The hotel has potential but they didn't do a good job cleaning the room. Then on top of that I found and killed a roach the next morning. The beds were real hard also.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was in need of some upgrades. The bathroom had mold and water damage on the walls, the smell of cigarette smoke was throughout the property. There were buckets with cigarette buts outside the property and several people were standing outside their doors smoking.

Definitely was not what I was expecting. It is right off the highway and the road noise is very loud. They have outside entrance and it was a bit sketchy. Our deadbolt didn’t work, the ac sounded like an Ice machine but they did do a nice job trying to update it. I paid over $200 for our room but it was not worth over $129 tops.

The hotel was a little run down. We could smell pot in the room from the time we checked in. We had to go to Wal-Mart to buy Lysol to cover up the smell. The guests on both sides of us were loud and you could hear them clearly through the walls. As we were going to bed, the smell of pot started filling up the room again possibly from the rooms on each side of us. I let the front desk know and her response was that they would check out those rooms when they left and charge them if needed. I didn't expect a free night but at least apologize and maybe follow up...

Great stay and clean room but the parking isnt great if you're on the back side of the property. We had to park on the other side of the hotel and the room was on the other side. The hot water in the shower isnt hot at all,very luke warm glad it wasnt winter month when i staued there.

The staff were very nice. The room was clean enough. But the shower was pretty dingy. Some pink mold in the corners of the tub. Nothing bad enough that if I had to stay here again I would have a problem with it.

Definitely not what I expected. Seems to cater to long term contractors from out of the area. A lot of them hanging around outside. Probably not comfortable feeling for woman traveling alone. And front desk was less than friendly.

This motel looks nice and clean and safe from the outside but it is not what it seems. There are apparently homeless people staying there and begging for money to pay their ‘rent’. Not to mention the roaches,not just bugs, but roaches in the rooms. My mother and aunt had to empty all of their belongings and shake them out before loading them in the car just so no bugs went along. Needless to say this was the first and it will be the last time we will stay at Auburn Lodge. Do Better!

The staff was very nice and friendly. However my sheets were wrinkled like someone was just on it, and there was hair on the bed and pillow as well as in the shower. I requested new sheets, and the staff did give me new ones. The cereal at breakfast was also stale, the only thing we had at breakfast was the yogurt. The room requested was a non-smoking room, but when we opened the door, we were hit with the smell of cigarette smoke.

My boyfriend and I were originally placed in room 107. The room did not have a refrigerator or a phone. Since I had my two puppies with me, they found a roach and brought it up onto the bed while we were at the vending machine and chewed it and it was gross. I’ve then went to the front desk and she switched us to room 106.

I thought the room was very clean and newly updated. Comfortable bed, remote for tv didn’t work, good location for my business there. I was disappointed that a few rooms away were rented to out of town workers who were very disrespectful in that they were up at 5am for work and were outside their rooms conversing extremely loud and language wasn’t the best. If you stay, make sure you request the other side of the building if there are there type of workers staying there.

I booked the Auburn Lodge for my wife for business travel. Upon arrival there were several men hanging around in the parking lot and on the balcony staring at her as she drove in the parking lot. She was very uncomfortable and left without checking in and went to dinner, hoping they would be gone when she returned. After she returned they were still hanging out. The all stopped and watched her as see drove through again which scared her being a female alone. She left and paid for a different hotel done the road. Hotels.com was contacted, situation explained and they said they would contact Auburn Lodge to get refund. Hotels.com sent a generic email back stating that they could not issue a refund due to policy. My wife had no way of knowing in advance of her arrival that she would be faced with an unsafe situation. I contacted the general manager and she insisted that hotels.com had not contacted her about the decision. She then gave me the runaround that she couldn’t issue the refund without hotels.com initiating it. Hotels.com has failed to respond to multiple emails. The obviously don’t care. Be aware. Don’t stay at the Auburn Lodge and don’t trust Hotels.com with your travel plans!!

I’m a young female and I was traveling solo. Stayed at the auburn lodge for a night and had no troubles at all. Comfortable space and had great sleep! Gave a 4 star for cleanliness bc the floors were slightly sticky but everything else was great. Only 5 minutes from the university
