A long way from activities but an elegant hotel

Room was very hot because of the bay view but at night the ac caught up to the sun baking the room, it was ver cool seeing the G7 meeting area on the first floor

Stunning hotel with great amenities. Room was very comfortable. I got an upgrade due to being a VIP hotel.
It’s a little out the way but free shuttle bus to the train station and also public bus stops at the hotel.

Beautiful view and comfortable clean room also nice Select Breakfast

Really lovely hotel. There is a free shuttle bus from the north exit at Hiroshima Station to the hotel. We only found out about it once we got to the hotel, however, the public transport to get to the hotel from the train station was easy to follow.
The hotel offers a ferry service to Miyajima Island from the hotel, which is fantastic!
There is also a small convenience shop in the hotel-which sells cheap drinks compared to the hotel restaurants and cafe.
We ate at the rooftop restaurant. The food was good but needed more variety for a buffet and for the price.
Rooms are a little outdated, but are really clean.
The hotel is a little far from town but was nice to have a little getaway from the city areas.
4.0
No where to eat if you didn’t purchase $30 breakfast. Cafe opening needs to be earlier for those catching a ferry.
5.0
It’s a bit secluded but we picked it because it was on the water. Super easy to take ferry right outside hotel to go to top attractions. The hotel has multiple restaurants, shopping, travel agency and a convenience store. We didn’t drive nor take advantage of everything the hotel has to offer but we found it easy to catch a cab and enjoyed our stay.

Would really not recommend this hotel for anyone. Only upside to this hotel is the amazing view. Location is not near anything and only dinner options are at the hotel, which is overpriced and really not that good. AND you need reservations for all 3 restaurants. Arriving at the hotel after a long journey, just to be told we could not get any table in any of the restaurant. Finally got a table after really trying everything, and got the most expensive restaurant and there was plenty of available tables! Really bad service of almost all staff at the reception.
Pool is extra (high)charge, spa treatment expensive and not available for the day. Everything is extra charge.
Breakfast has really nice view, but only Japanese food, even though they called it European buffet.
Really disappointed about this hotel. Have had the most amazing experience everywhere else we have stayed in Japan, but this hotel was only disappointing and really not value for the money.
Beds are really hard and uncomfortable and room really outdated.

Very well located to the boat leading to the Miyajima island. Great Japanese restaurant on the 20th floor.
5.0
Ocwan view, boat ride, breakfast on the skyfloor.

Courteous staff at front desk and bell desk.

Rooms are dated, in need of refresh. Door fell off of refrigerator cabinet; carpet, walls and furnishings all clearly 30 years old. The upcharge to use the pool is absurdly high; 20 dollars per person per day. Staff was friendly and food in restaurants was excellent. The views are AMAZING. The ferry to Itsukushima was convenient and a fun way to travel to this island location. It was faster and cheaper than a cab, must make reservations each way. The hotel is a bit remote from Hiroshima proper, so if you’re looking to spend a lot of time in the city you might choose another location.

Paid a little extra to secure an ocean view (v's city and mountain view. We really enjoyed watching the life of the natural harbour go about daily activities.
Hotel is remote to eateries, shops and other commercial facilities apart from what is in the hotel complex.
It is central to ferries for island access, there are local walks in natural areas around the hotel and regular buses (resort and local) to Hiroshima city,
Lovely little Yakiniku restaurant LaGoon is an easy walk from the hotel.

Hotel is superbe regarding the incredible views 360 degrees into the bay!! Amazing!!! The pool though is ridiculous.. 20 dollars a day for a tiny pool for kids .. no real swimming is possible ! That's ridiculous.. the room is lovely with a gorgeous view . Charging for the gym again very weird. The restaurant on the top floor. 23rd floor has a great buffet ... lovely food but every day the same and that's a little bit strange ...but I would definitely come back !!

Everything is awesome. And the boat to take to you to Miyajima is just right at the pier of this same hotel!

Best hotel ever! The rooms were nice and clean and this was a G7 hotel which was very cool to find out. The view of the island across was amazing and the ferry to the island was only 25 minutes. Definitely worth staying in! Also make sure to check out the gallery for the G7 meeting. Enjoy!

