Well located hotel between National Mall and The Wharf, but you'll still need to do a lot of walking. Only issue with our stay was that it was in the 80s in November, so the hotel had hot air blowing - we got back to our room at the end of the day and it was 78 degrees. Since they had a WiFi outage at the same time, it took a few hours to fix.

Everything was very good to excellent except for breakfast which was mediocre
4.3
It was a great place to stay. Breakfast too expensive for the quality of food.
4.3
Location is unbeatable. 8 min walk to National Mall, 3 minute walk to Metro, 10 minute walk to The Wharf, waterfront area with numerous restaurants.
Lorena, hotel receptionist, was supremely helpful and pleasant.

Fabulous location! Room was clean and modern. Very walkable to Mall, wharf We never used the metro but it is very close. Staff was very friendly but not very knowledgeable and there is no concierge which is the main reason for 4 stars. Breakfast is soso and overpriced. There is an Starbucks in the lobby that to me was a better option. Also there is a balcony but door is sealed so it is not accessible. I would definitely stay here again!
4.3
It is an excellent property and well kept. The staff are cordial and informed. I'd recommend this hotel if you're wanting to stay close to the mall. It's fabulous!

We stayed at this Hotel for a week with my family, and I must say it was THE WORST hotel experiences we've ever had.
First and foremost, We had to switch rooms the very next morning because there was construction work happening right outside our window. The noise was unbearable and completely ruined our family trip. We expected a relaxing getaway, but instead, we were met with chaos and discomfort.
The cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable. Our new room was not properly cleaned with smell of mold, and to make matters worse, the sink was clogged. We reported the issue to maintenance, but they took their sweet time to respond, and when they finally did, they left all the trash behind with a still clogged drain. It was incredibly frustrating but my wife didn’t want to switch the room AGAIN so we had to wash hands in bath tub for the rest of the trip!!
Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant stay. Save your money and find a place that values cleanliness and guest comfort. This hotel clearly does not!

Outstanding room design
4.3
Overall a great stay with good customer service. Breakfast is extremely overpriced, there is no laundry or atm on site, just a few small inconveniences.
4.3
The staff was very friendly and courteous. Walking distance to most everything. Hotel was clean and welcoming
4.3
Conveniently located. Great, quick service for such a large, busy hotel. Even though the hotel is large and busy, it was quiet, you couldn’t hear other guests or road noise. The beds could be more comfortable, but they certainly weren’t the worst we’ve stayed on. It was really nice having 2 king beds, kept the sibling bickering down to minimum. Property was clean.

Good

An absolute pleasant experience all around! We would for sure book again!
4.3
Close to the wharf.
4.3
It was a great room, spacious. Directly across from the Spy Museum. And 7 minute walk to the Wharf. Only issue. The AC leaked from the vent. Otherwise perfect.
4.3
The pool was nice although they were out of towels. The room was very clean and close to all attractions
4.3
We did not have room service to clean our room, replace towels but we just stayed 2 nights. We called and had towels delivered promptly. Great local - Metro station literally on site and not too far to walk to mall or ward. Front desk personnel were friendly and informative. There is a self serve coffee bar ($) to left of front desk in case you don’t want to pay for Starbucks.
4.3
Stayed here during a family vacation. We were disappointed with the service provided by housekeeping and the hotel restaurant/lounge. We stayed four nights and despite requesting our room be refreshed, we received no housekeeping service. We went down to the hotel restaurant for supper one evening and waited 15 min before being acknowledged. The front desk staff were pleasant and responded to requests/texts quickly.
4.3
The room was very nice, the people were very accommodating and helpful, and there is a full fledged Starbucks in the lobby.
4.3
Great location! The hotel is clean but the staff was not very attentive and/or timely when request were submitted.
4.3
Won’t be staying here again.
4.3
The hotel was in a great location (between the mall & the wharf) for our family visit. The valets were friendly and helpful. My children enjoyed the pool. There is a Starbucks with nice, efficient employees within the hotel. We felt very safe and were comfortable there.
4.3
This location was everything I expected, staying at the Hilton is where I would prefer to stay every visit. The building is beautiful, clean and close to everything or within 10-15 walking distance there is seating areas all around. The only thing we didn’t like was the price of the conventional breakfast so we ate Starbucks right next to the service desk and the mall is downstairs which is the coolest!
4.3
The rooftop pool was fun and convenient for the family. The location along the yellow and green metro lines is excellent for attending baseball games and getting in and out of downtown quickly. Smithsonian and the Mall are an easy walking distance. Safe and fun. Kids get half off breakfast buffet.
4.3
Excellent hotel for families. In walking distance to the attractions, with a metro right in front of the hotel to get you around DC for the days you don’t want to walk. Spy museum right in front of the hotel and the wharf is a short walk away with lots of bars and restaurants. Wee will definitely stay again. Next time I’d like to see more food choices at the hotel and a shop to buy snacks and drinks.
4.3
Location is great. Room 11-152, the bathroom door needs repair or to be reinstalled. The room is also directly across the hall from housekeeping supplies, and the room door is not sealed, allowing light and very clear sound through. At 7:30am I was awoken by the housekeepers conversing to start their day.
4.3
An excellent place to stay!
4.3
The pool area was nice and clean. Wish they would extend the pool hours.
4.3
Amazing spacious hotel, would definitely stay here again. I loved it.
4.3
Perfect location!!
4.3
The location was fine, but the room had an odd musty odor. As computers were down due to the global IT issue there was no ability to move rooms. The staff did their best but you could see they were stretched to their limits.
The staff all seemed friendly but clueless in many cases.
4.3
This place was great. Everyone was so nice and it was conveniently located near the national mall and the spy museum right next door! Rooms were clean and we felt safe overall! They also have a spot with rentable scooters nearby so you can easily hop on and off to get around without a car! Also walkable to the Wharf area with beautiful shops!
4.3
Everything was great just wish they advised they could hold our luggage at the coat check instead of pulling the car up from valet.
4.3
The double king beds was an amazing option and the pool was great!
4.3
I would recommend this hotel for its location, it is close to the National Mall and the Wharf. There are restaurants at the bottom level and has easy access to the metro.
4.3
Great place to stay!
4.3
Loved the 2 king beds, rooms were quiet! The onsite restaraunt was great and we loved the walkability and proximity to everything!
4.3
Worst hotel experience of my life. Very combative management, the AC filter was clogged the maintenance person told us that’s why are room never cooled down. Tried to move rooms at midnight with two sleeping children was their solution to an issue I had told them about 10 hours prior! Then all to offer Hilton points. Two lights didn’t work, shower leaked everywhere, some staff were rude beyond belief. Could not get out of there fast enough.
4.3
Not enough coffee in room. Only one cup.
4.3
Really liked that the train was so close. The Wharf area was fun to walk down to at night. A little too far of a walk for us to the monuments, etc, but with the train right there, that was not an issue.
