The hotel looks just renovated.
Bathroom products are high quality, I appreciated a lot the refilling idea (instead of one use products). I liked the wood furniture in the room, and the big size bed.

The hotel is modern and has great design. The room was so comfortable, very clean with crisp bedding. The decor was minimalistic and modern which I love. Also, the buffet breakfast in the morning was delicious with a great selection.

They could make more of an effort to have rooms ready early for guests requesting early check in. When someone has made an overnight flight and requested early arrival and check in, housekeeping should be instructed to get those rooms ready as a priority.

Great hotel, with lovely staff. Only downside was that the church bells from the church next doors went off several times during night.

Overall the hotel was good and my stay was fine. The hotel has an excellent and convenient location. The staff were supportive, attentive and efficient.
Only two downsides, the refillable drinking water bottle had mold inside and the pillows could be more supportive.
I would stay there again because of its convenience and location.

I really enjoyed my one night stay in this hotel that is ideally located in front of the Clock Tower and near the Zug lake.

I first stayed at the hotel in 1969! My return was a delight! The room was comfortable and the shower and bathroom everything anyone would want! The front desk had lively extremely intelligent people with great personalities and sense of humor! The breakfast was wonderful and met every expectation! I met the owner who was the son of the owner when I first stayed at the hotel!

The staff was great and the rooms very clean. The only issue we had, and this was significant, is that we were not informed ahead of time that the hotel was under construction. During one of the days, there was no running water in the rooms from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. For me that was ok as I was at the office. My fiancée on the other hand, who stayed at the hotel, could not shower or use the bathroom in the room during that time! That is NOT acceptable! Hotels in Zug are expensive, we payed more than 300 Francs per night for a regular hotel. For that price we expected to at least have been informed of the construction at time of booking so we could make an informed decision, and to have planned accordingly.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel facilities are a little basic but the hotel is comfortable and well positioned in the quaint old part of Zug, close to the lake shore.
