My husband and I stayed here this weekend while visiting friends and family. The $40 cash deposit at check in was unusual, but we got that back upon check out. The room was average. The king size bed was more than a little firm, kind of hard. But we only stayed 2 nights so it wasn't awful. Glad to be back home in Knoxville and in our comfortable bed. 😊

Basic but good value as an overnight stopover. No coffee making facility in room and coffe only available at reception in mornings (free). Was just looking for somewhere to sleep overnight so didnt explore wider area - bed was comfortable though

Staff was PHENOMENAL. spacious, clean rooms. Location gave everything you would need close by. Excellent value. Ive stayed at others in the area, the Legacy was FAR better than the competition.

I was just about ready to go to bed. I find out I’m sleeping with cockroaches. You know what you see now you got the bug heebie-jeebies I’d like to have a full refund maybe Tetanus shot.

Great place to stay when in Cookeville. Well run hotel where husband and wife team take pride in what they do. I have stayed there before and will stay again. They organized rooms so our group could be next to each other. Thanks much and see you again soon!

It was nice for the price. I would not take my family there. I am staying another week and have reserved the room for future football games. I would have to say it’s a 5 star hotel for the low price I paid

The room was clean and the woman checking me in was very nice and helpful. The location is close to the interstate and several different restaurants. The bed was a little too firm for my taste but still comfortable. The only bad thing was the noise from the main road (sirens and loud vehicles). Overall a decent stay for the price.

For me, a woman traveling alone, I felt it was a very good value for one night and would certainly choose to stay again. Unusual, there is a $40 cash deposit required which is returned at checkout after management checks the room. I was given a second floor room with comfortable king size bed. Everything was clean and in working order. I spoke with the owner. She was very pleasant and excited to receive good impressions of their business. Coffee is in the lobby as well as a clean and beautiful aquarium with colorful fish. Perfect stop for travelers crossing the state. Also check-out Ralph's Donuts and the Delmonaco winery while in Cookeville! Tennessee is my home state and this area does not disappoint!

First off, you get what you pay for. So don't expect much. One thing unexpected that I didn't like was this mandatory $40 cash deposit that they require. I wish that would've just been part of my Expedia booking. The room wasn't bad as far as cleanliness. The A/C unit had black mold visible on the vent fins (glad I only needed to stay 1 night). The bathroom had definitely seen better days (bathtub was stained and the toilet was loose from the floor). The people at the front were nice and all but I definitely don't plan on coming back.
