Booking was changed from what we expected with no notification, even with no line check-in took twenty minutes, beds were awful, air conditioning unit in the room was so noisy that none of us slept well, breakfast buffet quality was poor.

Always easy check in. Rooms are always clean. Bed and linens are very comfortable. Really good breakfast in the AM. Whenever we're in the area this is where we stay.

Friendly service. Great breakfast. Clean rooms. Furniture in lobby, very worn. Looked like they went dumpster diving. Goes for the mattresses too. Swag bad in the middle and springs squeak.

Everything was exceptional from the housekeepers to the maintenance guy. Lashay and the kitchen worker were awesome. Boreeya just a jewel. The corporate office lady was as kind as they come. I am a hurricane survivor and I would like to say that Zaria the night receptionist took over an hour of her time to allow me to talk and grieve. I would ask that there needs to be a charging station in the rooms and the faucet in the tub was dangerously faulty. There were also amazing hiking trails near me which put me at ease. I would suggest that the motel do some research and tell the customers about what was around. Latta Nature Reserve is fairly close. The pictures are posted. The only really negative experience I had was with the property manager, Stephanie Johnson. She was dismissive and rude. I asked to borrow a block and she leaned against the wall, rolled her eyes, and refused to even look. Lashay was there and tried to make an attempt, but I think she feared for her job. I also believe that Zaria was fired for helping me. I am a retired teacher and as calm as they come. But I suffer from PTSD and Stephanie Johnson made my experience worse. I could not eat or sleep because I was triggered from the storm and the stress from her bullying felt like an assault. I brought my mother to this hotel to stay a few days while her power was being restored in South Carolina from the hurricane. At check in, it was a little chaotic because they were just so busy, but after the manager, Stephanie, stepped in, she made everything perfect. My mom enjoyed her stay.

Asked to have my rooms adjoin or at least the same floor. Not only did they not adjoin they weren’t even on the same floor. There were 3 floors in this hotel!!!!! Are you kidding me!!! Ridiculous

The walls seemed paper thin. We heard the room beside ours was up into the night. The lights were not on at the outside pool, so we didn’t go. That was one of the reasons we picked it. Gravy and biscuits were advertised for breakfast, but no gravy. I would not stay here again.

The door handle was broken. There was not a remote in the room. Our reservation said the rooms have a microwave and refrigerator, we get there, and there is definitely a space where there should have been, but there is not a microwave or a refrigerator. We had to use our small cooler bag and ice for a little bit of leftover food and our dog's insulin. The next morning, the table and bag were covered with ants. So that was fun. Standard small breakfast. Right off the interstate, so great access. Shopping and dining are easily accessible.

I booked this hotel through Expedia and applied a $100 gift card. The total amount of my stay was billed immediately and the gift card was not applied. Upon seeking resolution, I was informed by BW that it was an Expedia error and that I could not edit my reservation to reflect the gift card discount, nor could I cancel the reservation and start over. Pool was closed - water green and murky, some paper debris floating in it. No one knew when it would be serviced, no prior indication it was closed. Thermostat clicked loudly and did not always connect to wall fan when adjusting temp. Vanity light burnt out, bulb black. Bathroom light flickered constantly. Cigarette burns in comforters. Bathroom door barely cleared toilet - very cramped bathroom. No bathroom ventilation. Shower head pink/orange residue, poor putty job barely holding it in the wall. Asked room service for towels, was told someone would bring them to room but never got them. Listed as non-smoking on reservation, but smelled vaguely of smoke. Other rooms' doors had [NO SMOKING] sings displayed, making me think mine was a smoking room. Breakfast was poor quality. Old fruit, watery eggs and gravy, spongy sausage, rubbery bacon, some juice dispensers out of order. Staff was friendly and I felt safe, but that's the only up-side. Will not be staying here again.

For starters the beds were extremely uncomfortable the one closest to the window was completely broken leading you to wake up in a hole in the middle of the bed. Same with the pillows felt like sleeping on bricks. I’ve slept on floors that were more comfortable. The door also had zero seal on the bottom so you could hear everything going on outside the room even our own conversations. The room was unsanitary. Chair had stains as well as the walls in the restroom. The water was cold and we were welcomed by a crayon drawing left on the door connecting to the other room. A leg on the table was broken as well as dirt and footprints on the wall next to the bed. It was very clear there was minimal effort into the cleanliness and maintenance with the over all room itself. I have stayed at many best westerns with many positive experiences and it is safe to say I am beyond disappointed in the quality and performance of this hotel. I will not be returning and recommend anyone to steer clear from this location.

Only one person working on a sold out Saturday night. Key card machine was down causing a large checkin back up. Once in the room we found one of the pillow cases had a big stain on it and the bathroom had hair and human liquids in various places, very very disgusting. The carpets were sticky and the smell of room freshener was so overpowering that my eyes and nose were burning giving me a headache. If it wasn’t late and a sold out race weekend I would have asked for my money back and gone somewhere else. This was a worst western minus not a best western plus. Worst stay I have had at a hotel in years!!!!

The hotel was awful. The beds had huge bows in the middle. I could hardly walk when I got up. They never cleaned the room, threw the trash or exchanged towels. There were dead bugs in the hallway all weekend which means they did not clean the common space. The 2nd room where my help was staying had no refrigerator and the door handle broke. The room they were moved to had no refrigerator, no micro wave, no remote.

This hotel does not accept cash payment. This is unacceptable, cash is legal tender. This policy needs to be reversed. I chose to the option "pay on premise" and was refused cash payment.

We have stayed here before and had a good experience. This time they were having work done on the parking lot and it made getting in and out very difficult. Also, our vehicle was sprayed with whatever asphalt solution they were using and it left a splattering of tar like substance across our windshield, side mirrors and front windows. I spoke to the staff about the situation and they advised they would inform management and get it resolved. They never got back to us about it so I asked again when I went to checkout. They said they didn't know anything about it and no one told them anything. I left a note with contact information, requesting someone from management to get back to me. I have heard nothing. I have tried to call several times and have not been able to reach anyone, despite calling at different times of day. I don't know how I'm going to get all of this stuff off of my vehicle but I know it's going to cost a good bit. Needless to say, I'm a bit frustrated and disappointed as we are repeat customers and always take good care of the space when we are there.

Jamar and Alicia have best hospitality and customer service. They are very professional and courteous and they help whenever it is needed. There's another lady she doesn't have very good customer service skills who works the front desk I want to say she's of Jamaican descent she just walks off in the middle of being talked to and she doesn't really respond. I've had a problem with one of the cleaning staff ladies but the people at the front desk quickly helped that problem. Other than that it's been a great stay I've been here for over 3 weeks. I've enjoyed staying here.
