Staff were very friendly, amenities were excellent,if you're looking for a Club
Med with lots of noise this isn't for you, a great place to relax and have a drink at the swim up bar.

Food and beverage selection in the all-inclusive package are not that good and alcohol drinks is limited for domestic beverages only no import.
Staff is friendly but the hotel itself is a bit outdated, shower is great and the room are big

I would highly recommend this resort for a relaxing no stress holiday. And the All Inclusive package is wonderful

Lovely hotel with welcoming and friendly staff. We got a large clean refurbished room with balcony that faced the sea. We had the all inclusive package which was well worth it. 24 hour a la carte restaurant as well as buffet lunches and dinners and a fine dining restaurant all included. Full drinks package with a large selection of cocktails also included. Great pool with plenty of loungers and also a private beach with loungers.

Well located, but our initial room allocation did not match what the property photo's depict. The facility did change our room but the subsequent one had a mouldy / sewerage stench which we had to endure for an additional night until they could change our room again. After this our holiday improved, the staff were very nice, helpful and respectful...

Great area, quiet and very nice to walk around

Very kind and generous staff always willing to help. Hotel is a bit outdated. All inclusive deals have very limited food options. Overall, the experience has been very good.

Nice hotel but not a 5 star. Lovely beach and very kind staff throughout the hotel.
Breakfast ok - didn’t eat lunch or dinner there. All inclusive not worth it … Mandala restaurant up the road has lovely food and options.

The good, the bad and the ugly:
The good: small and nice resort by the sea with chairs and umbrellas. Staff is very nice, polite and trying to help.
The bad: very limited choice of food, we had all inclusive package but it was the same kind of food every day, although they tried different themes and they had dinner buffet by the beach with some entertainment like shows or duo concerts. The all inclusive concept here is not like all inclusive resorts in Mexico.
There is no air conditioning anywhere except your room and you are lucky if it works well.
There are a lot of mosquitoes so be careful especially at night.
The ugly: the beach, unfortunately it was very dirty, not the blue turquoise color that someone might expect. A lot of garbage on the sea that came to shore every day. The other not good thing about the beach is the low tide that happens every afternoon when you don’t have any water at all to swim. Kind of waste to go to Bali for the beach

Such a nice hotel, staff very tentative.
Food was nice, good variety.
We where upgraded to a pool side room, which was an added bonus.
Most definitely go back again

All staff is very sweet and attentive, ready to help and share a smile. Semi-private beach is a plus, definitely recommend.

This is a really nice resort but 5 star is a bit of a stretch. The lobby and gardens are beautiful, rooms and some of the interiors are very nice, but not amazing. Restaurant food was ok. It’s worth noting that this is primarily an all-inclusive focused family resort, so not the best choice for a solo traveler. The staff, of course, were amazing (it’s Bali). Nothing really negative, it’s a very nice resort just not quite the 5 star level for me. If you’re looking for luxury it’s not quite the right bit of Nusa Dua either.

The cultural structure, pictures , live ponds. The cleanliness. Amazing staff.

We spent a week at Sol by Melia for our honeymoon and our stay was great! The resort is quite small but not overly crowded which was great. We were greeted the moment we arrived and was given a lovely cake for our honeymoon celebration. We opted for the all- inclusive package so technically everything was included except for premium alcohol like rose and etc which was fine. The overall presentation of the resort is good but can notice some cracks here and there within the buildings but you can also tell they are working to either fix or maintain it which is good. The food is very good! You basically get buffet during breakfast, lunch and dinner but there’s also a a la carte that is 24 hours! They also have daily activities like live music or fire dance depending on which nightly dinner event you go to. There’s also snack bars like gelato or coconut booth you can go to whenever!

From the beginning of our first day to the very last second of our last, EVERYTHING & EVERYONE was exemplary. What an absolutely amazing experience.
Sol is a fabulous choice for vacation in Bali.

Great beach hotel

The property sits in a perfect spot for the beautiful sunrise, I enjoyed every sunrise that I stayed at the hotel. However the property itself is kind of outdated and needs more improvements in order to attract the return customers.

I liked it because of the every evening there was entertainment. Property location right on the beach.
I didn't like it's only one pool and its all one depth.

Great staff. Shoutout to Risma and Annie at the Kitchen Restaurant and Aguun from the front desk. All made us felt like family and very welcoming.

I was a bit disappointed in all inclusive option because on the day of arrival they were pretty much closing doors on me saying “bar is closed”, “pool kitchen is closed” when official time of closing was 30-40 min away, so I had to wait for more than an hour before I could eat anything in the main restaurant. Its very beautiful hotel but there were not much to do for fun, just relax by the pool, because ocean water is gone till after 12 pm. The sidewalk on the beach was great for walkers, runners, strollers and alike, and no sale people randomly walking, felt really safe!

We stayed there for 2 nights and it was just alright. The pool was nice and it had an easy beach access.

Very relaxing. Nice staff always very helpful and attentive. Food was abundant, The Kitchen, I would say it was a little too much food. Great pool and bars. Evening entertainment was culturally pleasing.

My daughter and her husband stayed here for their honeymoon and absolutely loved it.

Property very old and dated and showing it’s age, some staff were awesome and friendly but not all. Food was ok but kinda average.

The only thing I didnt like about the property was being way over charged for a very quick ride to the airport. It really felt we were being taking advantage of. So I would suggest organising your own transport. It's not a lot of money - it's principle.

Property is clean but a bit tired. Staff were excellent and friendly. The room had a very hard bed and we had to get massages to relax back and neck. The pool was great, breakfast was good but there are better places to stay in nusa dua. The shower was poor had no pressure and had to chase the water to get wet. It was ok but nothing special at all but again the staff were excellent. Won’t be staying there again

Quiet location. Food ok. Beds very hard and uncomfortable

We got a double bed room with the all inclusive package. Certain staff were super friendly and always shared a laugh. Especially Sutarsa, he works at the bar and is awesome. The main downside to staying here was that not all of the drinks on the menu were included in the all inclusive package. Which is understandable but was a little disappointing considering the price point. The room service was amazing, and they would be super quick to restock the mini bar. The food was okay but it was nice we were able to eat at whatever hour due to the one 24 hour restaurant. Beds were alright. Wish there was more of a discount on the spa for guests however the massage I got was good.

We loved our stay at SOl, the hotel is beautiful, staff members were very friendly, breakfasts delicious and everything is clean and comfortable. We will definitively book at this hotel for our holidays in Bali

Very disappointed with our stay. We saw a cockroach twice scuttling around the bathroom sink. We took a video and photo of the cockroach and went to the manager to complain. Our complaint was ignored, the senior manager could not be bothered to even see us. We booked all-inclusive for four nights, surely you would expect better customer resolution skills!

all you can eat and drink is very good, but rooms are dated with many faults
