A Beautiful and old fashioned Istanbul hotel with a lot of history. Unfortunately, the facilities have not kept up. We had problems with our heating in the room. There was also a big party downstairs over the weekend which was extremely loud and did not allow us to sleep. The staff were extremely friendly though and excellent service.

This is a beautiful historic hotel. Mustafa Ataturk stayed at this hotel as did many world known celebrities. The hotel had preserved the rooms that Ataturk used and now show them as a museum. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. They always answer with a smile. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

The Orient bar and staff were excellent, but you do not need to stay there to go to the bar. When we arrived, we pulled up in a taxi at the entrance. Nobody offered help with luggage, and we had to fight past people to even get in the door! The reception staff seemed very unhappy/bored - not a warm welcome. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. Nice large showers. The room said Golden Horn view, but mainly was buildings and a main road with a slither of water. The young guy at the sap reception was lovely and welcoming, but the staff inside was rude. One girl sprayed me with a cleaning spray while I sat down after the sauna. If you want people to leave, ask! It was at least an hour before closing, though. We are glad we cancelled our Hammam service. Tom Tom Suites, Soho House and Divan are all much better options. The place's history attracts many people; while sitting in the bar, they even brought a tour group through! It's not an ideal stay to relax. I suggest just booking in for the afternoon tea or going to the bar and staying somewhere else. Though it is a very affordable option.

Beautiful old world hotel. Beautiful public areas and restaurant very nice for meals. Plan your activity schedule carefully as taxi rides from this location can be 2-3 times longer than expected, depending on time of day.

Is a beautiful Hotel. The staff needs to be more friendly with guests. I have couple of issues and customer service takes too long to resolve. I will not stay again on that Hotel.

We were given an upgrade to the Alfred Hitchcock suite, which was fantastic! It is worth it to pay extra to have a view to the Golden Horn. Service was professional overall and breakfast was very good.

I stayed in the Jacqueline Kennedy room for one night. It was a very calm and clean room, where I enjoyed a luxurious time soaking in a bathtub filled to the brim. Although some of the power outlets had poor connections, making it difficult to charge my laptop and smartphone, there were plenty of other outlets in the room, so it wasn’t a significant issue.

The hotel is situated in a central position of the tourist attractions. Easy to access most historical sites with taxi or trams. The hotel itself contains historical pieces and museum about historical figures that stayed at the hotel such as Atatürk, Shah of Iran, famous musicians and film writers. The hotel itself was very spacious, modern, and clean with extremely kind staff.

Great staff, super helpful and kind. This is a historic hotel with amazing history. I would have loved to see the museum room which was closed for refurbishment. Rooms were comfortable enough if a little cozy! But all in all we enjoyed the fantastic entrance hall, beautiful lounge and bar area.

Beautiful !!!!!!!!!and well located. Staff very accommodating. Front desk staff and terrace waiters specially so. Food was delicious. Hamam experience was good, but better to go to an independent Turkish bath to get a more unique experience. Eco friendliness- Wish water was provided in a more eco friendly way than plastic bottles.

We had a great experience at the Pera Palace Hotel. It is a true five-star hotel. Initially we booked two rooms for two nights, but we kept extending our stay, we ended up staying for 11 nights. This hotel is amazing, from the accommodations and the facilities to the staff just impressive. Every person we dealt with at the Pera Palace was an amazing professional starting from the hotel manager, the reception staff to the concierge all were impressive offering help and great recommendations. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with many delicious options. The tearoom and the terrace all offered great ambiance with class and beauty in addition to delicious offerings. The location of the hotel is very convenient, within walking distance to many interesting areas, additionally the staff was always available to call a taxi if we needed one. Despite the hotel’s central location, it was very quiet once you walked in the hotel, it was also away from the crowded areas. I highly recommend the Pera Palace Hotel, it was a great magical experience.

We had an amazing experience. We booked two rooms, we started by booking two nights and we kept extending, finally we stayed for 11 nights. This hotel is a true five stars, starting from our rooms to great staff and facilities to excellent location. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a wide range of delicious choices, the dinning room staff was great. Reception staff and concierge were great, giving excellent service and recommendations. Gihad the hotel manger solved our initial request quickly giving us great rooms. Tea room and the terrace were just amazing. The Pera Palace hotel was like a dream all around.
