AC - Heat did operate as should although they did come right away and took are of it and offered to change my room.
The TV only had a few channels that worked most others said no signal. On the screen it should a pic of a remote and where the guide button was on the remote. However the remote in that room had no guide button or a button that said guide on it.

Nice spacious King Suite, clean, convenient to SL3 line .... but incredibly noisy, not only you can hear car noises but right across train from Salem stops so every 30-60 min there is incredible noise from train siren and train ramp ... we couldn't sleep at all and quite frankly why are other guests not reporting that?

I recently stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton near Boston Logan Airport in Chelsea, and it was a fantastic experience! The room was comfortable and impeccably clean, making for a very relaxing overnight stay. One of the highlights was the free shuttle service to and from the airport, which was incredibly convenient. Upon check-in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and even received one of their signature warm chocolate chip cookies—a nice touch! The check-in process was smooth and quick, with friendly service that set a positive tone for the stay. Highly recommend for anyone needing a comfortable and convenient place near Logan Airport!

This was a very quick one night stay. Shuttle from the airport was great. However, we left too early for the airport shuttle or breakfast in the morning.

I had a great time during my stay. The only thing I wish I knew in advance was how close the property is to the commuter rail line. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. The cookies, of course, are always a delight. I will definitely visit again in the future.

Fabulous spacious hotel in easy reach of airport and with comimentary shuttle- but better still adjacent to the MBTA station for quick rail access to the north of the city and the silver line bus to south station. Ideal location for the city at half the price of city hotels. Excellent breakfast offered too

The hotel offers everything you would expect from this category. Our (low) rating is primarily based on the courtesy bus transfer provided between the airport & hotel:

We tried to let the hotel know our arrival details via email and chat but never received an answer.

Upon arrival (after a long transatlantic flight), we called the hotel and were promised a pick-up within 30 minutes. After 50 minutes of waiting, we had to call the hotel again and were promised the bus would arrive within the next 10 minutes, which worked.
I suggest the hotel either skip this service or improve its reliability. We have seen other hotel buses passing by three times and picking up passengers while we were waiting for our.

The transfer back to the airport was disappointing. After a rough ride, we picked up our luggage from the van and were yelled at by the driver, asking for a tip. My wife felt emotionally threatened by this behaviour.
I suggest the hotel works on their service, including employee training.

This hotel is wonderful. The room was large with great amenities, plenty of isb and plug sockets, large TV and a coffee maker in the room. Its close to the commuter rail line which can get you to the city quickly and also the airport. They run a complimentary shuttle to take people to the airport/use the blue line subway and also will pick people up. We would stay here again with no doubt the next time we visit Boston/Salem.

We enjoyed most of our stay.
The hotel has on-site parking for a fee of $25 per night and is across the street from a shopping plaza that has a grocery store, nail salon, Five Guys, TJ Maxx and more. There are also other eateries in the area within a 5 minute walk. The room was clean and spacious. There was shower gel and body lotion provided. The staff were mostly friendly especially the female bartender who was very sociable. However, the male bartender (Thomas?) on our last night was very standoffish and left us feeling like we were a bother. We also experienced an issue with one of my Amazon packages going missing and the story given by reception just didn't add up.
The pool area needs a bit of work-the windows were very dirty and also the pool was visible from the parking lot directly outside which is not ideal.
The airport shuttle was a plus and the driver was helpful and pleasant.
FYI- The king room description here is misleading as it says bathtub or shower. However, upon check in we were advised that the king rooms do not have a tub, only the rooms with two queens.

You can hear train and buses even thru closed windows. If you want to sleep , pay attention where the windows are facing. Hotel is run down but clean. A good spot for an overnight stay near the airport.

pro: good bed, clean, good blinds to create a dark sleeping environment.
con: limited "free" transport to airport at night. Factor in 30 dollars for a taxi, boring surroundings and not much to do apart from sleeping. Can be noisy depending on your neighbours.

I like the shuttle options to and from the hotel. Staff is very friendly and allowed for early check in. The rooms were just noisy due to thin walls.

I booked a room and called the day before to get a roll away bed. I got there and was told my room wouldn't accomodate a roll away bed. When you book, it doesn't say you have to HAVE a certain size room to get a roll away. Annoying.
BEST thing about our stay was THOMAS in the restaurant/bar. He had solutions and was the most pleasant and enjoyable part of our stay! Don't lose that man as an employee. He made a loooong day of flying sooo much better! He is the MAN!
