There is nothing stressful about getting late to the airport; my tip is to stay at one of the hotels with shuttle buses, a bar/restaurant, and a good breakfast option. If this checks all your boxes, then the Raddison Blu is right for you.

This Radisson hotel offers a nice, basic stay—though a bit tired, it is fully functional. The breakfast is good, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are spacious, with very comfortable beds. I especially appreciate the basic tea and coffee-making facilities in the room!
On the downside, the walls are paper-thin, so you can hear your neighbor’s TV. Light sleepers, beware—you may want to pack some earplugs!

I found the front desk people to be perfunctory. There was no warm welcome. They were just blah.
Additionally, the shuttle bus driver did not show up for the 6am run. It created a lot of stress for the eight people who needed to get to the airport.

While the staff was very responsive and professional when it came to our complaints about cleaning policies, the fact is that we did not know the management had initiated a policy of not cleaning the rooms until the third day of a stay, unless we asked for a cleaning . We asked for one and still did not receive a cleaning. Only the trash cans were emptied and towels were sloppily placed on the edge of the sink. When we finally did get a cleaning the person assigned to our room was curt and rude and actually told us to leave the room . The carpet in the room and in the hallways was dingy, dirty and stained . We were very disappointed with the conditions . Also the shuttle from the airport , which is published to be running on the half hour , was more like an hour and with lots of luggage and being tired from a very long day of travel was irritating . We did very much appreciate the reception staff and managers , who always were professional and responsive . We would not stay there again unless there had been some major improvements and renovations

Check in was slow. The hotel was tired with wallpaper peeling off the wall in the room, dirty cracks in the bathroom floor. Ingrained dirt in the toilet, lights torn and falling off... I have stayed in other Radisson Blu hotels with positive reviews, this was very poor...

We booked an Economy room and we were surprised to see it was so spacious and clean, we were impressed! The shuttle is free from the airport to the hotel, but it's 5 euros the other way. The shuttle was on time and very convenient.

Well appointed hotel with a regular and quick shuttle from the airport at a reasonable price. Check in process was a bit slow and cumbersome. The room was spacious and comfortable and with a bathtub, but the room was cold and I couldn't get the temperature up.

My experience this week was a little disappointing after my stay last week.
I arrived in late on Monday evening and the reception was not as friendly and helpful as I had experienced the previous week but overall a good stay.

We were very impressed with the hotel. We had lots of space in our room and the bathroom was also a good size. Everything seemed to be very clean. The only thing we were not used to was having to pay for the shuttle back to the airport.

Third time staying at The Raddison Blue Hotel in AMS. I am an airline employee’s spouse and must fly standby, so when we don’t get on a flight, this hotel is the perfect place to stay for a layover. The city can be reached easily by taking a train from the airport or an Uber. The food in the restaurant and bar area is great, the beds are very comfortable and the staff’s customer service is fantastic. I will definitely stay here again.

No wash cloths, coffee maker did not work well. Only 3 nespesso cup. That didn’t make enough coffee for one person. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. I am staying again on the 18th. After that I probably will change hotels. I asked for a jounior suite with a king bed and got 2 twins. Not too happy. Hotel really gone done in my opinion.

Check in was quick and easy. The hotel lobby and bar were clean. the room was a standard hotel room, nothing to set it apart and nothing to complain about. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. There was plenty of parking on site, for a charge. In all, it was a “nothing special” hotel, but a good location near the airport and a good price. Would stay here again.

This was a great airport hotel! The shuttle was very convenient (even if not free), and the room had all the amenities we needed for a one-night stay. The only notable downside was that the room was not soundproof; we could very clearly hear the TV from the other room and the conversations in the hallway.

Horrible check in. I reserved two rooms, staff could only find one. Unfortunately, my phone was dead and i couldn't show my reservation. Staff unhelpful. Finally took one room and went to room and charged phone. Went down to desk to show proof of my reservation and that i had paid in advance and got lots of grief. Only after I said I wanted to talk to manager, and was told he/she was not on site, and I said i would like his/her phone number was I grudgingly told I would get my second room. It then took over an hour to get this second room.

I had booked 2 rooms via Hotels.com for a colleague and myself and received confirmation from them for the two rooms more than two weeks in advance. We arrived close to midnight. It turned out they had sold one of the rooms to someone else and the only option was to share my room with my colleague. The person at the front desk blamed Hotels.com, but she agreed to cancel the one room so we would not have to pay for it...As a compensation we received free breakfast. I will never stay at Radisson Blu again or use Hotels.com
