I usually hold off on leaving bad reviews. But my stay here was so terrible due to corporate's decision to not inform guests the elevators were under maintenance "for a week and a half". I was informed of this upon my late night arrival. My room was on the third floor and I had very heavy bags. I mean I had to make multiple trips.
What comes up must come down, leaving was also miserable. No help. I live with disabilities, there should have been constant assistance with bags for everyone and communication to guests beforehand. I will never stay here again.
The place itself was OK and the workers were nice. This negative review is aimed at whomever decides on communication and handling problems.

Very good deal for the price. Local to many shops and eateries. My only wish is that they offered any kind of continental breakfast, even coffee! Also, when we were packing the car, the cleaning lady opened our door while our belongings were still there and handled our stuff which bothered us. It was pretty obvious people were still occupying the space, as we had our bags, jackets and travel mugs laying in wait for us. Other than that, front desk was nice and room was nice. Only 28 minutes outside of Salem (without traffic). Overall pleasant stay.

I have been staying at this location multiple times a year for just over 6 years. The location is great; just off the highway and lots of restaurants and shopping if necessary. It used to be under a different hotel chain, and I can't remember the name? It switched to Sonesta about 3-4 years ago.
Unfortunately, this place has really gone downhill in the last couple years. The condition is really poor in common areas, rooms and exterior. The place is in very rough shape. The abandon cars in the parking lot are a nice touch. My room was filthy, dishes still in the dishwasher even. It looked as if the cleaning person did little more than make the bed and replace bath towels.
As much as I liked staying here in the past, this trip was my last time. It has just gotten too seedy.

Good sized room but needed updating . Light in bathroom did not work, bedside lamp falling apart. Overall good .

Hallway smell way too strong, fake cleaning product. Property showing significant age. Room was quiet, bed was comfortable and the location convenient.

Our stay was convenient location wise but the hotel was very dirty. Rooms weee not that clean, towels in the bathroom had hair and what looked like blood on one. It was actually gross . We were also told rooms get cleaned once a week. Not sure I heard that right.

The elevator was out our entire stay. The property did not seem especially clean. The beds were uncomfortable. The AC/Heater unit in our room was extremely noisy. I will not be staying here again.

Very disappointing. Elevator was broken. Stairwell smelled like dirty socks and the rug was very dirty. We were subjected to other guests opening and closing the stairwell door throughout both nights during our stay. There was an awful powdery odor in the hallway. In the room, there was an old, ripped recliner that had an awful odor as well as an old chair that seemed completely out of place in the room. The bathroom and shower curtain had a sour, mildew smell. We had to keep the room window open almost the entire time to air out all of the awful odors. The only positive was the proximity to local restaurants which were nice.

The front desk lady was just awesome. She made our check-in easy with ease and I needed a handicap room and she did get me the best room closest to the entrance. The front desk staff was great The room was no frills ,clean and the bed was very comfortable.. but it doesn't look like the picture

Sonesta Simply Suites Boston Burlington offers great units with a bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. They also have a kitchen with a fridge, and plenty of space to sit comfortably and work with your laptop or watch TV.
The hotel is near the Burlington Mall, and a few steps away there is also a shopping area with a huge Wegmans supermarket, a bakery where they serve Spanish-style cortado coffee, and restaurants.

The only thing I did not like was our neighbor from above who was noisy and smoked all the time. Even with closed windows the smoke penetrated our room, which was most annoying in late evenings.

We’ve stayed at Sonesta Suites prior and this location does not live up to the quality expectation. Between barking dogs and fire alarms, sleep was lacking. The facilities are fairly clean but very old. Some kitchen amenities but limited. No information given at check in concerning WiFi, gym has heavy weight options, no pool, no breakfast.

I will never stay at a Sonesta brand again. Hotel room was old, facet in bath falling off . All kinds of homeless people around. And a $5 night parking charge was uncalled for. Hotel needs refurbishment.

I like to stay at Simply Suites when I am in Burlington for appointments at Lahey Hospital. I stock up on food (I live in rural Maine where the options aren't as good) and can store the items in the FULL-SIZE refridgerator that Simply Suites provides. The beds are also the most comfortable I've experienced. Friendly service, a gym, and laundry facilities are a great plus too!

Overall, a decent and clean property with easy access to nearby Lahey Medical Center, my reason for stay. While a bit dated (no USB connections, worn furniture), the kitchen facilities in the room allowed me to prepare meals and not rely on fast food.

The staff was very nice, and the room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed staying here!

There were people hanging around the property day and night that were smoking weed. You would walk through the smell. The outside was area was not well-kept. The rooms were somewhat dingy and had to kill a few bugs during our stay. The hotel did not fit the excitement of the area surrounding it. Hotel did not meet our expectation.

The suite was clean. The sofa bed was not so comfortable, but not too bad either. The pillows were excellent. Several restaurants and shopping are located nearby.
