. The pool was great at the end of a hot day walking around all the museums!
The only quibbles were that if the booking is for 3 people, why only provide 2 glasses/coffees etc. We immediately had to ask for more.
Also, in this day and age, I can't see why a hotel doesn't offer a basic free WiFi service in rooms, and charge if people want a faster one. $12.95 a day for WiFi seems excessive!

First time staying at this hotel - very luxurious. We had a beautiful view of the city outside which I appreciated. Everything was very clean and organized. Only upsetting thing was one of the front-desk ladies gave me a bit of attitude when I was asking some “beginner” questions. First time traveling solo and expected some understanding but it’s fine, their other staff member was much friendlier in answering my questions.

Went on vacation with my wife and son and stayed for four nights. The location is excellent! Convenient to the monuments and museums. Lots of dining options too. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this hotel for a family vacation or business trip.

The hotel staff, including the bellhop and front desk team, were very helpful throughout my stay. While there isn't a concierge, any issues with the room were promptly resolved. The hotel was quiet, allowing me to rest well, and its central location made it easy to access everything nearby.
However, I did encounter a few issues with the M Club. The room keys were changed without notification, leading to being locked out until I resolved it with the front desk. Although we eventually regained access after some discussion, the lounge was often understocked and had a more limited range of offerings compared to other club lounges I’ve experienced.

One of the nicest places we've stayed. Easy to find, valet parking was simple (albeit expensive $50 per night). Rooms were super clean, comfy beds/pillows/sheets. Nice shower. Everything you'd need during a stay. It is a really nice facility!
That being said, we've never encountered 'destination fees' before so that was a bit of a surprise. We booked online at one price then with the added fees and parking and tax for each adding to over $90 per night.
Some folks may not care but it's a little harder on some travelers on a budget. Corporate customers just sign the screen and move on to their next meeting/conference. A 4-star hotel shouldn't need to hide simple in-room wi-fi behind a pay wall and call it 'Destination fees' and/or using that $25 for food/drinks that we don't need (which aren't redeemable on day of checkout anyway) is a bit of a cash grab opportunity, in my opinion. Then again, it's in a place where a lot money is, DC.
All in all, the hotel is great, staff was polite and was ready to help with any request.
Just didn't really dig extra fees for crap that should be included for the price. I blame corporate and it's probably just accepted in that business. Especially in an area full of suits.
We had to book somewhere to attend a concert at nearby Capital One Arena.
Overall, it was a great experience, monetarily, not so much.
Didn't even use the gym or pool or other amenities. But I'm sure they were nice too.
