Room was dingy and smelled of mildew. Needs better ventilation and carpets to be scrubbed. Pool and hot tub were overcrowded with kids, so we couldn't use them. Enjoyed drinks outdoors at the Mallard restaurant with the beautiful mountain landscape. Breakfast was full, lots to pick from.

Lovely surroundings - premises, less

Restaurant closed , pool heater broke and a ring around the hot tub that would make a truck stop proud . Spa and resort no last resort yes great value at 99.00 or less
Worn out and needs major repair .
Staff is incredible and personable

We were out in a “suite” near the golf course. View was nice, room was large but very outdated. “Suite” was technically two hotel rooms together. One of the AC didn’t work. We called the front desk to have it fixed. We were told someone would come to look ant it and no one ever showed up. Bed mattresses were stained. Gross! Couch mattress was very springy and uncomfortable. And the drawers to the nightstand kept opening and wouldn’t stay closed.
The dining was ok. It’s a runner down, old golf course restaurant.

Check in slow

Dated and run down. Crazy expensive for what you get. The whole resort was nice about 20 years ago. Pool, hot tub and all the walkways are eroded and falling apart. Main restaurant was close. Rooms are also dated and missing decor on the walls. Clips still on the walls from what ever was hanging. Just utterly overpriced

This hotel is in need of care. There were holes in ceilings, decor worn from the 80’s and the cafe is really minimal, not really a dining spot. Not worth the cost of the stay

Quiet and restful place to stay near Mt. Hood.

The setting is beautiful and the resort seems like it was once pretty nice. They “upgraded” us to a suite, but the room was very tired.
Beyond being generally dated, the furniture in our room was disintegrating, and we had to pick up pleather pieces constantly so our baby would stop trying to eat them. Our first room had a broken air conditioner so they moved us. The second room also had a broken air conditioner in the bedroom. The pool was nice but freezing. And although we had a patio outside our room, there was a yellow jacket nest in it and my other child was stung.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the mountain setting was great. Seems like an owner/management issue. In the end, it was probably not worth the price we paid.

A resort stay after camping...oops! There was a time when the Mt. Hood Oregon resort was amazing....so what happened? It might be high time for a complete makeover because the site itself is absolutely stunning! First of all, the only restaurant open is the golf course pub. And lo and behold, on Monday morning with the kids, it wasn't open! Why? because there was a planned electrical service blackout so they determined it would stay closed all day. So when is this blackout...anytime between 8 AM and 3 PM was the answer from reception. Shouldn't we have been told this upon checking in? INEXCUSABLE! Couple that with what can definitely be crowned as the WORST in-room coffee ever to have been served and this stay was doomed. And IF you DO decide to go, don't get a ground floor room unless you like living under heards of animals! Plus, if you go for a swim....you'll need goggles! It was BEYOND dirty and it is high season!

It is a lovely mountain escape. Beautiful area to walk. We don't golf, but the rhodo garden was nice.

The furnishings in our room are (still) really out dated. We have been coming here for over 15 years and they were talking about doing updates back then but most of it is still the same. They are currently renovating the restaurant and the exercise room, but the actual rooms need new furniture (chairs, cabinets, countertops, etc.) as they look like they are the original furniture from when the resort was first established.
3.9
Won’t be back unless major investments in the facility
3.9
Gem that needs renovation's. Great staff
3.9
Great location! Dog friendly, clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
3.9
The only letdown was the “included” breakfast. I chose the breakfast option from Expedia but the breakfast offered were just coffee and pastries. Cheap hotel chains offer better breakfast than that.
3.9
Excellent staff & beautiful golf course & natural areas. However, over an hour before breakfast was over everything was completely gone besides gravy & one muffin

Everything was awesome

Husband handicapped, clerk refused to put us on main floor on pool area. Hotel was obviously not full; far from it. Area we were put in was consuderable dusrance from pool & tub. NO conveniet breakfast area. Hotel did not give a darn about handicap or making sure guest receive breakfast. No token. Never stay agsin & we are members

Great location and affordable rates. The resort is a bit outdated but it has all the essentials and is a great spot to visit the Mt Hood area

The room had a very strong perfume smell, the lights flickered on and off, wall paper was peeling off the wall and the biggest thing was the fridge quit working and all of our food we brought spoiled. We told the front desk when we checked out and all they said was “we’ll let maintenance know”.
3.9
Our room was not cleaned/prepped as well as it could have been and was missing key items.
3.9
Room had a terrible odor

Great stay!

Bery nice

The lady who checked us in was delightful and most helpful. The room was spacious and clean, but the grounds could use some cleaning up.
3.9
A lot of the amenities were not as nice as advertised. Hotel room was clean but definitely felt old. Hotel staff were excellent and very nice and helpful.
3.9
Loved it! Beautiful! Will return
3.9
The area was beautiful but the hotel was under construction and we were not informed prior to our visit. We checked in a ~8 pm and the first room we were given had not been touched by housekeeping. We were given another room with an upgrade, which was nice.
3.9
We enjoined our stay, nice pool, tennis and basketball courts, easy walk to the breakfast area at the golf course
3.9
Nice place! Beds and pillows were very comfortable
3.9
Gates into the hot tub area were broken. One worked. No comforter on the bed. Just a sheet and a small blanket. Not ideal for sharing. The bed was ok. Not the softest but have been on harder beds. Fireplace was nice but one firelog then had to buy more.
3.9
Very friendly staff! Easy check in! Clean rooms! Great location!
3.9
Really nice but would be cool if spa was open later
3.9
Property is severely outdated. We got locked out of our room three times (suites). The shower was is poor condition with very low water pressure. Most amenities were off limits due to repairs (spa, gym, main restaurant). Food at the clubhouse wasn't great at all and only one person was doing everything. The staff was great but I would not have stayed here if I knew everything was being repaired and the condition of the room was so poor. I will stay again once everything is back up and running and remodeled because of the quiet and beautiful scenery.

What a freaking rip! $10.81 for self-serve coffee???

Close to Timberline

The breakfast was only free if you got cold options, otherwise you had to pay $10 for the usual standard complimentary grub of pancakes, bacon, hashbrowns.

Nice all the eay around

Wonderful clean place to stay while up skiing for multiple days. So close to the mountain and amazing staff. Can’t wait to come back
