I walked into a construction zone. The owners are creating a social area off of the lobby. My room was on the 2nd floor. Very clean and comfortable. This is a hidden gem, and with the completion of the common area will add to it's charm.

Great stay! Comfy bed with a clean and cozy room. Tons of TV channels. Beautiful location. And the front desk clerk was amazing. Brought us up our pizza delivery and a whole bunch of other little gestures that showed she cared. Would stay again and recommend to out of town guests.

Great location. Comfortable beds. Desk fair to terrible. Offer 24 hour coffee. Went for coffee at 8:30 am with at least 7 to 8 people coming in for coffee and there was none. Let front desk know this, but still none 5-10 minutes later. Yet there were 3 employees at the desk just chatting

This hotel is a mixed bag. The location is great, within walking distance of most everything in Sheboygan. It is right on the harbor, which is great if you have a view of that rather than parking lot. They try hard. They are attentive. Unfortunately, the inside looks right out the 1970s. You can hear everything that is going on outside your room. It could definitely use a refresh. Overall, $225 seemed a bit high for a Tuesday night with a parking lot view. I expected a nicer room for that price.

Harbor Winds is more like a motel. Physically outdated, functionally and stylistically and not in a quaint way. Te room was tidy, but not clean. The power hub was sticky and seemed surfaces haven’t been clean throughly in a while. The staff is ambivalent about the short comings, but have a natural Midwest sweetness that is disarming.

The hotel was conveniently located for walking to restaurants and shops along the river. It was comfortable and quiet with curtains that blocked out light at night. Be aware if you are mobility impaired that there is no elevator

The room was very clean and the bed was comfy! I was very impressed with the bathroom in particular. The hotel staff were friendly and the hotel itself is in a great location. You could easily walk to anywhere you needed to go. My only gripe is that the walls seemed to be very thin; you could clearly hear everyone in the lobby and through the hallway. I would definitely stay here again.

Checked in on Thursday A/C unit was so noisy you couldent sleep. Was moved to a new room on Friday all was good till Midnight Saturday night when some one tried to enter our room and woke us up.

Property was run down, breakfast was non existent, could hear everything going on in the hallway, ice machine was broken and absolutely no staff after I checked in around 8pm! There was nothing redeeming about this hotel other than being on the river!

The manager of this property is fantastic! She does everything around the hotel, and does it well! She was incredibly welcoming, sweet, and helpful. The property was charming, and used to be associated with the military, and included a picture of the original building. Being right on the water was fantastic, and it was very walkable to close shops and restaurants. We will be back!!

Phone cord was broken. Had to reconnect the cables to the TV. Unable to contact front desk. Carpet was frayed. Bed frame was broken and patched. Cost was low so I guess you get what you pay for. Breakfast wasn't too bad. Although coffee wasn't too fresh. Check in and check out went smooth.
