Our room was next to the elevator so VERY noisy, even at midnight. Maybe the hotel needs to post reminders to be quiet. It would be nice to have a refill daily of water in the room. Parking near building 4 is minimal. This is a good city for restaurants.

Great stay very clean and quiet. Love the balcony!

Older facility with great breakfast - buffet or a-la-cart! Room was clean but very out dated and musty smelling! Elevators small and noisy. In general staff friendly and helpful.

Great customer service.

The staff at the front desk could have been somewhat more cheerful. Not bad but dull.
And to pay for Wi-Fi that seems to be strange at a hotel if this standard. However, very nice room, good parking and very clean.

My location . Beautiful landscaping. Patio .

Good location and comfortable bed. Only downside is that breakfast isn’t included.

The place was pretty run down and in need of a refresh. The rooms were cleaned well but since they were so run down they didn't seem clean. The breakfast was quite generous and the wait staff attentive. The best was Gio at the front desk who could not have been more accommodating and drove us into the village when necessary.

It was a great location for its proximity to the Claremont colleges! Also, it was comfortable and welcoming. Thanks for the comfy beds and morning coffee! The restaurant patio was also great.

This is a relatively spacious, somewhat dated hotel in close proximity to the Claremont colleges. Our room was clean, albeit quite dark. Air conditioner was quite loud, especially during the night; that said, it worked, which was crucial for visit in mid-August. Overall, staff were friendly and professional. Giving 4 stars rather than 5 because I don’t think value was there for the price.

I stayed for two nights, and both nights had to call the front desk for security because there were people being loud and partying late at night/early in the morning (11pm - 4am). I did not get a good night’s sleep and would not stay again.

Liked everything but would like to have 2 chairs to sit in

Friendly staff and very close to downtown… Plenty of dinning options

Room was clean and comfortable. After signing an agreement to minimize noise after 10pm, I was disappointed that a group on our floor was allowed to run and be loud until almost 1am our second night

Nice area and excellent staff - very friendly and helpful. Bed was a bit soft and the hallways could use a facelift. Other than that it was great!

We put 2 towels on the floor hoping to get replacements but that didnt happen. So now 2 people had to share the 1 remaining towel. Water was in the room day 1...we used it for coffee. No water on day 2. Pillows are too hard and the rumbling noise was coming from the closet. Bldg 3 second floor, I think room 10, and the shower spout was loose in the wall and shower was stuck in "on" position. Maintenance is needed...bathrooms could use fans. You gave us a "free drink" coupon but if there's 2 people, shouldn't you offer both a free drink?
Otherwise the location is good but we only use the room to sleep and do not use the pool or restaurant. This visit was quiet and our parking space was close to the building.
Because we visit Claremont often, we are always looking for tbe best hotel deals.

Nice hotel close to the Claremont Colleges. We were there for a College tour, the staff was nice and friendly. Easy parking. Breakfast was good .

We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor feel of this DoubleTree. The room was nicely sized, the balcony overlooking the garden area gave us a nice place to sit other than on our beds. There is a microwave in the lobby available for guests to use, which was helpful for us. We didn’t use the pool but it looked great. The front desk staff was very friendly. However, there were a couple of issues: the beds were uncomfortable, 2/3 dispensers in the shower were empty (no conditioner or body wash, and the shampoo was watered down to the point that it dripped right through your hand). And, the room walls were thin enough that when the guests in the adjacent room arrived at 2:30 am and began enjoying each other’s company, we were aware of every moment. I would probably stay here again because the good outweighed the bad.

Very nice grounds, nice pool nice patio dining area. Feels very luxurious.

The carpet is dirty, the room smells, there are bugs, it's very uncomfortable, there is noise in the corridor very early in the morning, and the room is not soundproof. Parking is convenient, the hotel's outdoor bar is not bad

Not a great hotel for the price we paid, but not that many choices near Claremont, CA. We stayed there for two nights. Checkin was slow for us. We asked the cleaning service to come half an hour later at 4:30pm, and we came back late night to see our room was not cleaned.

First room had plumbing problems. Was not notified plumber was coming in and surprised to find bathroom plumbing taken apart when we returned from lunch. They did respond to my request to change rooms

Highly recommend this hotel. Quiet, clean and restaurant on site. Rooms were clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The only thing I’d change was to offer microwaves in the rooms.
