Truly exceptional, high-end aesthetic and comfort experience in all regards.
& every employee was very friendly and even more competent -- all top notch.
Great value for a special occasion, and a perfect spot for weddings.

Amazing hotel right in the busiest part of Oaxaca! Truly a gem! We were so impressed by the level of courtesy from the staff, the comfort and cleanliness of our room, and the amenities of the hotel! Would highly recommend and would stay again! It is on the pricier side of everything else in Oaxaca; but it was our honeymoon and also día de los muertos so we decided to treat ourselves and we definitely got what we paid for!

I absolutely loved staying here! The pool made for a nice afternoon, the rooms weren’t too big, but so cozy. The entire hotel smelt wonderful. We only ate there once, the nachos by the pool was a good snack. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Beautiful historic property. Built in a former monastery, it has charming and cozy atmosphere. Many nooks and quiet spots to sit and relax and enjoy the gardens. We loved the pool, situated in one of the many courtyards, it was perfect to cool off after a day of touring. The property is also very conveniently located in the center of the city and still in a quiet area, away from the noise and crowds.

staying in luxury hotel that once was a 16th century Monastery is truly magical & its right downtown with a courtyard pool!

Beautiful converted convent with a rich and interesting history. Staff are superb and attentive. José Luis and Isidro are world class food servers. The quality of the food is amazing. This hotel is centrally located in the historic district and very walkable to many points of interest.

This is the most beautiful Hotel I have stayed in. It was like staying in a museum. Everybody that works here from the front management to the house keeping team deserved a 5 star review.

We loved our stay here. The interior courtyard is beautiful, the pool area is stunning. All the staff were so nice and helpful. Near everything you need in town.

We loved how nice everyone was, food was delicious, the hotel was very clean and pretty. We just didn’t like how expensive it was including the restaurant and room service

As soon as you check in, the hotel welcomes you with the best Mezcal I tasted during our stay. The staff is very warm and helpful and they give you advice what to visit or where to eat. The hotel is connected with a tour agency to offer tours every day.

This hotel is a total gem. It’s like staying inside a piece of art and history all at the same time. We had the most incredible long lunch in the courtyard and basically just took it all in. We loved it so much we extended our stay by adding a night.

This is probably one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. The customer service was amazing, the rooms were spacious and the pool was such a nice escape from busy Oaxaca. The hotel food and cocktails were also great. We will definitely return next time. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better. It is a two minute walk to the main town and church.

While the rooms are small and very basic, the grounds and the pool were fantastic. The pool staff were also superb, with excellent service.

The front desk people are very unfriendly. The food at the restaurant is quite bad.

The property is historic and the pool is wonderful but management could have done more to improve my stay. The only tiny window in my room overlooked a market so I couldn't open it and my request to move was ignored. The pool is great but it would be nice if there were more chairs and umbrellas.

Great staff and a lovely hotel. Amazing history behind the hotel. Worth a lot the while.

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. Everything was amazing.
Unfortunately, on the last day, our son clipped his toe in the poo. He’s a soccer player and so now he’s quite inconveniencedl. The same thing happened to two other kids. We’d like to return to this property and hope this issue will have been fixed because aside from that everything was incredible.

The property is stunning, convenient to wonderful restaurants, artisan shops, and sightseeing.

Historic property. Really pretty and charming.

I stayed 5 days (4 nights) at the hotel. While the first 2 days were perfect, the last 3 were anything but. I decided to treat myself to this hotel (by far the most expensive in town), in order to have peace and quiet after long days of tourist activities. The hotel, which portrays itself as a haven of silence, hosted TWO consecutive conferences during my stay The first one consisted of 140 people; all of a sudden the service in the restaurant went down, and I could not rest by the pool as loud microphones
