The room was amazing - big suite with everything you need. Fantastic spot across the street from a beach

Staff was very friendly and on top of everything. The property was very clean and up to date.

Very nice property, nice views of the bay, updated rooms.

Great location, access to beach, close to restaurants and activities.
The cottage needs some minor updates.

The WiFi was horrible and I was supposed to be working. It made my days very difficult. It would have been nice to have notice. DONT GO IF YOU NEED TO WORK!!
Otherwise, it was a cute cottage and my kids loved the pool. I loved the grill. The dishwasher was horrible and falling apart but at least there was one.

The resort is amazing! We stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage, it was sparkling clean and the pullout couch was really comfy!! The staff were friendly and extremely helpful! I left a few new shirts there they helped me with getting them back, always friendly , kind and professional. Quick walk to the beach, the pool and hot tub were also well taken care if and clean! Highly recommend! Will be back!!!

location was near beach. private beach. We like the size of unit. We liked the private porch. We like it was near Hyannis.

This was a perfect little vacation right before taking our boys back to college. Had a wonderful time at a wonderful place! Conveniently located, nice accommodations, pretty beach. And CLEAN!

Well kept property ,very cute cottages with Coastal Decor, kitchen items suffice for stay. We stay again.

The listing in Hotels.com state that the one bedroom suite has a kitchen. But it only had a kitchenette and no stove. Very misleading. Plus if you open the pull out sleep sofa, you will have to move the armchair around and basically have very little space to move around
So our family of 4 (3 kids and 1 adult) had to move to a 2 bedroom cottage which was overall so much better as it had a stove and 2 bedrooms

After a very lackluster checkin at this beautiful hotel we weren't expecting much, but the accommodations were so nice that it made up for the front desk clerk's lack of welcome. (guess she's been working this job too long to understand that she's the "first impression" for guests staying at this hotel for the first time)
This hotel has a GREAT location since it's just a short walk to the nearby marsh/beach, plus it's in a very quiet area because the beach's parking lot is quite small so most of the beach-goers must live nearby/within walking distance.
We were lucky enough to have a first-floor suite, so no stairs were involved in toting our bags to the room. Upon opening the door, we were so happy to see what looked like a freshly renovated, spacious one-bedroom suite with very comfortable furniture, which included two upholstered swivel chairs, spacious couch, kitchen table/chairs, closet, and an efficiency kitchen including a full-size frig and microwave, plus a large wall-attached TV. The bathroom was a nice size, with a tub/shower combo. The bedroom had a queen-size bed, closet, dresser, TV, ceiling fan, and sliders to a balcony.
The suite was VERY clean and had plenty of wastebaskets, lighting, A/C (the Cape was on the cool side at night, so we kept the windows open instead of running the A/C), good Wifi, and plenty of parking. We didn't try the pool, but others were enjoying it during the day when it was warmer.
We highly recommend this wonderful hotel!

The pictures posted of this place do not do it justice for the following reasons: 1) The property is clean and well kept. 2) the staff is very friendly which gives it a homey feel that we just loved. 3) This place has something for everybody which makes it a nice get away for families with small children the property has a pool, spa, mini park and activities room make it very hard to run out of things to do. 4) Beach is within walking distance 5) the Sunday $2 pancake breakfast was like walking into grandmas kitchen... very pleasant staff and guests.

We only stayed for one night but there is so much space that it did not seem packed. The beach is conveniently right there that when spotty showers came in, it did not matter. We could go right back to the beach right after the storm passed. It was a perfect weekend!

Great location. Clean. Quiet. Friendly staff. Great pool area and clean bathroom at pool area.

Loved the room size. Room had great amenities. Loved the private beach!

We went swimming in evening. Cool to walk from room to the pool.

This was an adorable cottage just about 200ft from the sand. Lovely inside accommodation with all the amenities except toiletries and salt and pepper for cooking. Also they need to replace the very flat pillows. Other than that it’s got a great pool and bbq

We loved our stay! The only issue is that a 10 a.m. check out is super early!! Not so good!

A great place to stay, especially if you have kids! Nice pool, nice playground, and plenty of grassy space for games. We enjoyed having water views from the second floor deck and a short walk to the beach on Lewis Bay

Overall Colinial Acres was a very nice resort. Pros: Exceptionally clean, great location away from traffic in a quiet, residential area within a short walk to a nice neighborhood beach. Good WiFi and up to date TV’s. Great place for families with game room, work out room, outdoor play area and beautiful indoor pool. Several restaurants, shops, etc. within 10 minute drive. 12 minutes to Ferry. Large patio with recliners and picnic table. Expansive yard area with chairs, tables and upgraded, gas propane grills with burners.
Cons: only con was sofa and chairs need a ottoman or two in living room area to make it more comfortable for TV viewing.
Great average priced accommodations. I would return.

Close to beach and restaurants rooms nice. Will definitely return again!

the management is very distrustful. They require all guest to sign a series of forms stating the monetary penalities should you not adhere to their rules. . 10:00 checkout time is rediculous.

We only spent one night, but we enjoyed the private quiet cabin, it was really awesome!

Room was clean, comfortable. Requested a room with wheelchair access, got one with a step into the entrance. Family member was able to walk enough to get inside.

Clean and simple lodging with a water view. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. We had shower issues which the registration desk made note of. The tub didn't drain well and I had a lukewarm shower although my husband, who went first, had a hot shower. The hot tub in the pool area was nice and hot but the jets weren't working. Maybe it needed to be reset. I enjoyed the aqua massage table in the pool area. No charge for that. Overall we had a nice 1 day visit to the Cape. I would recommend this place.
