A classic hotel in a very imposing building. This hotel was our first stop in Japan. It is very well located making it very easy to get to the biggest railways station in the city - The Shinjuku station (both Subway and train station). Someone looking for information Will probably find that the station is nearby, at just a 5 min walk, but the truth is even better: the hotel is located inside a complex of buildings and the station is inside this complex. Very easy to get inside the station from the second floor.
Another good surprise is that the hotel houses a Bus Stop of the LIMOSINE bus. If you are traveling packed, LIMOSINE bus is the best way to go from the aiports to the city center.
It is a little bit pricy for our reality, but at the end it was tottaly worth it as saving time in Tokyo is always the best choice.
The rooms have a very nice view from the city.
A bad aspect is that it is a little bit aged but at the end the final balance is positive

Good location right by Shinjuku station and mins from Takashimaya, Hands stores. Only problem is the taxi driver had a bit of problem finding the hotel. We got lost trying to get back at night cos it’s not easy to spot the hotel given the 3 levels of ground. Even my gps got confused. Exit E14 to the south. Landmarks include My Lord dept store at the other end of the hotel, Times Square and Tim Ho Wan. Hotel is not a standalone but housed within the Century Southern Tower, from level 20 to 35.

One of my all time favorite hotels which I always use when I visit Tokyo.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean. The panorama rooms are wonderful.
Great situation close to good shopping and lovely parks.
Hard to fault.

Great location , tremendous staff.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I had read other reviews which gave me cause for concern but my concerns were unfounded. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the Shinjuku station in a very safe and clean part of Tokyo. The room was a good size and had a seating area as well as the large bed. It was clean and comfortable.

Super hotel in terrific location right next to Shibuya station. Great views from every room.Ultra clean and modern with excellent friendly staff . Breakfast was very good with plenty of options including made to order omelette. Only 2 very minor observations.,rooms could do with more storage and tv stations are limited for non Japanese speakers. Would very happily stay here again.

Surprisingly large room for a hotel in Tokyo.

First time stayed at this hotel was about 12yrs ago. I recall it was wonderful, it was clean, very centrally located in Shinjuku, service was awesome. After stayed here for a few more times, we kinna stayed elsewhere due to the food choices in other hotel. This time, after not staying at this hotel for a long long time, we decided to stay here again. It was a bad choice. The hotel condition deterrioted tremendously. There were stuffs (dirt) on the carpet outside my room on the hallway throughout my stay, which tells me that the hotel staff NEVER vacuum the carpet (we stayed for over 2 weeks!). Inside the room, the condition wasn't good neither, the furnitures were chipped, wall paper torn, wall corners chipped ... towels thin / old, Just NOT what it used to. Service wasn't way different than before - got alot worst. It very likely will be our last time staying at this hotel.

Wonderful stay at this centrally located hotel. Short walk to Shinjuku JR and metro stations. The staff were extremely courteous and efficient. Breakfast was a bargain and well worth booking prior to your stay.

The facilities are old, but the location is very good

Always good

Pre-cruise. Very nice hotel convenient to restaurants/entertainment in Tokyo.

Great location. Staff are friendly and speak excellent English.

This hotel is extremely well located within walking distance to two subway stations and Shinjuku JR station. The room was clean, comfortable and modern. The room was supposed to be non smoking but there was an odor of smoke. The breakfast was fabulous. The staff was attentive and the view from the room was amazing.

Very convenient location near Shinjuku Station. Near shopping and restaurants, but away from the red light district. Close to Takashimaya and Lumine malls. We felt safe roaming around the area at night. Hotel is a bit dated but clean. Room and bathroom are on the small size by Anerican standard. We are petite, but with luggages, there wasn't much walk room. Staff are friendly and helpful. Friendly Limosine bus stop in the front. Free assortment of toiletries in the lobby. Self check in and check out. They offer a Yamato luggage service. Basic hotel that met our needs. I would stay here again for the location.

Nice modern hotel. Good breakfast and great location. I would stay here again.
4.6
The most convenient hotel near Shinjuku station. Highly recommended.

Central hotel
4.6
Best hotel if you want to be next to Shinjuku station. Takashimaya is just across a bridge.
Nice big room with a good view. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.
4.6
The second floor access to the pavilion provides access to all of Shinjuku.
4.6
Booked for central location with reasonable price and the fact the limousine bus stopped here. Took a taxi to downtown, not sure how long it would take to walk. Overall quite good.
4.6
The hotel was very clean. Not much English spoken at front desk. The hotel bfast was varied and plentiful. Located near shops. There is no concierge. There are other restaurants nearby.

We loved the service, especially from Yamada!! The hotel was very clean and comfortable! The ice and water on each floor was very appreciated after those hot days. We also liked that the hotel was so close to the Toei metro lines (E and S). We would definitely stay again.

This is a great place to stay, close to everything and walkable.

Typical travel hotel, clean and convenient. I did not like the breakfast service due to the following reason: we were asked to leave the breakfast hall because it was 10:30 am. We took our meals to the table and were eating breakfast then a worker/manager requested us to leave because its lunch time. We were not planning to order more food but try to finish a meal and it was disturbing to see food being removed because of time.
The next day elder people were eating beyond designated hours (breakfast) while we were required to leave the day before.

Housekeeping is excellent.
Breakfast is dull.
Facilities close to non existence, no swimming, etc etc
4.6
I booked the panoramic room with insect bite.
4.6
Room cleanliness and shower facilities are good. It’s even better if it’s standing shower. Bed is very low, mattress support average and pillow too soft. Housekeeping had done a great job! Overall satisfied with our stay.
4.6
Convenient location. Up to standard catering and service. Reasonable prices.
4.6
Everything was great: easy check-in, wonderful breakfast, 100% cleanliness, nice room, outstanding service.
4.6
Very convenient and great view.
4.6
During check in, I asked the hotel staff if gold membership of hotel.com would likely have an upgrade of room but the staff did not know about it and not really care to check and just simply made a negative reply. Maybe my information as to gold membership of hotel.com was not really correct. Disappointed.

This hotel is pretty much connected to the Shinjuku train station so very convenient to get around (although we hardly used the system, we mostly walked everywhere).
It is a large hotel, the rooms are small by US standards, but that is to be expected in Japan. They were clean and met our needs. The breakfast buffet is good with a variety of options and the service is good. Although one time I asked for directions to a restaurant where I was meeting a friend living in Japan and she gave the wrong directions, and we ended up having to grab a taxi as to not be too late getting to dinner.
There are lots of dining and shopping options right outside your doorstep, which was nice and convenient. The area is very busy, but we were on a high floor and it was quiet in our room.
4.6
So many great things about this hotel. The corner room has amazing view, Top customer service, great location (near Shinjuku station but the hotel feels very quiet).
