Had called in advance with a few questions and Maria in reception was kind, professional. I know it is hard to find people for housekeeping. We travel a lot and always speak to housekeeping, our greetings were met with blank stares. Most did not speak a word of English. I am sorry they not trying. They too are apart of the guest experience.

It’s hard to describe how awful this place is. It began at check-in, when the employee checking us in complained about how busy the hotel was and how busy he was. Our room was shabby; the air conditioner blew small pieces of black stuff (dirt? Mold?) all over the bed the whole time it was running. There were spills on the floor in the lobby that hadn’t been cleaned up…ever. On the day we checked out, we opened our door to find dog feces scattered in the hallway. (At least we hoped it was from a dog.) The housekeeping staff were cleaning rooms near us but did not clean up the dog poop. They just ignored it. The whole experience was terrible and we were counting the minutes until we could check out. We will never stay in a Green Tree property again.

Terrible stay. Arrived to a marijuana smell which only got worse on our floor. Front desk did not seem to care. There were only 2 bathroom for hotel users and the mens bathroom was out of order. That’s a challenge when the suite room can accommodate 6 people and have one bathroom.

This was once a very nice hotel. It is in need of painting and patching, a lot of things were worn out. The elevator interior was damaged. The frame on the bathroom mirror was worn off from the faucet handle hitting it. On the plus side, it had a hotplate, dishes, frig * freezer, shampoo & conditioner. No ice is available. Way overpriced for the condition and location. It calls itself Eagle/Vail. Vail is 20 miles to the East.

Overall positive experience, dimmed only by the lack of hot water for my 4-day stay (the hot water heater was down due to a mechanical problem). Cold showers were not ideal. Sympathetic staff, but management was MIA. No effort was made to relocate me to the part of the hotel that still had hot water, nor to offer any rate adjustment. I'm a repeat guest and will likely return. Management, you can do better by your guests.

As I walked around my room, I noticed that the floor squeaked. Weird, but OK, till I heard the occupants above me walking around their room. Have never had that awareness of other occupants in a reputable hotel before. Could not find luggage dolly.

It was overpriced, but the only thing we could really afford. Noisy residents, broken toilet seat, empty shampoo and conditioner containers, no coffee filters, burned out light bulb, no light at all in much of the room--good thing we didn't have to spend time there. Best thing about the room was a comfortable bed.

The hotel is centrally located and the staff are helpful. The room smelled awful like overdone cleaner or mustiness and the window had no screen on it to vent things without letting in bugs. The wall was missing a picture or something. The room was tidy and the air conditioning worked thank the gods. The room should cost about half as much ad it does but its ok if you need easy and less expensive for this area.

Initial impression: Attractive lobby & guest room Upon further review: Room was not as clean as it looked; cable TV was not working due to some kind of systems failure; at check-in we were not informed about how to use stove-top so we thought it didn't work (we later learned, at check-out, that there was a timer). A simple continental breakfast would be a welcome addition.

Little was in the room in the way of utensils, pots and pans, etc for an extended stay. The staff said they will provide what is needed if asked. I thought the bedding would not be warm enough as the weather was getting cool (mid-Oct). The front desk individual was kind enough to bring 2 heavy blankets to our room. As it turned out, they weren’t needed after all. Comfortable room- spacious.

The property was good enough and priced well for our needs. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a refrigerator and the staff was friendly. We stayed there less than 12 hours so it met our needs. On the down side, the room reaked of marijuana, the TV didn't work, the phone didn't work, and the bathroom didn't have a fan. The property was a bit beaten up. For our needs it was fine and the price was right but if I was staying in the area longer I probably wouldn't stay there.

The rooms smell strongly from cleaning (sweet, lemony scent). I found a hair on my pillow. A light bulb was out in the bathroom. A/C unit was extremely loud. Worst of all, my smoke alarm started chirping every 30 seconds at 11pm. When I called the from desk, they said Maintenance would be up to fix it. After waiting for 15 minutes, I called back down and they said they didn't have anyone on maintenance duty but they could put me in a new room. New room was fine.

Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Luckily we could open a window because cleaning solution smell was pretty strong. Location is great, close to interstate and bars and restaurants. I thought it wasa little pricey but all hotels were expensive. There's a little kitchenette with microwave and fridge.

Economic, quiet, easy parking/access. Terrible coffee maker. Check utensils if you plan on using kitchenette, as ours was missing quite a few basics. A note about your "safety feature" of having your stove hooked up to a timer would be nice rather than trying to figure that out by trial and error.
