Upon entry i noticed a very over powering odor of insence.... they were nice enough to allow us to check in early... when we returned after our plans we were disappointed to find out there was no pool or hot tub(even thought they were advertised).. beds were comfortable though... hoping breakfast is edible

Dirty, the room looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a while.

The place is old, needs a complete redo. The breakfast is the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had. They only had waffles, wonder bread, bananas and fruit loops... nothing else! For over $200 per night, absolutely not worth it. It would be ok if it was priced like a Motel 6.

Very mediocre. I’m told they mostly rent to locals.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The property was run down and not well maintained. Bit of a musty smell through out the hotel. Won’t be staying there again.

Room damp and musty. No servicing of the room. Had to specifically request fresh towels. Room AC filter needs to be changed, moldy smell.

The staff was excellent - extremely kind, helpful and friendly. My only problems were with hotels.com itself. The fact that I had a split stay may have been confusing to the site. Regardless, the non-user friendly booking charged me double what I was anticipating for the final 2 days. The "refund insurance" should have been a red flag that this probably happens all the time. A virtual assistant should not be the only resort to address the situation. Enjoyed my stay, but the last 2 nights would have cost me $192 regardless if I stayed there or not. It was NOT worth the money I paid.

Building has been recently renovated. Need to upgrade towels! All in all fair accommodations.

Smelled wierd in the hotel room. The ice machine was nasty, there was mold on the ice. Breakfast was very little. Cereal, milk, bread, and bannans.

I would not recommend ever coming here. I stated that I needed a first floor room due to a broken ankle and I was put upstairs anyways. The guy was not very nice about it and also charged me an additional $50 for "incidentals" which was not mentioned at all on the website... I was too tired to argue and figured I'd take it up with the manager in the morning so we go to door 3 which is where our room is and walk inside to go up the stairs... The smell was absolutely horrible and the carpet looked like it never seen a vacuum ever. Upon entering our room it didn't smell much better. It had a strange funk to it. However, it was sort of clean. There was hair in the shower and the tub doesn't look like it gets properly washed. Bed was also old and uncomfortable and the "headboard" was scratched up. The property supposedly offers Continental breakfast.... However their Continental breakfast consisted of only a vending machine and a microwave. We were down at 7 am for breakfast so it isn't like it was 11 am and the food was gone... Id never stay here again and don't recommend anyone else does either. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The rooms there were very Elegant and comfortable. What they lacked in cable or a decent TV they made up for with the hot tub in the room. Yeah, you heard me right hot tub in the room! Not to mention the waterpark accessible to all guests. Amenities or plentiful the cleanliness was impeccable the staff… They were present at least. Not much can be said about them because they were only at the front desk if I were to call. Outside of that, my whole experience overall was extremely pleasant would definitely visit them again.

The Hotel is very run down and dirty, we found the stay very disturbing. Room was not clean and the bedding was dirty and full of hair from someone else. The place smelled like it was cleaned with bleach or something. Was not sure if our vehicles were safe in that parking lot. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Advertise pool and continental breakfast, both "CLOSED" place smells like cigarettes and dirty diapers.

Room was clean and comfortable. The shower handle came off and appeared to have been that way for a while.

No one even at the front desk. The exterior looks like it is from the 1980's. Rooms aren't that bad though. A lot of shady people staying there.

The front lobby of the hotel reeked of weed. The hotel room was grubby and there was mouse poop behind the bathroom door. The rooms were supposed to be non-smoking, but there was smoke pouring in from surrounding rooms. Neighbors and parking lot was loud all night.

I have NEVER been treated badly by a hotel as I was here for which I am requesting full credit of my charges. I will never recommend this property.I was in town for a family funeral, check in the first day went well. On the second day, upon my return from a funeral I found the lobby dark, no one at the front desk, later learned there was a power outage.I called the desk from the room phone but there was no power, then from my cell phone but no one answered despite several calls.Going to the front desk, follwing a large black man who was upset about the poiwer outage as he lost internet connection. Not knowing if he used the front desk phone to call the attendant as noted by a sign at the front desk, so I called out IS ANYONE HERE? With no response,I slapped my palm on the counter twice, finally a man followed by a woman came from the office behind the front desk asking what we needed. We responded that we wanted to know about the power and were told it was out for Appleton. I said I just drove through Appleton and there was power.Likewise nearby businesses had power.I then said that my room had not been cleaned or linens changed and was told they dont provde housekeeping services.I asked why, but was told they dont. The man then began to berate me for slapping on the counter, telling me not to do that, to use the phone; we both said the phones dont work! He then told me to get out, that I cant act as I did towards him!I was outraged and stated that. Please contact me directly.

The bathroom was dirty and unswept, the backsplash under the mirror was dirty with toothpaste stains. The room was not vacuumed and a tire pressure gauge was left under the bed. There was a drink stain on the wall next to the window.
I asked for the room to be cleaned and was told that the rooms are cleaned every 3rd day, but they could move us. They came to the room while I was away to “clean” the room. The other guest was in the room but they did not clean the room.

I paid full price for my room but there was no fridge,no desk/chair/lamp and the toilet leaked when flushed. I complained to staff more than once but did not receive any type of compensation. from

This was the scariest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, definitely not worth it for saving a little money. Felt very unsafe and the pictures they have are not an accurate representation of this property.

Very good place to stay for a budget. Beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean. Only 2 complaints is the pool was closed and this app does not update to let you know. Was looking forward to going swimming. Second, there are No towel racks whatsoever in the bathroom to hang towels. At least in the room we stayed in. Never got up early enough to see if there was any breakfast. Said you get a “breakfast item”, but again, never checked it out. Would I stay there again? Probably.

I booked this property on the cheaper end and says they have a pool, they do not have the pool even filled. So I checked out within 10 mins of check in to stay at another hotel and it was non refundable. Do not advertise that you have a pool when you do not!

Said it offered continental breakfast but there was none offered. Staff was not friendly or accommodating.

Total disappointment. Very sketchy and smelt like weed everywhere. Appears to offer long term rentals to locals and was very run down. In desperate need of an overhaul and quite frankly a should not even be listed as an option for lodging in the area.

The breakfast area wasn't open, I don't know how long they haven't had breakfast for, if it was just today or a permanent closure

Don’t make the same mistake I did and book this place. Don’t know when they took the pictures on hotels.com - but they definitely were not taken within the past 40 years. I arrived to the hotel in a sketchy part of Appleton and found a parking lot that was completely riddled with deep potholes. I. front of the building were a group of about a dozen men and women huddled together smoking (evidently the back part of the hotel is also a shelter of some kind). I went in the lobby and immediately smelled dankness and noticed a number of notices written in Sharpie. after waiting a couple of minutes some guy finally came to the desk and I told him I would not be staying at the property because I did not feel safe. He said they would be charging me anyway because I was cancelling the reservation the day of. I pushed back and said I wanted to speak with a manager. He replied that the owner was on site, took my number, and said he would call me later that day. I never did receive a call, but they went ahead and billed my cc anyway, which I will be disputing with the card issuer. Do yourself a favor - read the reviews and find a reputable property. This hotel bills itself a Wyndham property. If that is actually true, Wyndham needs to either invest in bringing this place up to its standards or divest itself of it asap. I booked it because I have stayed at Wyndham hotels in the past and found them modern, clean, and safe. This place is NONE of those things - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Burn holes in bedding, the smell was absolutely horrible. Staff was rude, pool is out of service. Seen another post that it was out of service a month ago. Seen ants in the bathtub. Also read another post that a women had ants crawling over her baby. I explained all this to the front desk and they refused a refund. We did not stay the night.