The Grand Prince Hotel is a beautiful property. The staff went above and beyond to assist us. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a lovely onsen and pool. The hotel is outside of Hiroshima downtown, about a 20 minute bus ride. The bus stop is right at the hotel front door. They offer a free shuttle service to and from the train station (needs to be booked in advance for arrival). They also have their own ferry which will take you to Miyajima Island, for a fee. I would highly recommend this property.

We like the room because it’s a ocean view but it was a little disappointed because there’s no smart tv bec we want to watch You tube but it’s ok the hotel is really amazing bec we glad to saw the place&pics of G7summit..again thank you so much…

The customer service was top notch at this hotel. It didn't matter who we spoke to (front desk, waitstaff, gift shop attendant) everyone was very helpful and welcoming. I made a note in my reservation (on Expedia, a third party website) that we would need a crib and they paid attention. Not only was the crib there, but they provided a robe and tiny slippers. Granted, my child is 10 months old but it's the thought that counts! Breakfast is not complimentary but I do believe eating at their restaurants are worth it. The food always tasted fresh and was a major bang for our buck. The only issue we had was the air conditioning. Our 4 day trip consisted of sunny days ranging between 89 to 95 degrees Celsius. Even with the levels turned down low, our room would still be warm. I would still recommend this hotel, I would just return in the cooler months

Staff and Service was excellent.

This was an amazing hotel with stunning views and staff that went above and beyond to help us. The free bus to Hiroshima station was very helpful and the jetty for the ferry to Miyajima Island were very convenient. Breakfast at the top of the hotel was fantastic.
Dinner options are a little limited if you are wanting something light or not too expensive.

Secluded upscale hotel on a peninsula. Sore of the 2023 G7 summit. Grand and beautiful lobby. Great view from the top floor restaurant. Be sure to book a room with ocean view.

Excellent services and great staff, beautiful view from rooms, handy transport , quiet location. Really loved it and definitely will go there again.

Spa and gym are extra cost far from city center

It’s a nice place, but a little far from the rest of the city.

Beautiful views.. room size too small
2.5
This hotel is out of the main area of central Hiroshima so it’s a bit of a long bus ride into town. They do have a free shuttle service but the times that it leaves are not very useful. Nevertheless it’s a great hotel and worth the extra money it may cost compared to others. Has fantastic views over the Port and the islands. The breakfast is great- if crowded. There’s local walking trails nearby. Easy to get out to the Tori gate island by direct ferry. Bathroom was small for a 4/5 star place. Quiet and peaceful.
2.5
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, great room with a great view! I would definitely recommend. They have a pier that offers a shuttle to and from Miyajima Island which is home to Itsukushima Shrine. I am very pleased with my stay!
2.0
The location was not convenient but the service was amazing. The staff was really helpful and polite. The bus makes it easier to get back to the station but does not run early.
5.0
Excellent hotel, close to ferry and trail. However it’s far from town.
1.5
The hotel is quite impressive but a very long way outside of hiroshisma.
The room we got was tiny and really unacceptable. For the price. It cost one of the most expensive hotels we stayed in during our trip to Japan, but also the least favourite.
2.0
Beautiful property, large rooms with great ocean views. This hotel is 30 minutes away from the Hiroshima Memorial and the train station, the hotel provide free transportation from hotel to train station starting at 9:10 am. City buses are available too at a cost and not that frequent. If you take the street cart, there is a 1km walk to the property. If you are an early raiser this hotel is not for you due to the fact of the location. This hotel is located in an area with no other restaurants or shops; food prices are on the high side.
5.0
Secluded properly with beautiful views
Ferry to Miyajima is available from the hotel
I will go back again

Great property and highly recommend! Super easy for day trip and ferry ride to Miyajima with the pier straight out front of the hotel. Recommend booking room with ticket included. Property also has shuttle to Hiroshima station making it so easy to use Shinkansen.
Was recently the host property of G7 summit so really cool to see photos and setup.
The hotel is a tad out of town but only about a 15-20 min taxi to peace memorial.
5.0
Great place just not a great place if you are trying to be in the heart of Hiroshima
5.0
Perfect location for ocean view. Nice jogging path, great room
2.0
This hotel is pricey for what it offers. While the views are stunning, the rooms feel outdated, reminiscent of the 80s. It's quite isolated from the city, limiting dining choices, and meals at the on-site restaurants can be costly. On the upside, it's conveniently close to Miyajima Island, although reaching the island from Hiroshima port is just as feasible. Keep in mind, it's about a 40-minute bus journey from Hiroshima Station.
