Love my stay will definitely be coming back.

This place looks great when you first get there. Great view of the bridge and close to Old Town…until the valet tells you it’s $36 a night to park your car! And, he made us get our own baggage cart! Go park across the street for $20 unless you have a vehicle over 6’9” tall.
Rooms are pretty nice. A living area with a nice TV and couch and the sleeping area. The room smelled like cleaning chemicals but dissipated after a few minutes.
Ordered a veggie and hummus plate for my daughter while my wife and I went to the bar to have a drink. 4 falafel, some carrots, celery and hummus was $40 when it was all said and done! Talk about sticker shock!!
The bar area is nice. TV’s to watch and kinda separate from the dining area so you can actually have a conversation. We ordered a cheese plate to nosh on. A few pieces of cheese, crackers, nuts and some honey$20! The drinks are way overpriced and the pours are minuscule! Everything there is a metered pour. And the pour on the wine is tiny. For an actual cocktail, Imagine a giant iceberg in a bathtub a 1/4 full of water!
Time for bed…or not!! The most uncomfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept on. Pillows so tall and hard they put a 90 degree kink in your neck! And all the pillows are the same. At least some hotels give you a choice of tall, flat, hard or soft.
Great complementary breakfast in the morning. Pretty much everything you could want. That was definitely the highlight of this place! I will not stay here again!

We have stayed here twice now and we love it. It is close to old town and the Railroad Museum which is why we went. They have a great continental breakfast. We stayed in the suite with two queens which is perfect for our family of four.

Stayed at the Embassy suites in Sacramento to see a concert and it was easy checking in and easy checking out. Will definitely stay there again.

This was a great place to stay. It was clean, comfortable and safe. The room had an unpleasant smell but nothing air freshener couldn’t fix (I went and bought some).
The breakfast was great! The staff were really friendly. Parking is across the street costing $15-18 per night.

Overall, stay was very comfortable. Suites always comfortable. Restaurant, bar & daily reception were all very good. Only complaint was valet -- had to wait 15 mins on both occasions, as they couldn't find the car. Also had to track down valet both to take & retrieve car. Hotel staff were all very friendly. Easy walking distance to waterfront, Capitol & Golden 1 Center.

Enjoyed our overnight stay next to the river and Old Town Sacramento, that is until my granddaughter sliced her foot on an underwater pool light. It took a while for the bleeding to stop

The hotel is great and I love the convenience of the river walk and Old Sac. The homelessness surrounding the hotel is sad and at times unsafe.

I’ve stayed at numerous Embassy Suites & everything has always been 5-Star rated. This location has a number of rooms on the main street. I maybe got 2 hours sleep due to all the noise, cars, motorcycles, even trains. There is obviously no sound proofing. If you stay here, its a must to ask for a room NOT on the main street! Also, be aware, it’s 100% valet parking at $36 a day…

Everything was pleasant and the staff was courteous, kind and professional. From the valet, to registration, bar, breakfast cooks and attendant staff. All those teams we had interactions with and it was all good!

The hotel had zero parking for my truck. NO valet parking during my stay and I had to park across the freeway from the hotel in a public parking lot that was located next to a very sketchy park. Further more, I had to wake up at 5:30AM because the parking lot had a maximum time and i had to move my truck by 6AM. VERY inconvenient.

The room was nice. Until we took the first shower. The drain was completely clogged. We called the front desk and they sent a maintenance worker up. He doesn’t turn on the water. He listens to the water that is still draining, from an hour ago. He tells us it’s obviously draining. It takes an hour of explaining over and over again to watch how it drains WHILE the water runs. He the make a lot of noise for half an hour. Lets us know he’s cleared the drain. Awesome right? No the clog was put in our the toilet to be flushed!? but forgotten. He also washed his hands, used our hand towel and threw it, covered in brown stains, on the tissues.
Then after a long day, we opened the pull out. A bounty of wet melted hot tamales appeared. Tons under there, everywhere.
I’ve never felt so filthy in a “clean” room. Nothing was safe at that point. Everything is for appearances. Nothing is actually clean. Anywhere.

Room not clean upon arrival. Last guests food in refrigerator and counter tops dirty..Maids let liquid soap in shower run out without replacing. Three male employees stood and watched myself and girlfriend be approached and yelled at by street person and did not assist us, One employee was the security guard! Most uncomfartable bed I have ever had at a hotel.

This hotel exceeded my hotel expectations by offering so many complimentary options. From cocktails to a great breakfast buffet, this hotel was fantastic. Definitely will be staying here again

Room smelled like fish, front desk staff said it was the couch. Apparently the couches developed a mildew issue during Covid yet the hotel installed them anyway. We didn’t get a comp of any kind, no offer to change rooms, they just kept spraying down our room. Super gross. Bartenders and waitstaff were awesome though, and the valets.

Nice place to stay for a overnight
