Indoor pool was freezing cold.
The hot tub was like warm, little jet pressure and small bits of dark debris floating thru it. Bug hanging onto wall... unsure what kind it was. Internet password received but could not connect to it. Requested room away from ice and vending machines. Assigned room across from ice machine. Dated decor. Low water pressure in shower with loud screaming noise present. Bathroom light connected with loud running exhaust fan.

Our stay was very good. We would definitely stay there again, given the opportunity.

The room had a lot of roaches and the shower water wouldn’t get hot. It smelled like cigarettes in there.

Basic lodging at a really good price. Near several meal options.

But like a decent budget hotel to stay at. Although the continental Breakfast was not good. Bagels were hard as a rock. Toaster wasn’t working to warm up cold French toast.

Roaches!!!! This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. During check in the elderly man told me I looked like I was going to mess up the room because he “knew my type”. I, a 38 year old mother, was there with two of my children after a college football game. Then we get to the room at almost midnight (too late to leave and find another place) and there are baby roaches in the sink, on the bathroom floor, and on the walls near the beds. (I have pictures as well). The carpet in the room was sticky and the entire room was so dirty (I also took pictures). I am shocked this place hasn’t been shut down.

We booked this hotel for two nights, Friday and Saturday. We arrived late Friday night to a dirty, old, unkempt, smelly, creepy hotel. Bad vibes. We were actually afraid to stay there. There was HAIR IN THE SHOWER AND THE TUB. We managed to stay there for about five sleepless hours. We checked out very early, way before the official checkout time. They charged us for BOTH NIGHTS even though we weren't even there anymore. I wish I could give this hotel negative stars. One of the worst hotels in my life. Plus they charged us the security deposit. For what????

Pleasantly surprised! Super clean and comfortable, friendly staff, great continental breakfast. Convenient location with stores and food in walking distance. Highly recommended!

The people who work there are very friendly, but the room smelled too much like cigarettes, the sheets smelled dirty.

The hotel was clean and comfy. It had a mini fridge & microwave but no coffee pot.

The hot tub is dirty the pool is cold. The old man in the morning is rude. The young guy is nice and that's the only reason I gave 2stars. If he wasn't there I'd give no stars.

The room looked a lot nicer online. The hotel had a funny smell, and the pool definitely needs updating. There were random people not a part of the hotel using the pool. I typically book nicer hotels, but this hotel was good for the budget.

The room we were given had a musty smell. We asked to change rooms and were told the hotel was sold out. It didn’t look sold out. Maybe the truth is that the Expedia rooms were sold out. They were able to give us an alternate room (the last remaining room, they said) and it was ok though the bed configuration was worse than what we had booked.

The staff was wonderful and accommodating. We had left our marriage necklaces hanging in the bathroom from when we showered and they were nice enough to check and find them and hold them at the counter for us until we returned the following night.

The property is old and outdated. It smelled like drugs. There were cigarette burns in the covers. Stains and hairs in the sheets. Cockroaches. but the bed is comfy.

The hotel wasn't clean. The room door didn't shut without having to slam it. It smelled inside. The pool and hot tube were very dirty. The breakfast was not good. We asked for a late check out and they didn't give us an answer. We asked to add another night but we would have had to pay almost double what we paid for the first night.

Especially impressed by clean bathroom (with a tub!) & nice bedding.

My family and I stayed just for a day. It was pretty comfortable. The only issue was that the pool area was very very unkept. I stepped out of the pool and fell pretty badly due to the floor having what appeared to be a film of some sort, over the floor. Instead of coming in and occasionally cleaning up the floor, they placed a bunch of caution signs everywhere. About an hour after my fall, I watched a kid that was about seven slip and hit his head really hard. Maybe 15 minutes after that, my daughter stepped out of the pool and slipped as well!!!! Also the jacuzzi had LARGE pieces of what appeared to be dead skin!!! LOTS OF IT!!! Like someone had been peeling their feet! It was disgusting! My room was clean, linen was clean and nothing else stood out!!!

This place should be torn down. For just a little more money I stayed at the Ramada by the Mall and it is totally renovated. Good Luck getting the staff to give a care about any concerns you may have.

Pictures posted online don’t do justice how unsettled you’ll feel entering the front doors of this Howard Johnson “hotel.” After parking outside a building that looks like it should’ve been abandoned, you’ll get a nagging feeling that someone’s watching you. Step through the semi-functional sliding doors into the lobby, where you’ll be greeted by odors of burnt marijuana and a sense of dread. Check in with a receptionist hiding behind plexiglass, who’ll manage to make you feel more like a burden than your parents do. Immerse yourself in an atmosphere of complete discomfort and unease. Walk upstairs and down the halls, compulsively checking over shoulder because something feels just… off. Unlock and enter your suite, where you’ll find frayed carpeting, dirty walls, damp sheets, stained walls, and a newfound longing to be anywhere else.
Seriously though, do NOT stay here. It smells like weed, the receptionist is rude, it’s dirty and unsafe, and overall, the entire building evokes the same feeling as walking alone through a dark alleyway after your phone’s died.

The pictures of the hotel are very deceiving. I have never left a negative review like this before. The hotel is dirty, the breakfast was frozen waffles defrosted and displayed in a plastic display case. Luckily there was a Perkins next door to get a proper breakfast. Mold was on the bathroom ceiling. The pool area was gross. Being on the first floor we didn’t even feel safe in the hotel. I can’t blame the hotel for unruly guests but they could have asked people to be more respectful. The staff didn’t interact or speak to you except at check in.

Was ok, not the cleanest, dated, and poor condition of furniture and bathroom. One bed mattress was ok other bed mattress was terrible.

Family run hotel, nice people
