Arrived a little early and our room was ready for us. Spacious accommodation and comfortable beds made the stay enjoyable. At the end of the hallway was quiet and relaxing.

Classic Marriott, had everything we needed in a great location.

This hotel is across the street from PPG arena. it's a 2 minute walk very good location for events. Hotel was clean, staff was attentive and personable. The rooms do not have updated tech stuff so you will need wall adapters. We had a very nice view of the city. The breakfast buffet was well above average. There is a connected parking garage. We paid $30 for parking there.

Very convenient to the concert venue.

The hotel seems preety old and basic for a downtown Marriott. Parking is terrible.and its not really walking friendly to the heart of the city.

We enjoyed our stay! We stayed on a Saturday night after attending a concert at PPG. It was great to park, check in and get our things to the room prior to the concert. The hotel is right across the street from PPG. Check in was quick and simple, our room was ready when we got there at 3pm so we were able to check in early. We loved our room, it was huge, and clean. The bed was super comfortable and we slept great. It is nice having the bar and restaurant in the lobby. Very good experience. We will definitely be staying again when attending events at PPG.

The picture that they have posted are not up to date. There is no pool but they have posted they do, I had 4 very unhappy kids. We arrived about 2 am and went upstairs to our room which was soaked with water from the window to the bed, how did they miss that when cleaning. And cleaning the tub was broken, it had a plastic looking sheet above the crack, not a safety thing for kids. There was a lot more, don’t have enough room to type all.

I was there for a concert on Labor Day Weekend. Service was excellent. Hotel was fine. Disappointed we 'paid' for a breakfast, but when we went down, customers were leaving because they had waited 45 minutes for service and got none. I personally did not wait because I didnt have the time that morning to see for myself. Otherwise, a very nice hotel with friendly front desk service

The staff was great, the rooms were pretty clean, and the beds were comfy. That being said, the rooms are really dated and have issues. The first room had no mattress pad and the AC was broken. After switching rooms, the 2nd room’s phone was broken, tub mat kept popping up as water got under it, and the shower flow and temperature handle was all messed up. Lots of cracks in the wall and the grout around the shower was all cracked. The rooms definitely need some love. Other than that, it was nice.

Service and room were good but A/C was not working in the room when we arrived . Notified front counter and they were sending someone to look at it although we were heading out on the town at the time. Returned at night and room was a little cooler but still warm .

We arrived around 5 pm to find the valet was extremely backed up so we opted to self park. We walked in the lobby to find a massive line waiting to check in. It took about 20 minutes to get to the desk only to be told our room wasn’t ready. We were in town for a concert so ended up getting ready in the lobby bathroom along with several other guests. Our room was finally ready around 6 pm. When we returned from the concert we were informed the kitchen was closed, despite the sold out hotel, and no food was available. The next morning we opted to hit the lobby Starbucks for breakfast because we needed to get on the road, only to find they were sold out of all breakfast options. Then our parking garage ticket wouldn’t scan in the payment machine. No one at the front desk could help us, they referred us to the valet who said they were having a lot of issues with the tickets that morning and there was someone in the garage who could help us. There was not. We hit the help button at the exit and a grumpy security guard said it was our fault for putting the ticket near a magnet (we did not). Overall it was not a great experience. The only positive was the proximity to the PPG Paints Arena. I find it hard to believe this is the first time the hotel was ever sold out, the lack of preparation by a Marriott was extremely disheartening.

Check in took over 30 minutes. There were only two check-in clerks available..two clerks walked away once we arrived.
Busy time during a Springsteen concert but Marriott wasn’t prepared.
The Lobby area which should have been excited for the concert was obviously ticked-off.

My husband and I stayed at the Cambria Hotel and Wednesday and Thursday and had such a pleasant experience that it was hard not to compare the Marriott stay on Sunday. The Marriott staff was overall not friendly and having people wait until $4:00 on the dot to register was ridiculous. The parking is horrible and we were not told that the valet parking was only $10 more than what it cost to just park. Cambria parking was free.
I would say for the price, the Marriott was way over priced for such an old building and our room was hot, the air never really cooled the room.

One of the nicest non-resort hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Everything about it was A .

The hotel is beautiful and our room was clean and as described. We had a beautiful view of the city from the 18th floor and the beds were very comfy. A lot of complimentary items for guests and very nice and helpful staff. Only complaint is that my fiance and I walked to a nearby gas station less than .5 miles away and were harassed to the point that we felt unsafe and had to Uber back to the hotel. I would not recommend leaving the hotel at night if you plan to be walking.

Not their fault but the "T" train wasn't working and that made it difficult to get to the Pirate game

I have contacted the Bonvoy customer service a few times to try and confirm why I was charged for internet after the front desk clerk told me to sign up for Bonvoy to avoid the Internet charge. Very unfortunate that they either lied or have not fixed the billing charge as I have requested explanation.

My only complaint is the lack of free parking in the area or a pass from the hotel to the parking garage for a reduced price on parking in the attached parking garage

Very nice staff. Went out of there way to help us navigate the city. Easy walk to PNC Park.
