The rooms are small with no AC, I had to work up at night to open the windows. The staff are not friendly and could not provide information about available services around the area. I dont recommend for people staying longer.

Right across the river from both the railway station and bus station unfer a 5 minute walk. Adjacent to a shopping mall also.

Stayed on monday and it was excellent however when we came back yesterday the air con was not working and it was uncomfortably warm, esp when trying to sleep. Staff are super nice

Checked in very late due to flight delays but receptionist couldnt have been any more accommodating. He was very nice. Perfect location to get to train station in morning

The hotel is convenient for Charleroi airport but that’s where anything good stops about it.
The bathroom had mould on the wall and ceiling. The toilet still had someone else crap stains in it. Every room has wooden floors but they have these plastic chairs that make this awful loud noise when they are moved.

Dreadful - massively overpriced for a low budget hotel in poor condition

Lovely hotel. Literally directly across from the train station. Perfect for a one night stop over for CRL airport. Staff were perfect, facilities were as expected! We purchased brekki & there were a large range of options!
Large shopping centre & a lovely lil mining museum to spend a good day out in.

Budget hotel, U get what u pay for ! Stayed for 3 nights, air con didn’t work, our room wasn’t serviced, had to ask reception for clean towels on daily basis, room (119) overlooked back of hotel so the view was of derelict buildings.
Handy for shopping (everything closed on a Sunday) and public transport (metro/bus/train) 3 min walk
Area doesn’t seem safe, lots of boarded up buildings and bars selling “laughing gas” balloons

The air condition did not work in whole hotel.
The hotel did not tell us in advance.
As it was very hot we needed to look for another hotel, the hotel did not feel obliged to help us.
We had to return to Brussels for an hotel as all around were fully booked

It’s basic ok for a stopover for airport or train, the hotel reception arranged a taxi to the airport and the driver ripped us off big time, definitely don’t use the taxi company that they used

Good location for rail travelers. Airport bus adjacent to train terminal. The next time I travel from Brussels South I will transit to airport directly and avoid Charleroi.
The place is a mess, garbage spilling from all containers in town. The room was noisy from ventilation fan running outside window. They kindly provided earplugs on bedside table. Breakfast expensive for the variety so I passed. I have stayed in better places for less money recently in Europe.

The facility was good. Our stay experience was very Good. The hotel was very good. The only concern was the air conditioner was not working and also, there was no kattle in the room, not possible to make a cup of tea like we see in other hotel.

Close to the train station, supermarket & restaurants. Logistically good for travellers. Unfortionate with all the road works going on in Charleroi at the moment, it makes a lot if noice. However, this is jusr bad luck for the moment.
The woman in the reception was very kind.

Google struggled to find this hotel (wrong side of the river)
It is a budget hotel (but no tea making facilities) - which for the price, you’d think would be included.
Very noisy people in the room next door - TV very loud until 01.00, but that isn’t the hotels fault.
Best thing is the convenience. 15 euro for a continental breakfast was over the top.

First of all the hotel is impossible to find because of closed roads and construction; we finally entered the name of a nearby restaurant in order to find an alternative route.
When we had parked there were three rough looking men smoking something else than tobacco sitting in the parking lot, so we hesitated to leave the car there, but reception assured us they must be guests if they had access to the parking lot...
After putting our suitcase in the room (overlooking a deserted backyard with abandoned houses), we went out to look for dinner.
After walking the wrong way we ended up in some shabby back street with vendors at every street corner; selling drugs or sex so we quickly walked back and found the restaurant recomended by the receptionist. It was closing, so the waiter recommended another place, that was also closed, but at least we could have a beer there. (Quai10), and the friendly waiter gave us a small bowl of cheese (!) iso the usual peanuts when he heard we hadn't eaten since lunch!
Back to the hotel room we went to bed, and the beds were ok, but the a/c didn'¨t work, so it was a very warm night with lack of sleep, but the advantage was that since we couldn't sleep, we could leave early...
This is my 2nd night at an Ibis hotel (last time was in Lyon 2 years ago), and after the 1st one I swore never again. This time I will stick to my promise...

The hotel was massively overpriced for this dreadfully poor place. The rooms were like low end student accommodation.Sold as having air conditioning - but this did not work. The room was so hot and the beds do uncomfortable that we hardly slept at all. The following morning the receptionist refused to give me a receipt (business trip) because I had already paid when I made the booking. After several requests and being told that it was not possible - I told her I would call my card company and tell the the payment was fraudulent. Then as if by magic she could print me a receipt.

Pleasant stay, pleasant people. Very helpful staff. However I was surprised to see that my towels haven't been changed during the 5 days stay. There was no sufficient amount of toilet-paper neither for 5 days stay.

Good hotel right opposite the train and bus station, and shops are five minutes walk away. Bed was comfortable enough for the night. Stayed because we had a early flight the next morning.

Expidia sold me a hotel far away from my family. We found ourselves without a room in Bruxelles. I want my money back. It is Expedias responsibility to recover it.
