We've been going here for about 10 years now with the kids for Christmas night away mainly because of their pool. Sadly without any notice their pool wasn't open and hasn't been for 6 months. If we had of known this we wouldn't have booked with the Clayton. Our room was dirty and the furniture fell apart when my wife opened the bedside drawer. Our tv also had very poor reception which really put the early night tucked up in our room with a christmas movie didn't go to well either

Disappointing stay found a receipt for someone's kebab takeaway dated a few days earlier lying beside the bed which shows lack of cleaning. Not sure if was in the bed sheets. Not even half a roll of toilet roll in bathroom.
Breakfast service was terrible no apple or orange juice asked 3 times before 1 of the servers brought us 2 glasses from the kitchen. Had to wait on sausages paying extra for the breakfast is definitely not worth it

Would recommend a refurb and the shower could have been better.

The Clayton is a welcoming hotel. We had booked a deluxe double room and ended up having an executive room which was lovely. We are in the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and lots of choice for breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back again

First room we were given was not serviced from night before. They gave us a new room which smelled musty. A fan in the bathroom was faulty & kept us awake as it was so loud - you could hear it even in the corridor. Told receptionist in morning about it. Breakfast was cold - would not recommend hotel.

Our 4th time in Dublin but our first at the Clayton and we loved it!!!
3.0
We were given incorrect information about parking which meant that we could not claim back the money we paid. The information about the car park a fair distance from the hotel at check in was unclear and when we attempted to redeem our receipts we were told that we should have been given a different method to reclaim the money. Three nights meant we paid an additional sum of almost £60. The staff at reception were unhelpful

It was a short but good stay, hotel condition and staff were very good and helpful. The breakfast was ok. The location great if your plan is to eat out and go for drinks, plenty of nearby places to eat and drink.

Upon check-in we asked about parking and were directed with an arm wave to the back. Went to the room and it was very cold. Tried to adjust the heat but the thermostat was not working. Called the desk and said they would send maintenance to fix it. We waited about 15 minutes and decided to leave. When we returned about 2 hours later then thermostat had not been fixed. Was told the only thing they could do was offer a space heater. What!!! The clerk then lied to the company and said I was satisfied with the heater. Not true! I said this is a safety hazard and isn’t there any other options? He said the heater was the best he could do. We stayed 2 nights and the problem was never resolved. Then upon departure another desk attendant asked if we had parked in the back to have our parking stamped. Nope!!! Knew nothing about that option.

I recently stayed at the Clayton Belfast Hotel for a weekend getaway, and overall, it was a delightful experience.
**Location:** The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, making it easy to access popular attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The beautiful views from the hotel are a bonus!
**Check-in Process:** The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, providing us with all the necessary information about our stay. Receptionist and night manager were very helpful
**Room Quality:** Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities, including a mini-fridge and coffee maker, were much appreciated. The bathroom was modern and spotless, with high-quality toiletries provided.
**Service:** Throughout our stay, the staff was attentive and eager to assist with any requests we had. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience. But, need more training for bar staffs. Overall is ok
**Overall Experience:** I would highly recommend the Clayton Belfasf to anyone visiting the area. It combines comfort, convenience, and excellent service, making it a great choice for both leisure.

Room was not serviced during our 2 night stay.
Breakfast was chaotic - had to wait for half an hour and a lot of choices were unavailable.

Shambolic reception. Did not have Hotel.com booking. Wanted to charge again. I had to produce the Hotel. Com confirmation email. Breakfast was included in my reservation with Hotel. Com but they refuse to provide access to breakfast without payment. The rooms were never cleaned during the 4 night of stay. The management and service was very poor. Will never book with Hotel.com again as they blamed their incompetence on lack of proper communities from Hotel.com. Please avoid Clayton if you can as it definitely is not value for money.

I very often leave poor reviews however on this occasion due to the extremely poor condition of the hotel, room service which was non-existent. Example my colleague had a dirty glass outside his door for two days that had previously been there on arrival, room was not cleaned or beds made during a two day stay. Furniture dated and most of the hotel directly. I will not be hurrying back anytime soon.

Great looking hotel until you go in the bathroom as the ceiling was covered in mould other wise a suitably fine place to just sleep - breakfast was a fiasco as no plates or any clean tables so had to fine a clean spot and grab what warm not hot food was available- staff fine and sorted it but said they were inundated first thing

Wifi didnt work in the bedrooms - annoying as i was there for work.
Shower ran red hot or cold & nowhere in between.
Dont look under the beds - .really gross. Id dropped an ear-ring & discovered all sorts besides on my quest to find it.

I paid £165 for an exec room , inc breakfast. I would have been happy at £99. The dated and worn room also had a very noisy air vent. The breakfast was poor quality.

The reception and dinning area were nice. Thats the only good thing i can say really. The staff i didnt really incounter with but the few i did they were helpful. The room tho very outdated. We got our room serviced everyday and everyday the new towels were dirty or stained. We could here peole talking in there rooms that were only a few doors down as well as could hear everything outside even with the windows closed.

This is a very conveniently located hotel in Belfast, just a few blocks from the bus station as well as easily walkable to the city center, St. George’s market, and many coffee shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our three day stay.

Staff was friendly and room was comfortable and clean.

Very expensive for what youre getting. Think it was around £170 per night, plus £20 breakfast, plus £15 overnight parking.
Breakfast was poorly prepared, rooms were outdated and in dire need of a refresh. Tiles missing, mouldy grout and scratched up student accomodation like furniture.
