Even though the hotel was empty they charge me $85 to have a room before 3 pm. I have never been charge this rate at any other US Hotels. Even though I had paid for breakfast everyday, they informed me that I did not have breakfast included. I had to look for my records to show them.

Initial room was a bit dated with shower in bath which we had trouble getting out of being over 70 years, but they immediately upgraded us to a walk in shower room, with a better view. Hotel is close to shopping malls and plenty of restaurants to choose from with various cuisines. Hotel staff were excellent - very friendly especially at check-in, and breakfasts were great - we had a breakfast box on two days as we had an early pick-up, and they were more than adequate. They can also book day tours and make recommendations which we found very useful. The hotel restaurant was quite expensive for what we had, and we only ate there for one evening, but all restaurants in the malls were also fairly expensive, so be prepared to pay - Santiago is an expensive place.

This was probably the best Marriott experience we’ve had, staff was amazing and very accommodating. This location is perfect it is close to everything, grocery, drug store, mall, and food. Would highly recommend.

Staff were kind and helpful (and multilingual) Room was OK, bed was clean, carpet was "tired" Room was serviced every day, and water bottles replenished. Generally, the hotel is is need of a "makeover", it'll be a huge effort, but with more modern competing properties nearby it'll be worth it.

Very good staff overall, Christian at the front desk was very helpful, as was Rodrigo in the bar, unpleasant parking security guard one day. Overall a pleasant stay.

A good quality, clean hotel. I usually stay at the Courtyard hotel about 100 yards away. This time I decided to try the Marriott as the rate was very good. I have no complaints about the hotel, except that the room service was closed at 9:30 PM. COVID was the reason. The hotel is a little older than the Courtyard, but in very nice condition. Breakfast was very nice. That's the only meal I ate at the hotel. Overall, a very nice hotel, but next time I'll be back at the Courtyard. Just as nice, and less expensive!

The hotel don’t have the pool and spa areas working. It was not specified or explained at Expedia or at the Marriott Hotel Santiago website. One of the important reasons to book this property was to enjoy the pool. We can’t.
