Our room felt damp and sticky. When we initially came inside, it smelled like smoke. Sure enough, I found an empty pack of cigarettes under the couch. I informed the gentleman who checked us in. He seemed dismissive and didn’t even bother to take any notes. The other front desk attendee came up to me to ask what my room number was (because the other guy obviously didn’t remember) so she can alert the GM.
One good thing about this place is that it’s conveniently adjoining to the Food Hall, which we enjoyed. It’s nearby the Public Museum too. But, that’s about as good as it gets.

The room was nice, however we did have issues with our shower valve. It was very finicky and we could not get it to stay at one warm temperature. We also enjoyed the pool, however there wasn’t a bathroom in the pool area, but outside of the pool area. The parking ramp was also under construction and it was extremely difficult to navigate through because there were not enough signs directing where to go to get out. We did very much enjoy the access to the Third Street Market Hall!

Great Staff. 3rd Street market was wonderful

It was good overall.

Walkable and close to train station. Next to market which was a great plus. Pool was nice but could probably use a deep cleaning.

We were very happy with our stay. The room was clean, the beds were comfy, and it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We love that it is connected to the 3rd Street Market Hall. So many dining options and fun things for the kids to do. Our kids can’t wait to come back again.

Very nice hotel, close to everything. Will stay again when in the area.

Great location to stay. Lots of places within walking distance to enjoy with adults and kids.

Everything was clean, staff was nice — the only complaint would be the smell and temperature of the room. The room smelled like mildew/musty & we kept the A/C at or below 64 degrees and it was still hot and humid in the room. I can’t talk on all the rooms , just ours.

We love the Courtyard. Our second time staying there and the first with our kids. The hotel itself is awesome. We got a king bedroom suite for not much more than a standard room. The room is very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast in the lobby is amazing. The fact that it's connected to the 3rd Street Market seals the deal. We had lunch and dinner there with the kids and there were still places we wanted to try. Self parking was easy and basically connected to the hotel. This place has become our go-to!

Elevators need to be updated and though our room was very clean there was a smell of bleach

Hotel was very convenient and attached to the Market place which is such a fun location. The staff was the friendliest I have experienced in all of my stays at hotels.

Very clean and super convenient location!

The hotel is very nice. There's a lot of restaurants and stores walking distance. Also, a very nice park across the street. The rooms are good size. The only thing i really did not like were the litte hard pillows. Not good for a stomach sleeper :(

This place was great. There's shopping, food, and a game area connected to the hotel. We will definitely stay here again.

Centrally located and the 3rd Street food hall. We stayed for 2 nights, only thing we didn’t like was the room was not cleaned for the 2nd day and we did not have the do not disturb sign on the door and the bed was uncomfortable.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was right diwntown and in easy walking distance to Riverwalj, Summerfest and 3rd Avenue shops!

The property was nice and the bedrooms very comfortable. I slept very well. There’s a food hall connected to the hotel which was incredibly convenient and the food is good.
My only concern was as I was resting in my room , some kids tried to get into my room. It wasn’t a problem so much so I ignored it. However a few minutes later , some random person actually keyed into and opened my door. I called the front desk and let them know and they weren’t sure how that had happened. My room was 232 and they said that a couple and two kids had checked into the room beside me and that somehow maybe they’d been accidentally given my key.

I really liked how the beds were comfy and they had access to the hotel from the parking complex.

Good location. Liked the pool. Loved the ease to 3rd street market

Overall pretty delectable if I do say so my self. Rooms could have used a lil more cleaning. Big ole coffee stain on the wall under the desk. Was only annoying when I was using the desk to read my sweet new “Bashful Lil Octopus” pop up book, cause my SICK new Donatello Ninja Turtle socks got stuck to the wall (i know Michelangelo’s better but that’s all they had) super friendly staff tho! Wouldn’t say no to staying there again!

Dirty, hair in shower, hard towels, bed stiff like a board and totally uncomfortable. Will never be back.

I've stayed at this hotel many times and you get what you pay for. Good location and very good staff!

Overall, the convenience of the property was the driving factor in the selection.
The room could have been cleaned a little better as I found a roll of tape and a piece of chewed, rock hard chewing gum under the edge of the sofa.

Blood stain on the comforter. Booked 3 king rooms, got 1 king, 2 queens and a 1 queen room. Hotel rooms need an update. Great location connected to the 3rd street market.

Mostly enjoyed our stay at Courtyard in Milwaukee. The desk and breakfast staff were great. There were a few things I didn’t like:
1.) parking was terrible. Expedia stated on site parking, but it fails to tell you it’s $22/day and in a parking garage. We also weren’t given clear directions about after parking. Do NOT follow the “elevator” sign.
2.) no free breakfast. Coffee and breakfast cost me $20, though we didn’t want to find another place in town to go.
3.) called for pillows for the pull out, to which we were told it was the weekend and they didn’t have any. Then asked about an extra blanket and was told if we wanted one, we’d have to go down to get it ourselves. Which I refuse to do. So, in all, I slept on an uncomfortable pull out sofa with 1 extra pillow from the bed in the room and a very thin fleece blanket. I was uncomfortable and freezing all night.
4.) every time we took the elevator, it sounded like it was about to plummet. For the door rate staying $499/night, you’d think they’d fix the elevators.
5.) was VERY noisy during the day. The road it’s on is incredibly busy. There were atleast a dozen emergency vehicles that went by with sirens, loud exhausts, etc. Maybe I expected too much being from a smaller area, but dang.
If it weren’t for those things, the hotel is quite nice. The lobby area was great. Tons of seating options, billiards table, tv, and Starbucks coffee. 😊

It was nice being so close to the events we were attending and a bonus was having the 3rd Street Market attached to the hotel. Good fun and things to do, kids like the bags and shuffle board.

Some staff seemed high out of their mind on uppers or something. Glitter and blood stains on furniture. Do not stay here. Dude who checked me out was chill though.

Staff was very friendly but we did have a trainee who needed some help. Room was very clean but pool needed some attention.

I had asked for an early check in, which the hotel was able to accommodate upon arrival. We had asked for a crib/pack n play to be brought to our room. Which they did. I also asked for a late check out. cause my husband and baby came down with a nasty cold, they also helped out with. I understand that this might not always be the case, but they were very helpful. They have a starbucks/cafe on site, and are attached to the third street market. And two short blocks to the Baird/ Wisconsin Center. I would stay again!

The two people that we worked with were the friendliest and most helpful people I’ve ever encountered at a hotel!

Only thing I can complain about was the shower they’re honestly kinda cold and have a small shower head but other than that it was beautiful and a great stay
